I jumped to the last day of junior year, I just wanted to skip the funeral and everything after that because I didn't really want to go through all that especially after talking with grandpa that day. Anyways the last day of school is really nothing, just an elective class where we do nothing and football which has no final just us doing our maxes and chilling in the film room.
In the film room I'm texting Alexa who's in her school paper class.
"Hey"
"Heyyy"
"What you doing after school?"
"Hmmm nothing why what's up?"
"You want to hang out?"
"Of course 😁 what do you want to do?"
"Well I wanted to go to my house first and then after that we can make plans"
"Oooooo your house 👀"
"Calm down it's nothing like that"
"Hmmm ok 😏 well what are we doing at your place?"
"You'll see, meet me by my car after this period"
"Alright see you soon"
Dre was watching me text her the whole time
"Ooooh is today the day?"
"What you talking about?"
"I mean you're going to ask out Alexa right?"
"Too obvious?"
"Just a little but it seems like she doesn't have a clue, she was thinking that yall were bout to smash"
"Oh yeah I caught that" we both laugh
"Aye but listen bruh, after everything you've been through you deserve some happiness"
"Thanks man"
"And some pussy but take things slow"
"I'll keep that in mind"
The bell rings and I get my stuff ready and head to the parking lot where Alexa is waiting by my car
"What took you so long?"
"The bell rang like ten minutes ago"
"Ten minutes too long"
"I had to get my stuff"
"You're slow as hell"
"Whatever just get in the car"
We both laugh as we get in the car and drive to my house. We get to my house and head up to my room, she jumps on my bed and makes herself comfortable.
"Yeah just make yourself at home"
"Oh I will… your bed is pretty soft"
"Yeah it's nice"
"Sooo why did you want to come to your house first?"
"Well I wanted to change and I needed to talk to you"
"Hmm ok"
"Alright soooo… damn this is kinda awkward"
She laughs
"It's alright take your time"
"Alright so ummm ever since that night at Disneyland we've kinda been together but not together if that makes sense"
"Hmmm kinda but keep going"
"Well I just want to know how you feel about me?"
"Well… I do like you or else I wouldn't have held your hand first or kissed you that night. How do you feel about me?"
"I think it's pretty obvious.. I actually wanted to have this conversation a couple months back but then everything happened"
"Oh yeah, that was a rough stretch and I tried to be there for you as much as I could"
"Yeah and I appreciate that. So what I'm pretty much saying is… want to make this exclusive?"
"So you're asking me to be your girlfriend?"
"Hmmm yeah, yeah that's what I'm asking"
she smirks and comes close and gives me a quick kiss
"Is that a yes?"
"Well obviously, what took you so fucking long!"
"Aye give me a break we both been busy"
"Mmmhmm sure, what the bitches you were fucking"
"Hmmm let me think I forgot their names it's been so many"
We both laugh
"You're a dick!"
"I've heard that before"
"Oh I bet… so where we going tonight?"
"You pick"
"Hmmm movies?"
"I'm down, what movie?"
"That new Spider-Man is out, I've been wanting to go watch that one"
"I'm down, let's go"
We head out on our movie date and after get some frozen yogurt. On the way home Alexa asks me a question
"So… babe"
"You hesitated to call me that"
"Well yeah it's going to take me getting used to, I'm used to calling you other names"
"It's alright. What's up?"
"Is it cool if I spend the night?"
"Damn that fast, ask your parents?"
"Already did and they said yes"
"Planning ahead I see"
"Always"
"Well my parents are on vacation and my brother is at a friends house so why not"
"Yayyy"
"Someone's excited"
"Well yeah, it's the first time I get to spend the night at your house"
Yeah true, don't you need some extra clothes?"
"I can just wear one of your shirts, im pretty sure it'll be big and long enough to cover my underwear"
"Hmmm yeah you are pretty short"
"Woooow that's disrespectful"
"I like it though"
"Yeah you better"
We finally get back to the house and head up to my room. I turn on the tv and put on a movie and change into some more comfortable clothes. Alexa looks at me and speaks up
"Sooo can I get a shirt?"
"Yeah I got you"
I hand her one of my shirts and she goes to the bathroom and changes, I lay in bed and wait for her to come out. She walks back into the room with my shirt almost reach her knees
"How do I look?"
She says with a pose
"You look good"
"Thank you I try"
She gets in bed next to me and watch movies together until we both doze off to sleep, tired from the last day and an eventful day.
