Chapter 17 - Introduction + GOALS

"Hey there. I'm KATSEYE, though some call me Riki. I'm the one responsible for all this—" I gestured vaguely at the screen "—madness you've been reading. Yoichi's Hero Academia. Bit of a wild ride so far, isn't it?"

I stretched, joints popping as I rotated my shoulders.

"First off, I want to thank you for sticking with this story. Fifteen chapters in and our boy Yoichi has already been thrown off a cliff, participated in a canon event, and is now being interrogated about his 'type' before he's even properly introduced himself. Standard anime protagonist stuff, really."

I smirked, picking up my empty mug and staring into it disappointedly.

"I've been having a blast writing this fusion of isekai chaos and My Hero Academia's world. The whole 'what if an amoral, possibly criminal dude from our world ended up in MHA with a broken quirk and dubious intentions' thing is just too fun to pass up. And based on what I've seen, you all seem to be enjoying it too."

Standing up, I walked over to my coffee machine and pressed a few buttons, the device gurgling to life.

"Now, about the schedule. I've been dropping chapters daily, which is... well, let's just say sleep has become optional. But here's the deal—I'm doing this for Fanfic Fiesta, and I want to make it worth your while."

The coffee machine beeped, and I grabbed the fresh mug, inhaling the aroma with appreciation.

"For each 300 powerstones the story gets, I'll drop an additional chapter. And yes, this can stack up to seven extra chapters per week. So theoretically, if you all go absolutely wild with support, you could get fourteen chapters in a single week. Bit excessive? Maybe. Am I going to regret offering this? Almost certainly."

I took a sip of the coffee, wincing at the temperature but pressing on.

"But the madness doesn't stop there. I've got a special challenge for just the first week of November. I'm also writing a story called Demon Seer for the Rising Stars challenge. Think Jujutsu Kaisen meets Chainsaw Man, but with my own twisted spin on things. If that story can reach 10 real five-star reviews by the end of this week, I'll do a mass release of 10 chapters of Yoichi's Hero Academia. Ten. All at once."

Settling back into my chair, I set the coffee down and leaned toward you conspiratorially.

"Between you and me, I'm particularly proud of how the training arc with Kuro turned out. There's something about a drunk, traumatized martial arts master that just speaks to me on a spiritual level."

My phone buzzed with a notification, and I checked it briefly.

"So that's where we stand. Daily chapters guaranteed, with the potential for a whole lot more if you're feeling generous with those powerstones. And remember the special challenge—10 real five-star reviews on Demon Seer equals 10 chapters of Yoichi dropped all at once."

I raised my coffee mug in a toast.

"Again, thank you for reading. Seriously. As a writer, there's nothing more rewarding than knowing people are enjoying the weird stuff that comes out of my brain at 3 AM while I'm hopped up on caffeine."

"Remember to stay Plus Ultra, because our boy Yoichi certainly isn't. He's more in the 'Plus Whatever Gets Me Ahead' camp, which honestly makes him much more fun to write."

I glanced at my watch.

"Now, I should probably get back to writing the next chapter before my editor sends another threatening text. I think there's a practical exam that needs my attention."
