Chapter 4 - Chapter 4. A Deep Prison

The sun has set now and only few orange rays were falling on the ground. The moon had came in the sky to bath the world in the moonlight.

Many insects were preparing to call it a day, many birds could be seen flying back to their nests.

The stars had started to shine in the sky and different constellations were visible now.

Alice was astonished to see these many enemies surrounding him at the same time. He had been in many difficult situations and battle before, but he was never outnumbered this badly.

The battle axe user guy said, "Prepare yourself, follower of Lusifer to die right here... and right now. "

Alice was surprised to hear the name of this place.

He said to himself, "Wait, isn't Village Of Warriors sworn enemies of the Knight's Camp? "

Those men started walking towards Alice.

Right at that moment, Alice put his weapon on the ground, rose both his hands and said, "I surrender. "

Those two men behind battle axe user shouted, " 'Surrender'? Do you think what you had to our acquaintance, we will let you surrender like that? "

They both prepared to dash towards Alice but then the battle axe user said, "Stop at your place, both of you. It's our village's rule that if our opponent surrender, we put them in the jail—not for death. "

He further said, "Now both of you, go and take his weapon away and one of you go and get the hand cuffs. "

The men from different houses of that village walked back into their houses.

Few minutes had passed. The black blade of Alice was gone, their was a hand cuff on his hand attatched to a chain which was in the hand of one of those purple cloak guy who was wearing the white mask.

The battle axe user said to that guy, "Take him to the jail. I will be right there after getting my hand stitched back. "

That guy didn't say anything but only bow in approval.

Many stars were visible in the sky. It was getting more and more dark and the cold night air was blowing softly.

That guy pulled the chain of that hand cuff, as if he was telling Alice to follow him. And then, that guy started walking towards one of the house of village. It was a small—probably the smallest house of the village.

The design of that house was like a hut—it could be called hut and it suited it more. The door, window, walls, floor, they were of wood while the sloped rooftop was of thatch.

The adjacent walls opposite to each other had a window on which there was a lantern on each window.

That guy opened the wooden door. It opened with a creak sound and infront of them was hay in very large amount.

Three more white mask guys were with them. Those three entered inside that house first and cleared the hay and put them into each corner of the house.

A wooden trapdoor was visible now.

Those three men opened the wooden door and a wooden staircase was the first thing which became visible after opening that trapdoor.

One of the man grabbed a lantern from the window at the right side of the door and started walking down the staircase first.

The white mask guy holding the chain of Alice followed him, and so did Alice and remaining two white mask guy.

All five of them were walking down to a place only Alice didn't know.

Alice thought, "I do have played a gamble here. And if it failed, then I'll probably end up here until they find me. But if it is right, then probably I am gonna be successful in what I want right now the most. "

A minute passed and Alice could finally see the end of the staircase which was connected to a big hall, Alice could only see a glimpse.

Alice could also hear many voices down, as if many people were talking to each other—there were also whispering.

And finally, Alice arrived in that hall—or more like what he saw was a prison inside that house. On his right and left, there were cells and inside those cells, there were prisoners.

From women to men, and even children, there were prisoners. Not all cells were filled with prisoners, but many were.

Those prisoners looked at Alice and started shouting, "Send Luther! Let us fucking behead him! "

Alice questioned, "Who's this Luther guy? "

The guy holding his chain said, "That's none of your buisness. ", and then he pulled the chain with more strength which made Alice almost fall on the ground.

The floor of the hall was wooden while the walls were of stone. Not the whole floor was wooden, the floor inside the cells was of stone. The cells were of steel and the ceiling also was of stone.

From the rough surface of walls and ceiling, it was clear that this place was made using pickaxe and only the floor was redefined using wood.

Alice walked behind that guy while the lantern one walked ahead of him and remaining two behind Alice.

There was a wooden gateway infront of them and ahead of that gateway was another hall with more cells. They walked passed it and many of those cells in that hallway were empty with only one filled and inside that cell was someone wearing a knight's armor.

It was a female.

The female knight was sitting on the ground, her right hand was resting on her right knee, and her left hand was touching the ground for balance. Her head was slightly bowed, and the steel of her helmet was catching the light softly.

She was wearing a full suit of silver armor, carefully shaped to fit her body. The metal was shining with fine carved patterns, making it look noble and graceful. A deep red cloth was hanging over her shoulder and down her back, lying on the ground beside her.

Her chest plate was fitting firmly, polished but was showing faint scratches. The shoulder guards were curving outward for protection, and her arms were covered with metal plates that were bending smoothly at her elbows.

Her gloves were jointed and sharp. The left one was pressing against the dirt, her fingers were curling slightly as if she was in alert mode. The right glove was resting on her knee, the metal was reflecting faint light.

Her legs were covered in steel greaves and knee guards that were allowing her to move even while sitting. Her left leg was lying stretched out on the ground, and her right knee was staying raised, making her look both tired and strong.

The red cloth was pooling around her, brushing lightly against the ground.

Alice looked at her and said to himself in his mind, "Found it. "
