"Kars, where are you two going to play?" Cirno saw Kars and Nitori Kawashiro leaving together to see some kind of device. As she was curious about everything, she wasn't going to miss out on this.
"Do you want to come too? Hmm, that's fine. You can see me turn back into my adult form. You, too, are welcome to come, Wriggle."
"Huh? Turn into an adult?" Wriggle was immediately confused, seemingly unable to comprehend Kars's so-called transformation into an adult. "Does that mean using that Kappa's device can make you turn into an adult?"
Thinking this was the case, Wriggle became interested. She thought that if she could also grow into her adult form, she might be able to reclaim her title as the Queen of Bugs.
"That's impossible. This was made specifically for him. Unless you also have the ability to grow up just by sunbathing, it won't make any difference to you." Nitori immediately crushed Wriggle's hopes, making her instantly disappointed.
"That sounds interesting." Mystia also showed interest. This was the first time she had heard of Kars growing up by sunbathing. Soon, the entire group decided to go and see what the scene would be like.
"Let's go!" Nitori led the way, with Kars and the others following closely behind. They arrived at a well-lit area on Youkai Mountain, where various machines had been set up. In the center was a platform covered by a glass dome.
"Kars, you just need to stand inside that." This device would not only allow Kars to be exposed to concentrated light but also collect the energy that was transformed within his body. After all the instruments were properly calibrated, they waited for Kars to step in and begin.
"Okay!" Kars impatiently ran in. Once he was on the platform and the glass dome covered him, Nitori pressed the start button, and all the machines started to whir. Kars quickly felt an intense light inside the glass dome, and his body felt the same sensation as being exposed to sunlight. He also noticed that his body was absorbing much more energy than usual.
Nitori looked at all the monitors, which showed everything was normal and that the energy inside Kars was steadily and rapidly increasing. A smile spread across her face.
"We'll get that long-awaited energy very soon!"
As time passed, Kars felt his body beginning to change. His body visibly swelled, and the clothes he was wearing began to rip with an unbearable sound under the expansion. His upper garment was the first to give way, ripped apart by his bulging muscles and scattering onto the ground as rags. His strong, solid body was fully revealed to Nitori and the others. They hadn't quite registered what was happening yet.
"He's really growing up!" Wriggle exclaimed, witnessing Kars rapidly developing before her eyes. She stared intently at the strong muscles he now possessed, unable to look away.
Kars was enjoying a sensation more comfortable than ever before. His entire mind, body, and spirit were experiencing intense pleasure. Nitori, seeing the instruments starting to collect energy from Kars, also became excited.
"The long-awaited energy is finally ours!!"
While Nitori was overjoyed and couldn't wait to use the energy to develop new devices, the others were more focused on Kars.
"Kars's body can glow too." Wriggle noticed a clear, bright light emerging from his growing body inside the glass dome. She didn't know why this was happening, but it looked interesting. It must be really bright at night, right? She felt like inviting Kars to test out the glowing effect at night.
It was at this moment that Kars's trousers also gave way, tearing into shreds of fabric. At that instant, Kars stood completely naked before all of them. His body, bathed in the strong light, was completely exposed for them to see clearly.
"Eek!!" Daiyousei was the first to react. Seeing Kars completely naked, she immediately covered her face, blushing intensely. Cirno, however, had no intention of looking away. She didn't understand such things. Mystia and Wriggle were completely stunned.
"Idiot! Cover yourself! Cover your private parts!" Nitori was also shocked by the sight. She yelled at Kars, who was lost in pleasurable sensations. But Kars didn't seem to hear. He instinctively spread his arms. As they touched the glass dome, the active energy within him instantly shattered it. The dome's destruction stopped the functioning instruments.
The cool breeze of Youkai Mountain blowing onto his naked body snapped Kars out of his trance, and a look of excited delight spread across his face.
"This feeling is absolutely marvelous! The sensation from this method is unexpectedly fantastic! It's utterly exhilarating!" Nitori gritted her teeth, looking at Kars, who was standing there completely naked, talking to himself.
"Hurry up and find something to wear! Why are you standing there naked, saying strange things to us! You idiot!!" Seeing him naked and without a shred of self-awareness in front of a group of girls, Nitori questioned whether she was wrong to do this in the first place. "Huh?" Kars finally snapped back to reality. He looked at his naked body and realized his situation, but there was nothing around to wear, even if he wanted to.
"How about you lend me some clothes, Nitori?"
"Don't come any closer!!" Nitori screamed even louder, completely disregarding their feelings! Don't you know how perverted it is to wave that thing around in front of girls?! And why was that idiotic fairy still staring?! Didn't she know Non-seeing was a thing?!
Finally, Nitori found a box that could temporarily be used as a cover for Kars, preventing him from swinging that thing around in front of them while completely naked.
