Chapter 250: Loved By Everyone
Flashback – Sandy Haven
Princess Amelia sat in her room, the golden morning light spilling across the floor. Her mother was gently tying her hair.
"Mom, is it already done?" Amelia asked, fidgeting with excitement.
Her mother smiled softly, "It's a bit long, sweetie, but it looks perfect."
Amelia's face lit up. "Okay!"
"Done," her mother said, stepping back.
Amelia leaped onto her bed, the sheets puffing around her. "I'm going outside!" she exclaimed.
Her mother laughed warmly, "Alright, take care, my little star."
The princess skipped to the door, pushing it open with a THUD, the sound echoing slightly in the quiet palace corridor.
Outside, the streets were bustling, but her eyes immediately caught a small, adorable teddy bear displayed on a stand. Her fingers twitched with excitement.
A kind man standing nearby noticed her gaze. "Princess, do you want this?" he asked gently.
Amelia nodded enthusiastically, her little curls bouncing. "Hmhm!"
The man handed the money to the shopkeeper. "Please, buy this for her," he said.
The teddy bear was placed in her arms, and Amelia squealed, hugging it tightly. "Hurray! It's so cuteeee!" She spun around, twirling with joy.
In her excitement, she didn't see another passerby and bumped into him with a soft THUD, tumbling to the ground.
"Oh! Are you alright, Princess?" the man asked, offering his hand.
Amelia took it, brushing herself off, her smile radiant. "Yessy!" she laughed, clutching the teddy bear closer.
The man couldn't help but smile back, enchanted by her infectious joy as she skipped away, her laughter ringing through the sunny streets of Sandy Haven.
