"[Super Block Man] has sent you a Red Packet. Would you like to claim it?"
A message suddenly popped up on the chat screen. Molly instinctively clicked to receive it, and in the next moment, a small space appeared in her consciousness. It must be the system space mentioned in the group chat announcement.
Immediately after, a mountain of supplies materialized within the system space—dozens of ice blocks, several dozen chocolate energy bars, and a pile of dried kelp strips.
Molly was stunned by the sight. If she wasn't mistaken, those chocolate bars looked exactly like the ones she had sent out earlier.
"[Freezing Cold]: Thank you, Big Shot! Thank you so much for the supplies! You're amazing—so many supplies!"
"[Freezing Cold]: I'm not lacking materials at the moment, so maybe give priority to the others in the group first."
"[Freezing Cold]: But wait, weren't you transmigrated into a game world? They sell the same chocolate as mine there? I thought this was a specialty brand from our world—never heard of it before I transmigrated."
"[Boiling Alive] and [Starving Platform] have received the Red Packet."
"[Starving Platform]: Thanks for the supplies! You're awesome!"
"[Boiling Alive]: Thank you, boss. You're incredible!"
"[Super Block Man]: @Freezing Cold, no worries, everyone will get some. But let's focus on something else first—let's test how much loss the Red Packet function causes between our worlds."
"[Super Block Man]: How many chocolate energy bars did each of you receive? I put 100 bars in every Red Packet I sent."
When Ian received Molly's chocolate energy bar Red Packet earlier, he had already begun forming a theory about the transmission losses of group Red Packets. If only one item was sent, a portion of it might be lost or downgraded—like an ice block becoming smaller.
But based on the condition of the chocolate bars Molly had sent—both the packaging and contents still mostly intact—he guessed that sending multiple identical items would likely result in quantity loss instead.
"[Freezing Cold]: Reporting in! I got 52 bars. Some crumbs too. Big bro, did you figure something out?"
"[Boiling Alive]: I received 50 chocolate bars, but one of them is incomplete."
"[Starving Platform]: I got a bit luckier—received 53 and a half. The last one's basically half a bar."
"[Super Block Man]: Hmm… looks like the Red Packet item loss rate between our worlds is around 50%. Not great, but still acceptable."
"[Super Block Man]: @Molly As for how I got the chocolate bars—they're definitely the ones you sent me. I used a special item in my world that can consume energy to create many copies."
Ian didn't hide the fact that he had a Transmutation Tablet, though he deliberately didn't mention the Ultimate Transmutation Tablet. After all, this was a Transmigrator Group Chat, not some "Random Native Chat." Future newcomers might very well be familiar with Minecraft.
He simply trusted in Minecraft's global reach and popularity.
So since he had already decided to help these kind-hearted group members from the beginning, there was no need to hide anything.
Besides, even if someone did covet his power, so what? It's not like they could steal it.
He was the Terrifying Block Man, not some pushover made of mud.
And this transparency only applied to the folks who had gone through hard times with him already. For future members, there'd still be vetting.
[Freezing Cold]: "Wow, you really are a Big Shot! Boss, are you accepting followers?"
[Boiling Alive]: "You're too awesome! Mind if I cling to your thigh?"
[Starving Platform]: "Seriously, you're incredible. I'll hang on your back then?"
[Super Block Man]: "Ahem. No need to call me that. I just got a bit luckier than you all, that's all."
Ian couldn't help but mutter in his heart, 'Just a little bit, a tiny bit. Really, just a smidge.'
The only real difference was… he had a slight cheat. Just a tiny one. Barely even counts as cheating.
Actually, you could say his transmigration counted as an apocalypse too. After all, his whole world only had a tiny eight-cubic-meter space. Who'd dare say that wasn't the end of the world? How many "real" apocalypse worlds could beat that level of misery?
"[Super Block Man]: By the way, are you safe now? @Boiling Alive"
"[Boiling Alive]: Yes, boss. I'm safe."
"[Boiling Alive]: When I transmigrated, I found myself in a desert. The group chat detected that my world was a high-temperature apocalyptic world. But since deserts are already hot during the day, I couldn't tell if the apocalypse had started yet."
"[Boiling Alive]: I've crawled into a rock crevice where the sun doesn't hit, so I'm temporarily safe from being roasted alive."
"[Boiling Alive]: Seriously, what was the original guy thinking?! Trekking alone into a no-man's land desert? What a dumbass…"
Felix Honglu was losing his mind. Just a few hours ago, he'd woken up to the scorching sun baking his body. The next thing he knew, he was lying at the foot of a hill in the desert, aching all over.
Then came a splitting headache—he started receiving the original host's memories.
Apparently, the original had been dumped by his girlfriend during college, and in a fit of rage, decided to go on a solo hiking trip in the desert. He slipped, rolled down a slope, blacked out… and that's when Felix transmigrated over.
'This idiot really went on vacation in a hellhole like this?' he thought. And to make things worse, it wasn't just any hot place—it was a literal high-temperature apocalypse world.
Talk about bad luck stacked on bad luck.
When Felix came to, he realized the supplies the original body had packed were all gone. He stumbled around the desert for hours, dying of thirst and exhaustion, with vultures circling above like they'd already claimed him as their next meal.
Thankfully, he was pulled into the Transmigrator Group Chat—otherwise, today really would've been his last.
"[Boiling Alive]: Thank you, big Shot. Thank you, Molly. I wouldn't have made it through the day without you two."
"[Super Block Man]: Don't mention it. We might need your help in the future, too."
"[Super Block Man]: I'm curious, where were you all from before the transmigration? I'm Ian, used to work in Su City."
"[Freezing Cold]: I'm Molly, was attending university in Hang City before transmigrating. I was just about to graduate. Whoa, big shot—we were practically neighbors!"
"[Boiling Alive]: I'm Felix Hong, was a freshman at university in Spring City before this happened."
"[Starving Platform]: I'm Leo Jian, from Gan Province. I'm almost 40. I was working in the delivery industry these past few years."
"[Super Block Man]: From our earlier chats, I can already tell you're all good people. Since fate brought us together in this group, why don't we form a support team? We help each other, watch each other's backs."
"[Freezing Cold]: Sounds good! Whatever big Shot says, I'm in!"
"[Boiling Alive]: Absolutely, Boss is right! We'll follow your orders!"
"[Starving Platform]: Sounds good to me!"
"[Super Block Man]: For now, it's just the four of us. If new members join later and pass our evaluation—and if they're decent people—we can bring them into the support team too." (T/N: we are the founding members xD)
"[Freezing Cold]: You're totally right!"
"[Boiling Alive]: Sounds good!"
"[Starving Platform]: I'm in!"
