Chapter 266 - Episode 266:✨Unfiltered Happiness✨

Kajal's words echoed in the room like a soft bell.

"Kiara is… pregnant."

For a moment, the world fell completely silent.

Yuvaan blinked—once, twice—as if the air around him had turned too thick to breathe. His hand, still on Kiara's arm, froze. Slowly, almost fearfully, he lifted his eyes to Kajal.

"M–Mil… what did you say?" His voice was barely a whisper, trembling at the edges.

Kajal stepped closer, her expression gentle but firm.

"I said… you're going to be a father."

A tiny breath escaped him. His lips parted, but no sound came. His fingers unconsciously tightened around Kiara's hand—as if anchoring himself to reality. His throat bobbed as he swallowed, overwhelmed.

"I… I'm…" His voice cracked.

Bhoomi took a hesitant step forward, watching her son with motherly anxiety.

"Yuvaan?"

Yuvaan's eyes softened, filling—slowly, helplessly—with tears. His chest rose in a shaky breath.

"I'm… going to be a dad…" he whispered, almost to himself.

The words rolled through him like a wave—first disbelief, then shock… and finally something so raw and joyous that it almost broke him.

His knees nearly buckled.

Bhoomi rushed forward, cupping his face with trembling hands.

"Yes, my son," she whispered, her voice thick. "You are."

That broke him completely.

A sound escaped Yuvaan's chest—half laugh, half sob—and he collapsed into his mother's arms.

Bhoomi held him tight as he cried, her own tears slipping down her cheeks.

Angad turned away, wiping his eyes discreetly.

Riddhi covered her mouth, smiling through her tears.

Chandrika clasped her hands to her chest, whispering silent thank-yous to Mahadev.

After a long moment, Yuvaan pulled back, breath unsteady, eyes shining.

"I—I can't believe it," he murmured, wiping his cheeks clumsily. "I… Kiara and I… we're—"

He couldn't finish the sentence. His voice failed him again.

Slowly, reverently, Yuvaan turned back to Kiara.

She looked so peaceful… too peaceful.

Her lashes resting on her skin, her hair fanned out on the pillow, her breathing soft and steady.

He sat beside her, touching her cheek with a feather-light touch—as if afraid she'd disappear if he pressed too hard.

"Kiara…" he whispered.

A shaky smile curved his lips.

His thumb gently caressed her skin.

"We're… we're going to be parents."

His voice trembled with that word—parents—as if it carried the whole universe inside it.

He laughed softly, tears slipping again.

"You hear that? Our baby… our baby did this. Made the flowers bloom… gave everyone hope…"

His forehead dropped to her hand, his shoulders trembling.

"I need you to wake up soon," he whispered against her skin. "Please. I can't do this joy alone. I want to see your face when you find out. I want to see the way your eyes shine. I… I want to hold you while we celebrate this."

Behind him, Kajal spoke softly.

"Even without her powers, her child carries divine energy. That is why the flowers bloom, why the air feels different. The baby is healing her. Protecting her."

Yuvaan exhaled shakily, closing his eyes in relief.

Chandrika pressed her palms together.

"I'm… I'm going to be a great-grandmother," she whispered, tears glistening. "Mahadev… thank you. Thank you for blessing this house again."

The room glowed with warmth—soft petals unfolding on every surface, sunlight slipping through the curtains, carrying a gentle promise.

A quiet, sacred happiness settled over them.

And at the center of it all lay Kiara… glowing faintly, peacefully—

carrying a miracle inside her.

Meanwhile outside the mansion, the morning air was crisp, carrying the faint fragrance of blooming flowers.

Varun stepped back from the kiss—still breathless, still stunned by his own boldness. Dilruba blinked up at him, her nine fox tails slowly fading away as she returned to her human form, her cheeks flushed a soft rosy pink.

For a moment, neither spoke.

Then Varun let out a shaky laugh and gently pulled her into a warm embrace—this time slow, steady, intentional.

Dilruba's eyes widened, but she melted into the hug as if she had been waiting her whole life for it.

"A-are you sure?" she whispered against his chest, voice trembling with a mix of hope and disbelief.

Varun exhaled, his chin brushing her hair.

"I won't lie, Dilruba… this is new for me."

He paused, tightening his arms around her.

"But… I want to try. Us. Whatever this is. I want to see where it goes."

Dilruba's breath hitched.

Then, suddenly—

She squealed softly and hugged him again, this time with all the enthusiasm of a fox witch who had just been granted her biggest wish. Her arms locked around his neck, lifting him slightly off the ground.

Varun stumbled and laughed.

"Dilruba—easy! I still need to breathe!"

She pulled back just enough to look at him, her bright eyes sparkling.

"Varun… your heart," she whispered dramatically. "It's beating so fast. I think it's going to explode!"

Varun blinked, feeling his ears heat up.

He quickly cleared his throat and straightened.

"It's, uh—just morning cold," he said casually, waving his hand. "My heart's always… in shape. Very fit. Perfectly calm."

Dilruba raised a brow, smirking.

"Oh really?"

But Varun avoided her gaze, pretending to inspect a tree leaf, while his heart thundered even louder.

Dilruba giggled, stepping closer and taking his hand with a soft, affectionate squeeze.

"Don't worry, Varun. Whether your heart explodes or not… I'll fix it."

"Not helping," he muttered, but a helpless smile tugged at his lips.
