Chapter 13 - CHAPTER 13: SILVER REALM LEVEL 2 AND THE FIRST SIGNS OF COMPETITION

Agois was at a critical point; the barrier in front of the 2nd meridian had begun to crack. Without thinking, Agois took out a nourishing elixir and drank it. The incoming surge of energy rapidly struck the barrier. Cracks began to spread. As the Nel Energy flowed towards the barrier, the barrier could no longer hold the energy. With the sound of a break, the barrier completely vanished, and a large surge of energy flowed into the second meridian. Agois had now reached the 2nd Level of the Silver Realm. This rate of cultivation was truly incredible; only one month had passed since he became a Cultivator.

When Agois opened his eyes, the sun had already risen. Agois excitedly stood up and immediately began to sense his energy. His Nel energy capacity had greatly increased, and he could feel his strength had also increased significantly. He immediately tested the Fire Arrow skill; he could now easily control 10 arrows.

New students were arriving at the Inner Sect tomorrow. There were strong ones among them, but Agois was no longer worried; his self-confidence was complete. He had made all his preparations and had advanced significantly even in his martial skills. He could make a good debut now. He would not embarrass his Master; on the contrary, he would make him proud.

It was time for some relaxation. He immediately went for a nice bath and hot spring session. Then he thought of eating a good meal in the dining hall and visiting his Master. After bathing, he left his house, went to the dining hall, and ate his nice and satisfying meal. Then he set off towards the Spirit Mountain to go to his Master's courtyard. The Spirit Mountain was behind the sect complexes. As Agois walked, he saw Elder Ren with another Elder. Agois immediately walked towards them; Elder Ren had already seen Agois. Agois immediately said, "Greetings to the Elders," respectfully. He no longer knelt or bowed as before; he had understood the sect hierarchy.

Elder Ren smiled and immediately introduced Agois to Elder Dura next to him. But as he introduced Agois, he remembered that yesterday Elder Senfu had told him with pride and mockery that Agois was now his student; Agois had accepted Elder Fu as his Master. Well, what was done was done. He told Elder Dura next to him, "This is Agois, Elder Senfu's new student," with jealousy.

Elder Dura immediately looked at Agois with interest. Elder Fu hadn't taken a student for a long time, and now this young boy was his new student. He must be talented; a new talent had joined their sect. Reaching the 2nd Level of the Silver Realm at this age was indeed admirable, but he hoped he hadn't used Realm-Breaking Elixirs like Meridian-Breaking Elixirs, he thought. But he immediately said, "Impressive young man," and then couldn't find words to continue. If the reason for his rapid cultivation was what he suspected, he wanted to advise Agois, but that old man was Agois's Master, and it wouldn't be right to say anything, nor would he dare.

Elder Ren understood Elder Dura's thoughts. He might have thought the same if Agois hadn't started cultivating under his supervision. He had seen it; Agois reached the peak of the 1st meridian as soon as he started cultivating, and reaching the 2nd meridian with Elder Fu's guidance and support until now was normal and natural.

He immediately asked Agois, "Are you going to Elder Fu's place?"

Agois affirmed. Elder Ren turned to Elder Dura with an apologetic expression, "I will accompany you another time, Elder Dura. Since Agois is new to the sect, he doesn't know the Spirit Mountain, and I don't want him to accidentally cause trouble. I also have something important to tell Elder Fu."

Elder Dura said, "Don't worry, Elder Ren, you can come for tea another time. You guide this young man." Elder Dura was offended but didn't mind; his goal was already to get closer to this rising star.

After saying goodbye to Elder Dura, Elder Ren took Agois to Elder Fu's place on the Spirit Mountain. When they arrived at the entrance of the Spirit Mountain, the guards respectfully opened the way when they saw Elder Ren. Elder Ren and Agois set off towards the peak of the mountain. They came to the gate of a large courtyard. Since arriving at the Spirit Mountain, Agois felt the intense Nel Energy in the air; it was much more abundant than in other parts of the sect. The scenery and views here were also much more ethereal and beautiful. The courtyard gate opened, and Agois and Elder Ren entered. Elder Senfu was lying reclined on his lounge chair in the garden. Seeing Agois and Elder Ren arrive, he immediately got up.

Seeing Agois with Elder Ren, he immediately worried but didn't show it. When Agois said, "Disciple greets Master. I came here to show my Master my status," Elder Senfu was relieved. He had thought that brat Ren had stolen his student. He began to examine Agois carefully. The brat had opened the 2nd meridian; this speed was a bit too fast, but he immediately called him over. Even though he didn't think there would be a problem with his foundation, he still had to act like a Master, didn't he? He pressed his hand on his wrist to check his condition, and as he predicted, his meridians were perfectly solid, and his energy was vibrant and strong.

He was even more pleased with this student. "Well done, well done. Your progress is very fast. Be more careful and stable from now on," he said, laughing boastfully and looking provocatively at Elder Ren. This was the look that said, "You can't steal a student from this old man."

Elder Ren couldn't stand this old man's arrogant expression, but he had come here to get rid of Elder Dura anyway. "Hey, you Master and student talk, I have things to do," he said and left. Elder Fu smiled triumphantly. Agois, on the other hand, didn't understand or care about these small expressions.

Sighing immediately, he told his Master that he didn't have a spiritual artifact, with a sad and longing expression.

Elder Senfu was annoyed and smiled mockingly when he realized that the brat came here not to see him but for a spiritual artifact. But remembering that Agois was now his student, he hadn't given him a proper gift yet. Well, he had already prepared a spiritual artifact for the brat. He immediately took out a sword from his ring. Agois was excited to see the sword. This sword must be a spiritual artifact; the sword had a jade hilt, and blue runes were engraved on the blade. Agois was sure this was a spiritual artifact. He already had a sword his father gave him, but that sword was a mortal and ordinary one. Agois would keep the sword his father gifted; it was valuable to him as his father's gift. Maybe he could modify the sword someday when he became stronger, but that was a plan for the future.

Elder Senfu said, "This is a spiritual sword. Spiritual Artifacts are divided into 5 levels. The one in your hand is a Peak First-Level spiritual sword. It may not be extraordinary, but it is entirely sufficient for your level."

When Agois heard the levels of spiritual artifacts, he felt even more how wonderful and mystical this world was; there were even very powerful tools and objects. It immediately came to his mind, "Master, the ship you brought us to the sect with was also a spiritual artifact, wasn't it?" he asked.

Elder Senfu laughed, "Brat, are you coveting my ship? It is my beloved; don't even think about it! It's a 3rd Mid-Level Moon Ship. If you want something like that, you must put in your own effort. When you are strong and rich enough, you have a chance. Hahaha!" he said and laughed loudly.

Agois was embarrassed. He had only been curious about its level, but it would be a lie to say he didn't like the ship; he secretly wanted it, but he had to acquire something like that himself; it would be more valuable and enjoyable then. He clenched his fists; one day, he would possess the best of everything.

He immediately took the sword and said to his Master, "Thank you for your gift, Master," with joy.

Elder Senfu smiled proudly, "It's nothing important. Work harder; you can obtain much better things," he said.

"Master is wise, I will definitely become stronger," Agois said excitedly.

Before dismissing Agois, Elder Senfu said, "New brats are coming tomorrow. The sect will first give you and them a one-year course. Think of it as a general culture lesson about this world. And tomorrow everyone will know that you are my student. Don't embarrass me, brat," he said, half-jokingly.

Agois immediately said, "Disciple understands, don't worry, Master, I won't embarrass you." And as he was about to taste the beautiful fruits he saw on the table, Elder Senfu said, "Go on, brat, take those Spirit Fruits too and leave. Don't interrupt my rest any further."

Agois shamelessly took all the Spirit Fruits immediately and said, "I'm leaving, Master, have a good rest."

He quickly took the fruits and hurried away. Behind him, Elder Senfu's mouth hung open. He had offered out of courtesy, hoping the brat would take one or two, but the shameless brat took them all. He immediately smiled mockingly inside, thinking, "What a shameless brat."

As Agois descended the mountain, he saw other large courtyards; so, the Elders resided here. He would also be an Elder one day, or even go further. Although he didn't know what they were called after Elder in the sect, he had heard of the Grand Elder.

Agois had descended the mountain and met Plump Lou while returning to his courtyard. "Senior Brother Lou, where are you going?" he asked.

"Ah, it's Little Brother Agois. We're going on a new mission, and I'm going to meet Senior Sister Yu and Brother Fude," Plump Lou said.

Agois immediately asked, "Is the mission dangerous, Senior Brother?"

"Not too much, don't worry. Anyway, see you later. They are waiting for me, and Sister Yu might get angry if I'm late," he said and hurried away nervously.

Agois was thoughtful; when would he be able to go on missions, earn money, see this world better, and embark on adventures? Agois returned to his courtyard and began practicing martial arts. The sun quickly set, and the next day had already arrived. Agois opened his eyes because someone was knocking on his door. He quickly composed himself and opened the door. A young uniformed disciple saw Agois and said, "The newcomers are gathering in the square. You are also expected, let's go." Agois nodded understandingly, immediately left the house, and went to the square together. When Agois arrived at the square, more than 50 people were gathered. They were all about the same height and build as Agois, and in the same age group. Agois pulled aside and waited without talking to anyone. Soon, the other newcomers arrived.

In total, there were about 100 people, including Agois, who were promoted to the Inner Sect this time. About 20 to 30 of them were older than Agois and the others because they had been promoted from the Outer Sect. The others, like Agois, were new to the sect but had been promoted directly to the Inner Sect due to their talent and powerful backgrounds.

Everyone had arrived, and immediately afterward, Elders who appeared suddenly came to the platform above the square. Elder Senfu was among them. At the very front was an authoritative, energetic, white-haired and white-bearded old man radiating a powerful aura.

The Elder at the front looked at the youths in the square and was satisfied. These youths looked talented and courageous; they were the sprouts and the future of the sect.

He immediately cleared his throat, stopping the whispers in the square. And with his loud and prominent voice, he began to speak, "It is good to be young. You are all full of energy, you can't stand still, I feel it, but young ones, you must also learn to be patient. Well, you will learn with time. First, let me introduce myself: I am Hall Loga, the 1st Elder. You can call me Elder Hall. Elder Senfu next to me was my predecessor, and he is retired now. And these are 5th Elder Hada, 8th Elder Gan, and 9th Elder Enke. Elder Hada, Elder Gan, and Elder Enke will be your instructors for the next year. They will answer your questions and clear your doubts about this world and cultivation, quickly adapting you to this new world. There will be advanced training afterward, but that will depend on whether you have the talent. Anyway, for now, you will be busy with your sect registration, settlement, and other matters. Consider this speech and gathering a symbolic ceremony. This place is now your new home, remember that," he said and finished his speech.

Immediately after, Elder Senfu cleared his throat and began to speak, "Ahem, ahem, I also have a student among you. His name is Agois Rendelf," he said. He smiled shamelessly, looking at Agois. As he said this, everyone followed Elder Senfu's gaze and saw Agois. Since Agois was slightly separate from the crowd, they immediately noticed him. The Elders on the platform looked with interest.

Agois's peers in the square looked with contempt, some with provocation, and some with a sense of competition. On the platform, Elder Hall looked at Elder Senfu and asked with interest, "I thought you wouldn't take a student again, old man. This child must be very talented, right?"

Elder Senfu immediately sighed, "Actually, his talent is not bad, yes, but there are many people in the sect with 4-Star talent. What interests me in this young man is his intelligence and maturity. You know, the stronger the talent, the greater the arrogance and pride it brings. My last student, Field, you know," he said, not continuing. His expression was sad.

Elder Hall knew, of course. Seeing the shameless old man saddened, he sighed and changed the subject. "In this world, talent determines the lower limit, but the upper limit is beyond talent. We all know that. So, this young man can create miracles and reach the realm his Master couldn't," he said.

Hearing this, Elder Senfu thought of the realm he longed for, but he didn't expect that much from this brat; it was enough for him to live long and well.

The 1st Elder immediately looked at the square and got to the point, "Yes, youths, you can socialize later. I welcome you to the sect, and after you complete your sect registration and settlement, be at the Training Complex tomorrow, all of you. That is all. Someone will attend to you shortly," he said and left with the other Elders.

A group of Elders and officials were directing the newcomers in the square. Agois had already completed these formalities, so as he was about to turn to leave, someone called out to him, "Agois Rendelf, is that right? You just entered the sect, and you are already an Elder's student. You are worthy to follow Young Master Crom," said a thin but elegantly dressed boy in luxurious clothes with arrogance. "Young Master is calling you, come with me."

Agois was surprised. What was this? They were all students in the same sect, so why should they serve each other? And it was offered to him; he had to be "worthy." Agois struggled to hold back his laughter. Becoming serious, he said, "I'm not interested." As he turned to leave, a hand was placed on his shoulder to prevent him from leaving. This was the thin youth, Dol.

Dol was angry. This boy had rejected his Young Master; he himself had come to invite him. Did he still want to arrogantly refuse and leave?

Agois was angry, "Take your hand off or you won't be able to use it forever," he said.

Hearing this, Dol became even angrier and began to release his aura. Yes, Dol had also become a Cultivator like Agois; he was still in the middle of the 1st Level of the Silver Realm, but he was trying to order Agois around.

Agois also released his powerful aura. The boy instantly flew back 5 meters. He looked at Agois in disbelief: 2nd Level of the Silver Realm! He was at the 2nd Level, just like his Young Master. Now it was understood why he was an Elder's student.

In the distance, Young Master Crom, who had dark blue hair, blue eyes, and impossibly handsome facial features, watched this scene with interest. His long hair was flying in the wind. He wasn't too surprised, actually. He came from a very powerful family, and they had told him there were many geniuses in the sect, so he agreed to join the sect. But Agois hadn't met his expectations; he was only at the beginning of the 2nd Level. He was not a rival yet. Without caring further, he turned around and left.

Agois immediately left the area because some Elders were looking at him.
