Charles' POV
I can't believe what I saw on my phone. Anita was La Morte. How is that even possible?
I made Zion unplug the screen, the video was sent to me before it was projected. I'm glad that I opened it up.
I held Anita's hands and walked out of the hall and motioned for my daughter, Elena to go ahead. I need to sort out whatever this is. Anita on the other hand couldn't lift her face and stare at me.
Once we got into a private wing of the house I placed her in front of me. "What is this?" I placed the phone on her face.
She turned her gaze to the ground. "The truth." She whispered.
"I was hoping that it was not true. I was hoping that it was not real."
"I can explain everything, please don't shut me out." She had tears streaming down her face. I don't know why I felt sorry for her. This woman has me wrapped around her little finger.
I chuckled darkly. I don't like being betrayed and it seems like she had double-crossed Elena and I.
