Chapter 260 - Chapter 259: The Power of Cause and Effect in the Catastrophe of Paradise

As Jehovah , to actually produce such a sound... we can only imagine how desperate he must be at that moment.

In that short time, heaven was breached, and the angelic army was reduced by a third. The regent ruler also completely fell and was destroyed. Most importantly, he was utterly helpless against the man who had caused all of this.

The scales had tipped completely in his favor. And even if he sacrificed everything he owned, he couldn't restore the balance.

Moreover, at this moment, Zhou Yi was still on the other side of the scale, indefinitely increasing her weight!

Rising towards the clouds and standing against the sky , the king of light suddenly reached out and grasped the Void Realm , opening his arms as if holding two great gates. With the force his arms exerted, all of Heaven began to tremble. He was using the Power of the Void Realm to shatter the spatial dimensions of Heaven .

No matter how much people beautified paradise, no matter how perfect a world they imagined it to be , they could not conceal its essence. Ultimately, it was an exotic spatial dimension not unlike the various layers of hell .

It could be sealed, shattered, or even destroyed. Therefore, for the king of light who held the secrets of the Void Realm, Heaven was nothing solid. At best, it was merely a slightly larger glass house.

Almost instantly, vast cracks appeared within Heaven. These were not merely fissures in the earth, but spatial rifts directly connecting to the infinite Realm of Void .

And anything that touched these cracks in the Void Realm was instantly drawn into it . It was the true embodiment of infinity and limitlessness , powerful enough to devour everything. That's why even Heaven was shattered under the power of the Void Realm .

As the ruler of heaven , Jehovah had absolute control over this dimension. The spatial cracks appearing in heaven were not a problem for him. The real problem was that, compared to the king of light who constantly created the cracks , his speed in clearing them was no faster than the king's .

The countless rifts in the Heavenly Realm had been cleansed , but almost instantly countless more rifts appeared within Heaven itself. He had done his best, but he was utterly powerless to change the fact that his Heaven was being swallowed by the Void Realm .

Moreover, the king of light was brandishing his fist—a fist capable of tearing through the sky and ripping apart the earth— before Jehovah .

Looking at that fist, as majestic as a mountain and as imposing as a falling comet, Jehovah gritted his teeth and gathered his divine strength .

Light and Sacred Fire intertwined, forming a fist in Heaven that was no less powerful than the fist of the King of Light . And this fist met the awe-inspiring fist of the King of Light .

Two colossal hands collided instantly, and the flaming golden-iron fist instantly shattered the hand composed of Light and Holy Fire. Countless fragments of light and sparks flew, inflicting immeasurable destruction upon the Heaven beneath the massive hand.

Beams of light, like swords of light, pierced through palaces and lands, and the Sacred Fire that scattered ignited countless plants and houses.

With feathers flying everywhere and rifts of the Void Realm everywhere , Heaven no longer resembled Heaven at all.

It resembled a post-apocalyptic ruin, or even a transitional hell . In fact, compared to hell , it was now more dangerous and terrifying, because it was being destroyed.

Jehovah didn't have time to mourn the tragic state his paradise had fallen into. All his attention was focused on the unyielding fist of the king of light . That fist was still coming toward him, and he had nowhere left to run.

Under these circumstances, Jehovah gritted his teeth and shouted loudly.

"I said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light."

All the light in the sky vanished instantly, and everything before their eyes was plunged into endless darkness. Then, suddenly, a point of light appeared and shone brightly right in front of the light king's fist .

It was an impure color, a dim and pale light; it exuded an air of ending everything and destroying everything.

This was once the ancient light of creation, but now its qualities had been distorted by its creator, transforming it into the twilight of utter destruction. And its sole purpose was to bring true apocalypse upon others.

The all-destroying, all-ending twilight, transformed into a dark column of light, instantly engulfing the immense hand of the king of light . The light, leaping from the collision, mercilessly destroyed everything it touched. Under its influence, palaces fell into ruin, lands became barren, trees and flowers withered. Even the angels, the embodiments of light, vanished completely in this twilight. Like extinguished lamps, their spirits could not withstand the corrosive effect of the twilight , instantly extinguishing completely and silently fading their light.

This was a mutually devastating blow. To thwart the attack of the King of Light , Jehovah abandoned almost all life in his Paradise. For him, these were merely his own creations, and creations were meant to serve their Lord . Compared to Paradise itself and his own survival, these angels were utterly insignificant.

The more people in the world who believed in him , the more people would ascend to heaven and become his angels . He would never lack such means throughout his life.

He abandoned his most loyal subordinates, but the results disappointed him greatly.

Although twilight possessed the power to end everything, in the embodiment of the King of Light , twilight had no effect. After all, it was merely the glow of the setting sun , and as the glow of the sun , how could it harm the sun ?

Like crossing flowing water, the body of the king of light , though shrouded in twilight, never changed its movements or direction of advancement. It took its steps, its fist reached its target.

With a single punch, all the focal points of the twilight were utterly shattered. And at the same moment, the king of light's second punch landed on Jehovah .

This punch was faster, more violent, more powerful, and it plunged Jehovah into even deeper despair.

He didn't believe he would get a good result from that punch, nor did he believe the Light Lord would only strike him once. Therefore, he didn't care about anything else anymore and could only activate his Karma power once more.

"I am the Father of heaven, and I command you: You shall not harm me!"

He wanted to neutralize the Light King's power or prevent the Light King's devastating fist from reaching him . But this idea instantly turned into a joke in the face of the Light King's determined attack .

Suddenly, the sky, already shrouded in boundless darkness, lit up with a light like that of stars.

From beneath the fist enveloped in Divine Fire, a sound rose that was as shocking as the first cry of the birth of the vast Universe .

The sky suddenly split in two like a scroll; one half filled with boundless darkness, while the other was bathed in golden light reflected from the brilliant flames of the king of light .

Countless rifts of the Void Realm spread everywhere, and the old Paradise appeared almost entirely shattered in the eyes of mankind. It was already tantamount to ruin; if no one repaired it, this dimensional space would be swallowed by the Void Realm and thus vanished into history forever.

And looking at the terrible sight his fist had caused, the king of light gently lifted his hand. Beneath his fist was still a living being. It was Jehovah , severely wounded .

At this moment , Jehovah had almost completely lost his physical form; he had transformed into light, a faint ball of light flickering silently in the vast darkness, as if it could be extinguished at any moment.

In fact, he was already dead. But his authority saved his life. This person, who claimed immortality, possessed the power of resurrection. Just like the saint . Jesus rose from the dead; even though his body was shattered by the destructive fist of the king of light , he was resurrected as light and returned to this world .

However, compared to those powerful individuals after the resurrection who were as strong as fresh seafood and vigorous enough to fight ten men, the present Jehovah was incredibly frail, almost no different from how he was when he was first born.

His divine power was depleted , his authority weakened, and even his heaven was nearing its end. And that wasn't the most terrifying thing for him; the most terrifying thing was feeling the power of Karma's authority beginning to drain from his body, and the corrective power from the Earth beginning to backfire against him .

Compared to other gods in the world , Jehovah was extremely keen on gaining followers. To expand his faith, he did not hesitate to wage war repeatedly between gods and religions. Countless beings fell into his path of faith. And this was what most surprised the other gods.

Gods should have no desires toward humans, so why does Jehovah , in God's name, start so many wars for a meaningless belief?

Only Jehovah himself knew the reason for this . In his teachings, he called all those who believed in him "God's lambs," and the term "lambs" represented their position in his heart. Just as a shepherd reaps wool to make his living, God reaps faith from his lambs to protect his interests. And what he protects is the great power of Karma's authority.

Karma is a miraculous ability. An ability that considers not the magnitude of power, but only the quantity of existence. Even if your power surpasses that of any god, if you are unknown and your presence or absence has little impact on the world , changing your reality is a matter of a single word.

However, if you are praised by billions and cursed by billions, or if your existence is intertwined with the workings of the world , even if you are a powerless being unable to stand on your own, the authority of Karma cannot alter your reality in the slightest.

Jehovah found a new way to ensure that the authority of Karma always favored the strong , and by making his name a symbol, he enabled most people in this world to believe in his existence.

How many people in the world believe in God, and how many pray to Him, asking for His help when problems arise or when they suffer?

Although most of these were fruitless efforts, they indirectly increased the power of existence.

For thousands of years, the faith of countless people has united in countless forces of existence, enabling Jehovah to become a god with the power to direct reality.

But now everything was different.
