Scene:Some months ago, far from Bees Village and beyond the borders of Shin Kingdom.
Night. Rain pours over a small village. Inside a modest house, a mother sits beside her ten-year-old child and reads a story.
Mother: A thousand years ago there was a war between the human kingdoms. No other races fought — it was purely a human war. One kingdom, called Jugu Kingdom, declared war on all the other human realms. Their king was confident he would win, because he had the most powerful human ever born — a man no other human could surpass. He was known as the Illusion Master, and he fought for that kingdom. But during the war the kingdom betrayed the Illusion Master and tried to kill him. He was incredibly powerful; he escaped and fled far away. Some say he died in that battle, others say he hid and trained in secret — the truth is nobody knows where he is now. And that's where Nimi's story ends.
The mother closes the book.
Nimi: But Mama, why did that kingdom betray the Illusion Master? He was fighting on their side, right?Mother: Maybe the king thought the Illusion Master would become a danger to them and the kingdom in the future.Nimi: Mama, what was the Illusion Master's real name?Mother: Hm? I think—
At that moment another voice speaks.
Voice: The Illusion Master's name was Rana.Nimi: ! Papa! (excited, suddenly energetic)
Hearing that, Nimi jumps off the bed and climbs into her father's lap.
Mother: When did you come home?Father (Rana): I just got here while you were telling the Illusion Master story.Nimi: Oh—my papa's name is just like the Illusion Master's name, Rana!Rana: Hmm, just a coincidence, Nimi. But it's late now — go to sleep quickly.Nimi: Okay… (reluctantly)
Mother: Shall I prepare dinner?Rana: No — Suna, I'll rest a bit first.Suna: Alright.
Suddenly the doorbell rings: ding… dong…
Suna: Who could that be at this hour?Rana: I'll check. Stay inside.
Rana opens the door. Standing there are five men.
Rana: Ha! Captain Futa! What are you doing here this late?Futa: I had some business nearby and came by.
Rana shuts the door — night and rain outside.
Then two of the five suddenly grab Rana.
Rana: Huh?! What is this, Captain?! (confused)Futa: Rana — there's no personal grudge here. But seeing your skills, Sir Bura ordered your death. You are a threat to his post. Kill him, and kill his family too.Rana: Wha—what?!
Futa: Set fire to the house!Men: Yes, sir.
Three of them rush to other houses and cast fireballs. The houses catch—flames beginning to spread.
Rana: Now you've gone too far! (angry, tense)Futa: Just die!
Rana tightens his stance. One man on his right tries to subdue him, but Rana lashes out, punching that man and another — both fall to the ground.
Rana: Mare of Water — Water Merag!
A wave of water appears and extinguishes the flames.
Rana: Life Death — Kirama!(This skill strikes the enemy's spirit, brain, and heart — it causes full-body paralysis for life. In short, it's a crippling technique: their hair falls out fast, their skin dulls, and within a few days they can go blind. If this skill lands, living is worse than dead.)
Futa falls to the ground, incapacitated.
Men: Sir Futa!Rana: Die, all of you! (fearsome tone)
Rana delivers a final blow to each attacker's head; they collapse unconscious.
Rana runs outside. Suna, Nimi are safely shielded from the flames. Rana appears beside them.
Suna: Rana! What is happening? (terrified)Rana: We have to leave this village now.Nimi: Again?!Rana: There's no choice, Nimi. Come on, quickly.Nimi: Papa, this is the third time this year we had to leave a village like this! (crying)Rana: I'm sorry… (sad)Nimi: I just made some new friends! (sobbing, frightened)Rana: I know. I'm sorry.
Rana lifts Nimi into his arms and the three of them run. After a while they put distance between themselves and the burning village. Rain continues to fall as they flee into the night.
