Chapter 7 - Please Help Me Cultivate!

"Sorry, sorry, I didn't test any weapons within the clan this time. I just accidentally caused a furnace explosion while making the magic sword."

With a beautiful face reminiscent of people from the Orient, Chun Kobrand is a "half-dwarf" born from a cross between Far Eastern humans and continental dwarves. Perhaps inheriting strong human blood, she has long arms and legs, reaching a height of 170cm. Dwarves are generally short-limbed, so she often attracts the jealousy of some of them.

Her work clothes were also Far Eastern in style, from her mother's Far Eastern homeland; the lower half was bright red trousers, while the upper half was simply covered by a white cloth wrapped around her chest. Her features were handsome, with black hair and red eyes. Most notably, she wore a jet-black eyepatch remarkably similar to that of the chief god Hephaestus. Unlike Hephaestus, who covered her right eye, she covered her left.

The valiant and beautiful woman before us is the Lv.5 adventurer nicknamed "Cyclops," and the leader of the Hephaestus Familia. She reigns supreme at the pinnacle of the Hephaestus Familia, a major blacksmithing faction to which many skilled blacksmiths belong, and is truly the highest level of blacksmith in Orario.

She seems to have a dark past of experimenting with new weapons within her clan and blowing up the clan's main building, for which she was severely criticized by the main god.

"The Demon Sword..." Hephaestus sighed helplessly, "Is no one hurt?"

"Don't worry, only half of the workshop was destroyed," Chun said nonchalantly.

As the name suggests, a magic sword is a sword with magical abilities. It can use the magic attached to the sword without chanting, but the number of times it can be used is limited, usually only a few times.

The woman before him withstood the explosion of the magic sword directly, yet remained completely unharmed; her Lv.5 durability was terrifying.

Speaking of which, the two dwarves that Emiya first encountered in this world, whether it was Mia or the half-dwarf Tsubaki, had nothing to do with being short. If he hadn't seen normal dwarves on the street, Emiya would have almost formed a wrong impression of the dwarf race.

"Is this the newest member of the clan? What a handsome young man!"

"She's a rising star with limitless potential in our clan," the goddess Hephaestus explained to Tsubaki, introducing Emiya's magic, Unlimited Blade Works.

Once projection magic is used, it is difficult to conceal, and since the other party is a trustworthy clan leader, there is even less need to hide it.

"What amazing magic!" Chun exclaimed. "Wait a minute, can this magic project a magic sword?"

"I haven't tried it, but it should be possible," Emiya replied after thinking for a moment.

"So that means you have an unlimited supply of magic swords, doesn't that make you completely invincible?"

"No, not to mention that the power of the projected magic sword might be reduced, magic power is also a problem." Emiya analyzed: "For example, to project a magic sword that can release fire magic, it would at least consume the equivalent of the magic power to directly release that magic."

"Even so, that's amazing!" Tsubaki praised, ruffling Emiya's hair.

The boy thought it was probably a matter of height and age; women in this world always liked to rub his head, which made him somewhat hopeful that he would grow taller quickly.

"Shirou, you should start by learning blacksmithing from Tsubaki, beginning with the basics."

"No problem, you can start by helping me out. Come to think of it, we both seem to have some Eastern blood."

Emiya nodded: "Yes, then I'll leave it to you, Commander!"

"Hmm! You didn't rush to the dungeon as soon as you received the favor. Your composure is commendable." Tsubaki nodded. "However, you're too formal, Captain. Just call me Tsubaki."

Tsubaki raised her hand high: "Shirou, let's go! Let's work with the handsome boy, oh ho!"

"Ah, is it starting already? Oh!" Shirou was forced to cheer along with the enthusiastic blacksmith sister.

"Waiter, this isn't what I ordered!" a male adventurer shouted, banging on the table.

  "What's wrong, sir?"

Liu mechanically turned around, staring at the other person, her innate arrogance and cold aura unconsciously spreading as she spoke.

"Eh! It's nothing, I'll eat now, no, I'll get out of here now."

The man, terrified by the elf, immediately went weak in the knees and fled in a panic.

A level 1 adventurer is simply too weak to withstand Ryu's aura.

  "...Ugh, I messed up again."

Because of her overly serious expression, heavy mood, and unrestrained aura, Ryu once again frightened the guests and messed things up.

The elven girl spent the entire day repeating the cycle of failure.

The elves' inherently sentimental nature became a burden, making it impossible for them to simply ignore the kindness shown to Seele and the others. If they turned and ran away, they would tarnish the reputation of the noble forest tribe.

If they didn't escape, they couldn't resist Mia's violence, and in the end, they could only accept that unreasonable job.

First, she was peeling the fruits and vegetables. Anya kindly wanted to teach her, but when she touched Ryu's hand, she couldn't control her germaphobic instincts and slapped Anya away, sending her flying and smashing a bunch of fruits and vegetables.

Then, when I went out to shop, my expressionless demeanor as I demanded a price reduction from the shopkeeper was so intimidating that I was mistaken for someone collecting protection money, and the shopkeeper almost had a heart attack.

Then came a series of failures, and the final result was

"You really are a complete loser, more so than I ever imagined..." Mia's mother said helplessly.

  "Gurgle..."

Ryu, who was "insulted" to his face, could only grit his teeth and endure it.

Something similar seems to have happened before, where she was called a "fairy who is completely useless except for fighting" by her former companions, although Ryu completely denies it.

"At this rate, not only will we not be able to repay the debt, but the amount owed will have increased significantly."

  "Gurgle..."

Liu seemed to have lost the ability to speak, and could only utter meaningless syllables.

"Speaking of which, Shirou probably won't be back tonight."

"Shirou?" Ryu looked up. "Where did he go?"

"She went to join the Hephaestus Familia. She should have succeeded by now."

Liu Wei's mouth was slightly open, looking somewhat at a loss.

So that's how it is. That child also became an adventurer...

However, the Hephaestus Familia is quite good; becoming a blacksmith shouldn't pose any danger.

I just feel a little lonely...

With mixed feelings in her heart, Ryu's trials continue.

Then, in the evening, as Ryu was cleaning the floor alone, which was covered in sauce because she hadn't held the plate properly

  "Miss Liu?"

  "Shirou?! You...you're back!"

"Yes, I specifically explained it to the main god, and after the god learned of my situation, he allowed me to stay here for the time being." Shirou scratched his head.

Xi'er, who was standing to the side, said with a smile, "Liu's words just now sounded like those of a newlywed wife."

  Wife, wife

Steam rose from Liu's head, and she instinctively wanted to run away.

"Miss Ryu!" Shirou suddenly grabbed her hand. The elven girl's slender hand was a little cold, like a ball of fine snow falling into the boy's warm palm.

Once again, she didn't dodge; her body still didn't resist Shirou.

"Miss Ryu, please help me with my cultivation!"
