Chapter 76 - Chapter 76

"Ahhh! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Kars watched Koakuma recoil her hand as if she had touched an electric wire just by grazing him, her eyes watering from the pain. There was nothing he could do about the situation.

The magic Patchouli had placed on him was specifically targeted at Koakuma. Even if he wanted to touch her, it would only cause her the same pain.

"Lady Patchouli, is this really necessary?" The punishment, which prevented even a simple touch, felt too cruel to Koakuma.

"This is the punishment you deserve. Nothing you say will change that." Since Patchouli was still upset, the spell would remain for the time being.

'But Lady Patchouli did the exact same thing I did.' Koakuma muttered internally. For now, this thought had to stay in her mind. If Patchouli found out, there might be an even more terrible punishment waiting for her.

"Then, Patchouli, can I leave now?" Kars looked at the scene and wondered if he could go. But the answer he received was negative.

"I need to give you some specialized lessons now, so you cannot leave."

"Alright." Hearing this, Kars could only nod and resign himself to sitting in Patchouli's lap. He really wanted to go back to sleep, but since she insisted, he had no objections.

After concentrating on the lesson for some time, Kars finally couldn't help but doze off as it approached his usual bedtime. This was the first time he had ever fallen asleep during Patchouli's class.

Noticing this, Patchouli stopped speaking. She looked at Kars sleeping in her arms and gently picked him up. Koakuma, standing nearby, pretended to know nothing, lowering her head to organize books, though she secretly glanced over, seemingly wanting to see what would happen.

Patchouli quietly carried Kars back to her room. Seeing this, Koakuma felt she could easily guess what was about to happen. This made Koakuma realize that perhaps someone like Lady Patchouli was the most formidable of all.

Inside the room, Patchouli looked at Kars sleeping soundly on the bed. This time, he was truly asleep, so deep that he wouldn't know even if she did something to him.

"To be so easily fooled by Koakuma… Did all those lessons I gave you teach you nothing?" Patchouli reached out and gently pinched Kars's cheek. The soft action didn't wake Kars. Seeing this, Patchouli first glanced at the door, then turned her attention back to Kars. Tonight presented another opportunity for her to do something similar.

As she slowly leaned down and once again kissed Kars's lips, a sense of satisfaction washed over Patchouli. She felt she was traveling further and further down this path, with no way to turn back. Her friend entrusted her with the boy's education, yet she ended up doing this to him. It was a truly unexpected development. Thinking of something, Patchouli took Kars's hand and slipped it inside her blouse.

The next day, Kars opened his eyes to see Patchouli's face right in front of him. He realized he had slept in her room, clearly having fallen asleep the night before and being carried back. At that moment, he noticed that his hand was gripping a soft object. He instinctively squeezed it, eliciting a small sound from the sleeping Patchouli.

Kars: ⊙_⊙

It was then Kars realized the situation: both of his hands were inside Patchouli's top, gripping her breasts, which were only covered by her bra. This was the first time he had encountered this. He didn't remember having a habit of grabbing things while asleep, especially not with both hands. Although he was very familiar with Patchouli's chest, he had never done anything like this.

While the texture was undeniably soft, Kars felt no reluctance. He carefully withdrew his hands and, as always, went out to sunbathe. After all, nothing was more important in the morning than soaking up the sun. Kars didn't dwell on the question of why he had done that, as it didn't seem worth worrying about. In his opinion, gripping Patchouli's breasts wasn't particularly strange; the question of why his hands were inside her shirt was more worthy of thought.

"I should really prefer just hugging people when I sleep." Kars pondered for a moment under the sun, then cast the problem aside as he enjoyed the sunbath. No matter what the trouble, it was all forgotten while sunbathing, allowing his mood to become as clear as the sun, refusing to be affected by any unpleasant thoughts.

"Sakuya! Good morning!" After his sunbath, Kars came to the dining table and greeted Sakuya, who had prepared his breakfast.

"Good morning, Young Master Kars. Remember you have class at the Terakoya today."

"I know." Kars nodded, indicating he hadn't forgotten. After finishing his breakfast, Kars flew off toward the Human Village for his class at the Terakoya.

Today, Keine Kamishirasawa hadn't found anyone else to teach, and Kars sighed slightly, looking at the figure at the podium. Luckily, it wasn't history class, but math. It was during this class that Kars finally realized what kind of classmates he was learning alongside.

Kars witnessed Cirno's incredible talent in arithmetic, writing "9" for the answer to every problem. Teacher Keine's face showed resignation, while Cirno looked incredibly smug. Honestly, I don't think there's anything to be proud of.

After class ended, Nitori Kawashiro appeared at the Terakoya and brought Kars some exciting news.

"Kars! I've finished making the Solar Energy Concentration Device! With this, you'll be able to absorb much more energy than usual very quickly! Do you want to come to my place right now?"

"Of course, right now!" This was something he had been waiting for a long time. Although he felt Sister Yuuka seemed quite fond of his childlike appearance, he still wanted to revert to his adult form. If she really didn't like it, he could always use up his energy and revert back.
