Several days passed, and Rakawa had now been at the Ninja Academy for a month.
During this month, Rakawa's strength had improved significantly. The few battles he had engaged in provided opportunities for growth.
The amount of Chakra he possessed was now at the Elite Chunin level—a formidable power, especially when combined with his two unique abilities. This combination made him an almost monstrous existence.
Generally, everything was fine, but the situation with Mikoto still left Rakawa feeling slightly frustrated.
For the past few days, Mikoto had barely spoken to him, while Fugaku Uchiha strutted around triumphantly, seemingly asserting his dominance.
This situation infuriated the two brothers, Hiashi and Hizashi, who wanted nothing more than to fight Fugaku.
Even Kushina Uzumaki was annoyed by Fugaku, wearing a dark expression all day, as if someone owed her a fortune.
Rakawa, however, remained calm and composed, seemingly indifferent to everything. His tranquil responses frustrated the smug Fugaku to the point where he wanted to spit blood and beat Rakawa up, yet he was utterly helpless to do so.
"Mikoto, class is over. Let's go."
Fugaku once again approached Mikoto, reaching out to grab her hand as she prepared to stand up and leave.
Mikoto instinctively took a step back, leaving Fugaku's hand suspended awkwardly in the air.
As if sensing something, Mikoto glanced at Rakawa, then lowered her head, sighing internally. "Young clan head, I already have friends waiting for me outside. I'll just go back with them."
With that, she quickly ran out of the Classroom. Fugaku's mouth twitched violently. Friends? What friends? Was she actually refusing to even let him hold her hand? Was she rebelling?
"Good and evil will eventually find their retribution, whether sooner or later."
Rakawa casually uttered this phrase. Fugaku's face stretched long and dark. Was Rakawa mocking him?
Hiashi's eyes rolled, and he walked over, asking with a look of confusion, "Boss, what does that mean? It sounds profound."
Rakawa mentally gave him a thumbs-up and said leisurely, "Good deeds are rewarded with good, and evil deeds are met with evil. It means the same thing as the saying 'It's not that retribution won't come, it's just that the time hasn't arrived yet.' Those who do good will eventually receive good rewards, and those who do bad will eventually face bad consequences."
"So, people shouldn't do immoral things, right? Boss, I understand. Does that mean immoral people might suffer eight generations of bad luck, like choking on water, getting run over crossing the street, or perhaps burning themselves to death while using Fire Release Ninjutsu, or dying of jealousy because they envy others? Is that right?"
Hiashi spoke earnestly. Rakawa was laughing inside. He hadn't realized that the usually straightforward and carefree Hiashi could be so cunning.
"Yes, that's exactly what I mean. You are very smart."
Rakawa suppressed his laughter and walked out. The Hiashi and Hizashi brothers quickly followed.
Behind them, Fugaku Uchiha's face was livid. They were cursing him like this? And doing it indirectly—it was too much.
However, he couldn't do anything about it now. Not only had they avoided naming him directly, but there were three of them, and they could crush him like a Stray Dog in an instant.
Rakawa turned his head as he exited the Classroom. "Hiashi, you performed very well just now."
Hiashi shed his earlier demeanor and chuckled. "It's all thanks to your guidance, Boss. I know what I need to do."
"Oh? Have you figured out your mission? Then this month hasn't been wasted. Hizashi, support Hiashi well in the future. If you encounter any difficulties, come find me."
"Yes, Boss."
Hizashi remained composed. Although still young, he already showed the foundation of his future self.
Hiashi was also gradually changing. This was one of Rakawa's objectives for coming to the Academy.
The Young clan head of a future prominent family naturally couldn't be allowed to maintain a carefree, joking personality. He had to change and understand the weight of the responsibility resting on his shoulders. Only then could he understand what he needed to do.
A large clan must face not only the small Hidden Leaf Village but also the vast Shinobi World.
If he lacked sufficient courage, wisdom, and character, how could he lead the clan to prosperity amid the turbulent waves of the Shinobi World?
...
It was night. The bright moon in the night sky gave off a cool, clear feeling.
Under the hazy moonlight, Rakawa continued refining his Chakra within the Hyuga Compound. However, one matter constantly left him feeling agitated.
Stopping his training, Rakawa slowly exhaled a mouthful of stale air. After thinking for a moment, he got up and stealthily left the Compound.
Familiar with the Compound, he easily slipped out of the Hyuga Clan and began wandering the streets of Konoha.
There were few pedestrians at this hour, only a handful of drunks slumped on the roadside, continuing their grand delusions.
Night was the peak time for active ninjas. Many ninjas would choose to execute special missions under the cover of darkness, avoiding the daytime crowds, which made completing tasks easier.
After walking for half an hour, Rakawa's Byakugan detected two ninjas moving across the rooftops of Konoha, rapidly advancing along their planned route.
"A Ninja career / Shinobi life is full of infinite possibilities amidst danger. I wonder what my Ninja career / Shinobi life will be like. Two years, I only have two years at most to prepare."
He lamented his limited time. Unlike those carefree students, he knew exactly what major events would shake the world in the future.
It was an event that would almost completely overturn the world, plunging the entire world into panic.
"Hmm? How did I end up near Kushina's residence?"
He looked up. His aimless wandering had brought him right outside Kushina Uzumaki's home.
Recalling Kushina's attitude lately, he shook his head and turned to leave.
But his eyes inadvertently swept across the second-floor balcony. That single glance caused his pupils to contract sharply.
A dark figure emerged from inside the house onto the balcony, carrying something over their shoulder.
After looking left and right, the figure quickly leaped up and darted away into the distance.
Rakawa's eyes were fixed on that flash of red, a red as brilliant as the scorching sun. Under the hazy moonlight, it was dazzling.
"Kushina!"
