After breakfast, Noah, Emma, and Amy stepped outside and began walking through Azure. The streets were busy with people heading to work, opening shops and children running around. Amy pointed out different places as they went—markets, bakeries, and a few quiet streets with small homes.
"We're getting close to the lower district," Amy said as they walked down a sloping road.
"The lower district?" Emma asked.
Amy hesitated. "I think we should turn back. This part of Azure is dangerous."
"Why?" Emma looked around.
Amy lowered her voice. "Because this is where most pirates dock… and it's where the poor are forced to live. The mayor doesn't want outlaws in the center of the island, so he pushes them out here."
Noah grinned. "Sounds fun. Let's go."
Amy sighed but followed as they entered the lower district.
The atmosphere changed instantly.
The buildings were worn down, wood cracked and patched with scrap metal. The streets were narrow and crowded, filled with broken crates, torn nets, and old fishing barrels. The smell of salt, smoke, and damp wood hung heavy in the air.
People watched them from doorways and dark alleys—thin faces, tired eyes.
Emma shivered. "This place feel off…"
Noah chuckled softly. "Unless they want to die, they won't try anything stupid," he whispered.
A small barefoot girl ran up to him, clothes dusty and torn.
"Mister… can you spare some change?"
Noah crouched down and placed 10,000 berries into her hands. "Go get something to eat."
Her eyes widened. "R‑really? Thank you!" She ran off with a bright smile.
Emma watched her go. "This place needs serious help…"
Noah stopped walking. A slow grin spread across his face.
"I have an idea," he said.
Emma looked at him. "Here we go…"
"Why don't we take over the lower district?" Noah said, hands in his pockets.
Amy nearly tripped. "Take… over? Noah, I don't think that's nice…"
"Don't worry," Noah said calmly. "I'm not hurting anyone. But look around." He gestured to the ruined homes, the hungry faces, the abandoned streets.
"This place has been ignored for years. The mayor doesn't care about the people. Someone else should be in charge."
Emma crossed her arms. "You mean you."
Noah's grin widened. "Exactly. It's about time this island got a new ruler."
Amy stared at him, shocked. "Noah… you're unbelievable."
"Unbelievably right," Noah replied. "Let's fix this place. Starting today."
Noah, Emma, and Amy headed back to Riverside. They stopped at a small market and bought two carts stacked with food—vegetables, bread, fruit, meat and a few bags of rice.
Amy stared at the carts. "How are we supposed to carry all this? We don't even have a horse."
"No need for that," Noah said.
He raised his hand.
"Vector Manipulation."
The carts lifted off the ground weightless. Noah held one with a single finger, then let go. The cart stayed floating beside him.
Amy's jaw dropped. "You're unbelievable…"
Emma smirked. "You get used to it."
They walked back toward the lower district, and right before reaching the edge of town, Noah lowered the carts to the ground and grabbed the handles.
"Can't let everyone think I'm a magician," he said.
After a few minutes, they stepped into the lower district.
Noah took a deep breath and shouted, "Everyone! Free food!"
For a moment, there was silence.
Then doors burst open.
People rushed out from every direction, crowding around the carts. Children pushed forward, mothers grabbed them back, men shouted over each other.
"Calm down!" Noah yelled. "Make two lines! Men in one, women and kids in the other!"
Slowly, two long lines formed.
Noah, Emma, and Amy began handing out food. Smiles spread across tired faces. Some people trembled as they took their share.
That's when a tall man in a blue uniform walked up, his chin high, eyes full of arrogance.
"It's illegal to hand out goods without the mayor's permission," he said. "Stop at once."
Noah turned his head slowly. "Get out of here before I kill you."
The man snorted. "What can you do?"
Noah raised a single finger.
"Vector Manipulation—Gravity Push."
A shockwave burst from Noah's hand.
The man screamed as he shot straight into the sky, disappearing out of sight in seconds.
The whole lower district went silent.
Then.
Cheering erupted.
People Cheered. Some cried, clutching bags of food to their chests.
Emma looked around, smiling softly. Amy wiped at her eyes, overwhelmed by the reactions.
Noah faced the crowd.
"Don't worry," he said. "I'll save all of you."
The cheering grew louder.
