The snow instantly filled her collar, freezing and biting.
Yet she had no strength left to stand.
Her vision blurred.
Snowflakes fell into her eyes, but she couldn't feel the cold.
Her brain was so frozen it nearly shut down, and her awareness grew fainter.
All she heard was the sound of the wind, distant as if from another world.
Just as she was about to give in, a blinding car light suddenly shot from afar.
The light pierced through the wind and snow, like a sword of hope, cutting through the darkness.
Her heart jolted suddenly, and the remnants of her consciousness were instantly ignited.
She didn't know whose car it was.
But she knew this was her last chance.
She mustered all her strength to lift her arm, letting out a hoarse cry.
"Help... help me."
Her voice was so weak it was almost swallowed by the wind and snow.
The car door opened, light shining in against the wind.
She could only see a long shadow stretched on the ground.
