glared at him, making sure not to react to how angry he looked, even though my heart hammered so hard I prayed I wouldn't start shaking right in front of him.
"I don't owe you any explanation, Hardin."
He scoffed, a sharp, bitter laugh escaping him for a second before he lifted his gaze back to mine.
"Yeah, you don't." He shrugged, but the amusement quickly disappeared from his face. "Or maybe you're too stupid to realize I'm not asking for one."
He shook his head, his expression hardening compared to the last two minutes ago. "I'm demanding it as your future Alpha. Understood?"
I swallowed, blinking too quickly as he straightened his back and faced me fully now. "Did he touch you?" he demanded coldly.
