Chapter 267 - Episode 267:✨A Moment Of Happiness✨

---

Meanwhile, Varun returned to the mansion alone.

There was a strange brightness in the air—soft laughter, excited murmurs, and the faint jingling of temple bells echoing from the corridors.

Varun frowned.

This was not the mood he expected after last night's chaos.

He quickened his steps and reached Kiara and Yuvaan's room—only to see the entire family crowded inside, faces glowing with pure happiness.

"What's going on?" Varun asked, confused.

Before anyone could answer, Aakash rushed to him and grabbed his shoulders.

"We're going to be uncles!" Aakash shouted, eyes wide with excitement.

Varun blinked. "Uncles? What—who—?"

Vinod laughed, almost tearing up. "Varun, you idiot, your Chutki—"

Vikram stepped forward, his voice thick with emotion.

"Yes, Varun. Chutki is pregnant."

For a moment, Varun forgot how to breathe.

"Kiara… my Chutki… she's… she's going to have a baby?"

His voice cracked, his eyes widening as joy slowly—beautifully—bloomed across his face.

Bhoomi nodded, smiling through tears.

"Yes, Varun. Kiara is expecting."

A laugh burst from Varun—a raw, real, overwhelmed laugh.

He pressed both hands to his mouth, then lowered them, eyes shining.

"My Chutki… is going to be a mother…"

He looked toward Kiara on the bed, glowing in her unconscious state.

"And I'm… I'm going to be a mama ka bhai…"

The family chuckled.

But Varun didn't care.

He moved closer to the bed, emotion tightening his chest.

"Chutki… you did it," he whispered.

"I'm so happy for you."

His eyes filled, but he wiped them quickly, grinning wide through the tears.

For the first time in a long while, Varun felt pure joy radiating through his entire being.

A few moments later, Kiara's eyelashes fluttered.

Her fingers twitched against the bedsheet, and she finally opened her eyes, breathing in sharply as awareness rushed back.

Yuvaan, who had been sitting at her bedside with unwavering focus, leaned forward immediately.

"Kiara?" his voice cracked with relief.

She turned to him, blinking. "Yuvaan…"

He moved closer. "You're awake."

A thousand emotions passed through his eyes—joy, fear, gratitude, something deeper.

Kiara looked around suddenly.

The room was empty. No family. No noise.

Only the silent glow of morning light.

"Where is everyone?" she asked quickly, anxiety building.

She remembered Dev draining their life force—her heart clenched. "Yuvaan… are they—"

"They're fine," Yuvaan assured, gently cupping her face.

"They're safe. Everyone's safe, Kiara."

She inhaled shakily, then threw her arms around him—soft, tight, desperate.

"I thought… I thought I lost you too," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Yuvaan closed his eyes, holding her just as tightly, breathing her in as if grounding himself.

"You didn't. I'm right here."

After a moment, he pulled back slightly.

"How are you feeling?"

Kiara nodded quickly. "I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" he asked softly, studying her too closely.

Kiara frowned. "Why are you asking so keenly? Is it because I lost my powers?"

She shrugged lightly. "I'm cool with it, Yuvaan. Really."

"No," he whispered. "It's not about that."

She tilted her head. "Then what is it? Nothing's wrong with me."

Her hand drifted unconsciously to her stomach.

"But there's this… one strange thing."

Yuvaan's breath hitched.

Kiara blinked, confused by his reaction.

"I don't know," she continued slowly. "I just… feel whole. Like something inside me is new. Alive."

She laughed awkwardly.

"I know it sounds like nonsense. I can even… I don't know… hear a heartbeat? It's weird. Forget it. Let's go meet the family."

She pushed the blanket aside.

Instantly, Yuvaan jumped to help her down.

"Careful," he murmured, holding her waist as if she were made of glass. "If you feel dizzy, I'll carry you."

Kiara stared at him. "Yuvaan, I'm not an egg. I won't crack just by walking. Why are you behaving like this?"

Her brows drew together. "You're being extremely… loving today."

"So you're trying to say I've never been loving?" he teased, but his voice was unusually soft.

Kiara raised a brow.

"Of course you have. But with a pinch of villainy added. Now you're acting… syrupy sweet."

Yuvaan smiled—gentle, emotional, secretive.

"Everything has changed, Kiara. Our life has changed."

"Huh? How? What changed?"

"You'll find out," he said, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Very soon."

Kiara shook her head. "Anyway, let's go. It's strange—I lost my powers, so I should feel weak. But I feel… lively."

"Don't worry," Yuvaan said, guiding her with careful steps toward the door.

"You'll understand soon enough."

He intertwined his fingers with hers and led her slowly out of the room, heading toward the stairs—toward the moment her entire world was about to shift.

Yuvaan guided Kiara gently down the final step, his hand warm around hers.

"Just a little further," he murmured.

Kiara frowned. "Yuvaan, why are you smiling like that—"

They reached the living room.

Kiara froze.

The entire hall was decorated—soft pastel balloons, flowers, ribbons, and a huge banner strung across the wall:

"SOON TO BE MOM & DAD."

Before she could breathe, everyone burst their confetti cones—soft petals and glittery bits showering over her like blessings.

Kiara's eyes widened.

Her lips parted.

Her breath caught in her throat.

Slowly, she turned—very slowly—toward Yuvaan.

Tears welled instantly.

"Yuvaan…" her voice was barely a whisper. "Are we… are we… pregnant?"

Her voice broke on the last word.

Yuvaan stepped forward, holding her face with trembling hands.

"Yes," he said softly, his voice thick.

"We are. We're pregnant."

Kiara covered her mouth with her hands, tears streaming freely.

Her other hand instinctively, almost fearfully, moved to her stomach.

"I… I'm going to be a mother?" she whispered, her voice cracking with disbelief and joy.

Yuvaan nodded, eyes shining.

"And I'm going to be a father."

Kiara sobbed happily, shaking her head in wonder as if the moment was too magical to believe.

Yuvaan slowly went down on his knees before her, placing his hands gently on her waist.

Then he leaned in… and pressed his ear to her stomach.

He closed his eyes.

"Hi, little one," he whispered.

A tear escaped him too.

Kiara's fingers slid into his hair, holding him tenderly as she cried and laughed at the same time.

He stood up and pulled her into his arms—tight, protective, overwhelmed.

Kiara hugged him just as tightly, burying her face in his shoulder.

Around them, the family erupted into cheers—joyful, emotional, relieved.

Bhoomi wiped tears. Chandrika folded her hands to Bholenath. Vikram smiled with fatherly pride. Aakash, Angad, Riddhi and the others danced around the couple, singing, clapping, celebrating the miracle.

The room filled with music, laughter, and blessings.

But in the center of it all—

Kiara and Yuvaan stayed in their embrace, swaying gently, holding the new life between them, their love glowing brighter than ever.
