Chapter 11 - Stealing food from a tiger's mouth!(I)

"Boss! Do you want to!" Wu Feng, who had stopped, looked back to see the four beasts involved in a serious life and death fight and asked with a neck-slicing motion.

Su Han flicked his forehead as he looked at him with a half smile.

"Are you drunk? How could we to deal with those monsters? Let's wait and see what happens if there is a chance we can pick up leaks; otherwise, it's best to leave." He didn't get confused at the sight of good things.

If it were before he had entered the Cold Mines, Su Han might not even dare take risks.

He would still have the delusion of setting up a bank right away.

But over the years, he has come to understand some truth about this world: strength is the determinant of everything.

So he plans to not only improve himself, but also make more allies along the way.

After all, he would need them, and he couldn't just set up a bank by himself anyway.

He had no cultivation talent, but he didn't think the same for Wu Feng.

He had already decided to focus on nurturing him. At the same time, he didn't plan to give up; after all, who wouldn't want the benefit of an increased lifespan?

But he didn't think the system would let him down.

The plan he had to form a bank wasn't easy. The most important issue was not just land but also people.

Since he wanted to let a bank grow into a massive entity, covering the entire world, he obviously had to focus on the foundation.

In other words, he needed to become a local overlord in a region and set up his own city or town. Everything he had to do was to improve people's lives so that he could introduce training.

All these plans obviously required time and couldn't be accomplished in a single day.

It would take decades, and he might have to rely on others' help.

Obviously, Wu Feng couldn't help with this, but he had his own value that could be utilized.

While he had these thoughts, the fight in the distance had grown even more intense than ever.

The moment Wu Feng and Su Han looked in that direction, they saw the massive bird in the sky flying unsteadily.

It was clear that it had been injured.

Though some distance from the fight, the two of them felt nothing but fear.

The golden eagle-like bird rose into the sky and continued rising until it reached a very high altitude, then stopped.

It then descended, its speed accelerating, until it couldn't be captured clearly by their eyes.

The only thing that I saw was a golden streak of curved light descending. It was like someone had cleaved a sword and unleashed golden sword energy.

The moment it landed, hundreds of meters were devastated.

The Ape, snake, and even the Tiger were badly injured from this.

The golden eagle, on the other hand, wasn't well off at all.

The moment it used this means, its feathers were charred as though struck by lightning.

It hovered in the air, but it's form was clearly not good.

At the moment though, those on the ground were whimpering as they had been badly injured, their eyes never left the shining grass.

It was just that the grass was completely exposed due to the fight with some of the leaves having fallen off.

The fighting had clearly harmed the treasure.

The white snake was the first to rush over and open its mouth as if to swallow the plant.

It was just that the golden eagle couldn't let it.

It let out an angry cry before it attacked.

Screech!

The eagle's claws, gleaming with golden, sharp light, descended aimed at the white snake.

Upon sensing danger, it wanted to avoid, but it was too late.

The sharp talons ripped through its scales and embedded themselves in the snake's body.

The eagle then rose into the sky, pulling the massive snake along.

The snake, hissing, wasn't willing to be outdone, and it instantly started coiling around the golden eagle's body.

The eagle had not yet risenn higher when it lost balance and came crashing down.

The tiger, on the other hand, was just about to reach the plant when it was knocked on the side by a massive force.

It was that giant Ape.

At the moment, it lost the previous calm, and its eyes turned bloodshot.

It was unwilling to let the grass go, but it wasn't the only one.

The tiger didn't even hesitate to turn back and attack.

It's massive form turned midair and with a sharp paw, unleashed five blood coloured lights that resembled a claw.

The moment it was unleashed, the tiger appeared weakened.

The attack landed on the ape, causing it to let outa painful roar.

The roar not only caused the grass to be pushed on the ground, but even Su Han in the distance felt his heart ringing.

Covering his ears, he looked in another direction where the massive eagle was struggling less and less.

"It seems that whatever that treasure is, it has high enough value. These beasts are even willing to fight to the death for it." He thought as he looked at the scene.

The smell of blood in the air suddenly became thicker and thicker.

"Is this going to attract other beasts over?" Su Han indeed saw through things clearly.

The fight had escalated, and it might even get more dangerous as time goes by.

Despite sensing that this place would become even more dangerous, he didn't leave; he stayed in place.

"Wu Feng! When the opportunity arises, we should see if we can obtain the grass over there and then escape." He had made his plans known to Wu Feng.

The reason for this was simple: he also needed his help.

But then he heard a slight whimper, and turning his head, realized the tiger cub was looking at him with spiritual eyes as if asking what about it.

"Calm down, little one. Once we make a move, you will also have your role." He said as he patting the little tiger slightly.

He had almost forgotten about it, but it clearly reminded him of its existence.
