Chapter 1 - Ch-1: Gehrman sparrow

"Maan, I wish I had aura like gehrman sparrow, dude is a walking aura machine" Raizel murmured to himself while crossing the road.

But we are taught our entire lives to look carefully on both sides while crossing the roads for a reason, which this idiot didn't seem to understand.

So what else The Almighty truck-kun took it personally did his job with full loyalty and turned his ordinary mundane life into isekai.

Raizel didn't even realise what hit him, all he felt was a jolt of pain across his entire body as though nearly every bone in his body had been crushed and maybe it did.

Then his vision went dark like tide and before he knew it, he was already dead or so he was supposed but the Almighty truck-kun is famous for a reason.

With the sound of a large bell ringing in his head, Raizel opened his eyes only to be left speechless on what was infront of his eyes.

Instead of a city full of pollution and constant noise of vehicles, he saw an ocean with tides rising and lowering, he felt the cold pollution free wind on his face soothing his mind, he smelt the faint smell of salt coming from the ocean.

The chime of the bell in Raizel's head slowly faded replaced by the rhythmic crashing of waves. He blinked, trying to clear the sudden salt spray from his eyes.

Raizel looked down at himself. The cheap hoodie and worn sneakers he had been wearing while crossing the street were gone.

In their place was a dark, formal three piece suit, a stiff white collar, and a heavy, midnight black trench coat that fluttered dramatically in the sea breeze like an unpaid actor.

He extended his hands. They were encased in pristine dark leather gloves.

'No way' he thought, his heart pounding a frantic rhythm against his ribs as if it would burst out at any given moment.

He took a step towards the water's edge, the ocean acting as a dark, shifting mirror. In the reflection of the tide, an unfamiliar face stared back. He had refined, sharp features, a cold and detached expression.

The reflection wes wearing a half top hat and gold rimmed glasses. There was no mistaking it, he had seen this figure countless times in fanarts, edits and even imagined it himself.

Raizel raised a gloved hand to his chin, his mind racing. "Gehrman... Sparrow?" he muttered aloud.

The moment the name left his lips, his own voice startled him. It wasn't his voice or more like the voice of his past self.

This voice sounded low but clear, calm yet crazy, gentle but dangerous, the voice of someone who would help you get up only to shoot you in the head.

Beside him was a leather suitcase but before he could take a look inside and observe his surroundings.

He heard the faint chime of the bell he had just heard moments ago but alot clearer this time.

[You have ten seconds to ask any questions]

As soon he read the text in his own mind, questions started to form in mind but having less time he just asked the few questions that anyone would ask in his situation, not that crazy yet.

10... 9... 8...

"How am I here? What brought me into this body?" he demanded. His new voice was terrifyingly smooth, cutting through the roaring ocean wind like a sharpened blade.

His mind may not be of the gehrman sparrow but every single cell in his body was made to be gehrman sparrow.

7... 6... 5...

"What are my current capabilities? what sequence am I supposed to be at?"

4... 3... 2... 1... 0.

The text popped like a bubble inside his head, leaving him with nothing but the loud crash of waves against the rocks. Right after, a flat, mechanical voice rang out right in his skull.

[Answer 1: You died, and your total obsession with Gehrman Sparrow's 'aura' ended up acting like a homing beacon across worlds. Your soul got pulled straight into a remake of the Crazy Adventurer's body.]

[Answer 2: You're sitting at Sequence 6: Faceless right now. Also, Creeping Hunger is already on your left hand and locked to your soul.]

The voice cut off, leaving him standing there in the heavy silence.

Raizel took a slow breath, pushing up his gold-rimmed glasses with a gloved finger.

He stared down at his left hand. Underneath the neat leather glove, he could feel a creepy, human like mouth twitching right in the middle of his palm. His mind went totally cold for a second, but his face didn't even twitch.

Then a realization came 'I didn't ask him where am I, did I' He just wanted to smack his face with his hand but didn't for the apperences shake, he was gehrman sparrow now gotta behave like him.

Raizel stood there the sea breeze catching the hem of his heavy trench coat. His mind was racing, trying to process everything.

'Hold on.' He thought a sense of dread appearing in his mind.

A cold sweat suddenly broke out down his back though his face remained a mask of pure detached calm.

If he was in Lord of the Mysteries knowing the names of high sequence beings let alone Outer Deities or the cosmos should have turned his brain into a writhing pile of maggots by now.

Then suddenly for some unknown reason a name appeared in his mind 'Adam' he his thought process stopped 'No no no Adam no no no Adam' no matter how many times he tried to rain his thoughts in he couldn't help but think of that name.

'Did I fu*ked up, should I just scream leodero and end everything right now' he thought

He waited for a voice to whisper into his mind, his body turning into a blob of rithing flesh but his mind was perfectly clear. No whispers, No phantom ticking, No urge to tear his own eyes out and no sign of pregnancy.

'Am I... special?' he wondered with a faint streak of disbelief cutting through his panic. Did the system give me some kind of cheat protection against corruption? Or is my mind protect from everything outside.

He couldn't just stand on a pile of rocks all day trying to figure it out. He picked up the heavy leather suitcase, adjusted his half top hat, and turned toward the massive clock tower towering over the distant streets.

Time to get some answers babe.
