Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Piccolo with a Combat Power of Nearly 8,000 Points

After assessing Nappa and Vegeta's fighting abilities, Goku looked at everyone else to gauge how strong they had become after a year of training.

Krillin: Combat Power 2,070

Yamcha: Combat Power 1,760

Gohan: Combat Power 810

Tien Shinhan: Combat Power 2,450

Piccolo: Combat Power 7,608

Under heavy clothing suppression: Combat Power 6,208

Seeing Piccolo's true combat power, Goku was slightly surprised. A year ago, Piccolo's power was just over 1,600, but now it was close to 8,000.

Goku thought, "My strength far surpasses Piccolo's, which must put huge pressure on him. No wonder he trained so hard."

Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and Yamcha were also stronger than a year ago, though not nearly as much as Piccolo.

As for Gohan, Goku didn't care about his exact combat power—he only wanted him safe and capable of self-defense.

Vegeta crossed his arms confidently. "How about a one-on-one duel between you and the Namekian?"

"Stop talking nonsense and start fighting!" Piccolo retorted impatiently, clenching his fists.

Krillin smiled. "Forget it, Piccolo. One-on-one is fine, right, Goku?"

"Well! Let's see how they do! It's a good chance to test the results of your training this year," Goku thought, approving.

Nappa sneered. "Kakarot, you're fighting ability is the weakest here, yet you still speak arrogantly? Are you tired of living?"

"Don't talk about my dad! He's very powerful," Gohan shouted, unable to contain himself.

Vegeta pointed to one of the Saibamen. "You go first."

The Saibaman stepped forward.

As Krillin prepared to act, Tien Shinhan stopped him. "Let me test these guys first."

"Okay," Krillin agreed.

The Saibaman attacked, spraying acid from its head, but Tien Shinhan dodged effortlessly.

Then Tien launched a rapid combo. The Saibaman couldn't resist and was thrown heavily to the ground.

Nappa was stunned. "How… how could he be defeated so easily? That Saibaman's combat power is 1,200!"

"Haha," Vegeta said indifferently, "Their combat power increases instantly during battle."

"I see… so Earthlings can control their fighting power," Nappa said, understanding.

Vegeta raised his hand and blasted the fallen Saibaman away.

Krillin muttered, "What a cruel Saiyan… killing his own kind without hesitation."

"Let me take over!" Yamcha stepped forward. "I'll handle the remaining five in one go."

Goku observed. In the original story, Yamcha was killed by a Saibaman, but now, with a combat power of 1,760, he would not struggle.

Yamcha attacked first, disappearing along with the Saibaman.

The two engaged in a high-speed fight. Within thirty seconds, the Saibaman was knocked out and rolled dozens of meters before stopping.

It jumped to fight back but was ultimately destroyed by Yamcha's energy blast.

Nappa was shocked. "No way… the Saibaman lost again?"

"Not surprising," Vegeta said, watching with his detector. "Yamcha's combat power rose instantly from 1,229 to over 1,700 during battle."

Nappa asked Vegeta, "So the remaining four Saibamen can't win either?"

"Probably not," Vegeta replied. "These fighters are beyond what Saibamen can handle."

After a brief pause, Vegeta said, "Since they're useless, there's no point keeping them alive. Destroy them."

The remaining four Saibamen were blasted away.

This cruel tactic angered the Z Warriors, but Nappa didn't dare question Vegeta.

Instead, he said, "Prince Vegeta, leave Kakarot, the Namekian, and the humans to me."

"Yeah," Vegeta replied simply.

Nappa grinned. "Then let me be your opponent."

Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Gyoza, and Gohan assumed fighting stances. Piccolo remained calm throughout.

Goku, on the other hand, casually watched the birds flying in the sky, paying no attention to the scene.

After hearing Nappa's cry, he said, "I'll sit aside and leave this to you," and found a stone to watch the battle.

The Saiyans underestimated Goku completely.

Krillin sighed. "Goku, you're too relaxed."

"When it's his turn, he'll naturally step in," Piccolo reminded them.

Everyone nodded in agreement. Piccolo was right.
