Orochimaru hadn't been out of Konoha Hospital for long before he ran into Sarutobi Hiruzen, who was on his way there, and said to him.
"He's gone?"
"That's right, and he begged me for half a day. Compared to Konoha, Jiraiya chose Mount Myoboku."
Upon hearing this, Sarutobi Hiruzen's face changed, immediately guessing that Jiraiya's departure wasn't sanctioned by the village but was a solo escape from the Anbu, possibly heading to Mount Myoboku.
What is that idiot thinking? Doesn't he know that Uchiha Yoichi has the Flying Thunder God Jutsu?
Jiraiya is doomed!
Sarutobi Hiruzen, boiling with anger, said, "Orochimaru, you knew that Jiraiya would die doing this, why...."
"Teacher Sarutobi, if it were you, you would also help Jiraiya remove the seal."
Orochimaru chuckled slightly, then continued, "If you were tough enough not to help Jiraiya lift the seal, wouldn't that be the same as killing him?"

After completing all this, Uchiha Yoichi's clone dissolved and disappeared from Mount Myoboku; no one noticed, except maybe the Great Toad Sage, but it was currently asleep, possibly foreseeing the future or communicating with the Ninja World.
"Fukasaku Sage, Shima Sage...."
Jiraiya knocked on the door and, seeing Fukasaku and Shima, wore a complex expression, not even referring to them as usual by elders' nicknames.
"Little Jiraiya, why have you come? What happened?"
Shima Sage didn't notice the oddity in Jiraiya's address, opened the door to invite him in, "You seem injured? Why rush to Mount Myoboku suddenly..."
"Two Sages, I was just possessed by the Sage of Six Paths; he used my body to attack the village's Fifth Generation Hokage, was this the work of Mount Myoboku?"
Jiraiya cut to the chase, speaking directly.
Upon hearing Jiraiya's words, Fukasaku and Shima, their small toad faces bore shock, Fukasaku couldn't believe it; although the Great Toad Sage's slight interference with Jiraiya was known, who would've thought it intended for the Sage of Six Paths to return to the Ninja World....
"Little Jiraiya, what nonsense are you saying!!"
Shima Sage, knowing nothing of this, angrily retorted upon hearing Jiraiya, "Mount Myoboku would never do such a thing, who told you...."
"Alright, old lady, stop speaking for now."
Fukasaku Sage interrupted Shima and said to Jiraiya, "Come with me, only the Great Elder can clarify this matter."
Jiraiya, noting Fukasaku Sage didn't deny it, felt even worse but still followed him to the Great Toad Sage.
Upon exiting, he inadvertently encountered Bunta eavesdropping. Although Jiraiya felt troubled, he still greeted his long-time comrade, "Sorry Bunta, I'll come find you later..."
