Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: Please, Come Take the Test

Felicity didn't choose to stay long. After being dragged by March 7th to take a group photo, she soon left alone.

She needed to check if she had left any side effects.

Even the power released by the Stellaron had nearly devoured Jarilo-VI to the brink of destruction. Life energy released by an Emanator like her might also leave some strange aftereffects on this planet.

—Like plants becoming too lush and competing with humans for air?

The thought was a bit too far-fetched.

Felicity shook her head and naturally stepped onto the land once eroded by the Fragmentum.

Not a trace of any Fragmentum creatures could be felt here anymore. Felicity's Abundance energy had cleansed the entire Fragmentum. Though it hadn't completely eradicated the Fragmentum's influence, it was enough.

To avoid excessive impact from the Abundance energy, Felicity directly reclaimed all the remaining Abundance power, leaving the residual snow and Fragmentum influence for Belobog to resolve on its own.

She needed Belobog to exist for a longer time, so the news of her bestowed blessing could spread.

She hoped she would get a cloud-piercing arrow that could shoot through the stars as she wished.

Moving forward.

Almost reaching the outskirts of Belobog, Felicity finally saw the full picture of this land—winter had passed, but the snow and ice had not melted. Heavy snow still veiled the planet.

Even after seven hundred years of blizzards, rows of withered trees could still be seen standing outside the city. The energy Felicity had given would only make the soil fertile, not directly revitalize the planet.

"Seems like there aren't any major issues."

Felicity thought, resting her chin on her hand. It was her first time trying to save a planet, so it was natural to have some concerns.

Her gaze drifted slightly, landing on the snowy plains not far away. She could sense several life forces hiding in the snowdrifts, slowly moving. They were likely wild animals that had adapted to the harsh blizzards over the past seven hundred years, struggling to survive on these plains.

As if sensing Felicity's gaze, several white, furry figures suddenly leaped out from the snowdrifts, pouncing toward Felicity at a speed ordinary people could hardly react to—

—Then, they obediently lay down in front of her.

"Awwoo~ Awwoo~"

Their snow-white tails wagged cheerfully, just like well-trained dogs.

Felicity made no deliberate effort to conceal her aura. The rich vitality she naturally exuded would inevitably attract these creatures to linger nearby. Had anyone else witnessed this scene, they might have mistaken it for some kind of divine miracle.

She didn't notice the golden-haired head quietly peeking out from behind the snowy plains on the other side—azure eyes shimmering with a gaze full of admiration.

Felicity simply assumed it was the presence of a particularly timid creature of the snowfields and paid it no mind. After spending a good while petting the snowfield wolves to her heart's content, she left satisfied.

If she were to directly melt all the ice and snow, these animals would likely face various problems due to their inability to adapt, wouldn't they?

Better to leave the choice to the people of Belobog. The fate of Jarilo-VI should ultimately rest in their own hands.

...

The Astral Express.

Only after repeatedly confirming that March 7th and the others hadn't encountered any mishaps did Himeko finally breathe a sigh of relief.

The commotion Felicity had stirred up in the cosmos was so tremendous that Himeko had been restless for days. Even though Welt had personally gone to verify the situation, it hadn't completely eased the worry in her heart.

"The Stellaron's influence on Jarilo-VI has been largely eliminated, but Lady Felicity deliberately left a small portion behind. It's unclear what her intention is," Welt said while reviewing the detection report.

"Probably just to remind Belobog's people that this peace didn't come easily," Himeko replied, thinking of the girl who always wore a faint smile. A slight smile appeared on her face as well. Gazing through the observation car's window at the planet still blanketed in pure white snow, she remarked with some emotion, "How fortunate that she's on our side."

Welt also nodded with a sigh.

"Speaking of which, where's Felicity? Hasn't she returned yet?"

March 7th finally escaped from Himeko's side, scanning the train carriage but failing to spot Felicity anywhere.

"She went back to her room to rest after returning from Jarilo-Ⅵ. She's probably tired."

Himeko thoughtfully advised:

"Let's not disturb Felicity's rest for now."

"Oh..."

March 7th nodded somewhat regretfully. She had wanted to pull Felicity aside for a good chat about their recent adventure.

—Though it seemed like they hadn't accomplished much?

Meanwhile, in Felicity's room.

Felicity sat on the edge of her bed, eyeing the large Herta doll placed beside her with suspicion. She couldn't shake the feeling that its pose was different from before.

She outright reached out and pinched the Herta doll's cheeks, gently pulling them sideways~

*Snap!*

The Herta doll indeed moved, lightly swatting away Felicity's mischievous hands before placing them on her hips and glaring at Felicity with clear displeasure.

"Herta, when did you arrive? Ah, I love you too."

Felicity's eyes lit up.

She suddenly affectionately embraced the Herta doll, rubbing her soft cheek vigorously against the doll's face.

She never expected that the doll Herta gave her could actually connect to the real Herta. She had thought it was just a large collectible figure.

"Cut it out."

Herta pushed Felicity away with clear dislike.

"Are you done with your little travel game? I've updated the Simulated Universe. Screwllum is joining this time too. Bring that Stellaron girl along for testing."

Felicity blinked.

Although their journey to Jarilo-Ⅵ had just concluded, Felicity wasn't about to comply with Herta's request so easily. She needed to secure some benefits first...

"I'll test it if you give me a hug."

"Didn't you just hug me?"

"Forced hugs and voluntary ones feel completely different!"

Felicity stated this so matter-of-factly that even someone as sharp as Herta was momentarily at a loss for words.

After a brief pause, Herta acted anyway. She opened her arms and pulled Felicity into a quick embrace, releasing her immediately after.

Her expression remained calm as she tossed out a "Remember to come test" before immediately logging off and disappearing.

"Hey, I didn't even get to feel it properly!"

Felicity sighed with regret. Opportunities where Herta willingly hugged her were rare. She had wanted to take a photo to mercilessly tease Herta with when she returned to the space station.

She could also show it off to Asta.

Felicity shrugged and headed for the door, planning to discuss her return to the space station with Welt and the others.
