At the hospital~~~~
Chairman Hunt's Room
"Mr Hunt's vitals look more normal compared to the last time, he's now okay and can be discharged later" the doctor examining Draken's dad said.
"Thank you so much doctor" Draken replied before the doctor walked out.
Only his wife and sons were present in his room at the moment.
"Love, you finally woke up, we were all so worried about you" Draken's mom almost cried.
"I'm fine, now that my son is alive and well...Draken" his dad faintly replied.
He wasn't fully recovered yet, but seeing Draken gave him strength. David envied how his own father didn't even notice his presence. Judging by the look alone he gave him, it was clear the chairman was still not pleased with him.
"Can I have the room alone, I want to chat with Draken" Draken's dad asked both his wife and David to leave.
Draken sat down by his father's bed side...just like he always used to from childhood.
"Draken, I was so worried about you, seeing you alive and well makes me so happy" he had a genuine smile on his face.
He truly loved him.
"What had happened to you son?" He continued to ask.
If he heard the real truth, that one of his sons tried to get the other killed....would his heart be able to handle it?
His relationship with David was already bad, telling him would just break it completely, he might just disown him.
"Dad I got into an accident that almost took my life, but you don't have to worry so much someone saved me" Draken replied... remembering that day clearly when fate made him cross paths with Emma again.
"Who is that person who saved you, I must repay them well for saving your life" his dad said.
"Dad, she's an angel, she's the best thing that has ever happened to me" Draken replied.
"So, it's a woman?" His dad asked curious.
"Yes, and she's also my wife, your daughter in law" He replied.
"I don't want to hide anything from you dad, you'll always be the first person I tell everything" Draken continued to say.
"I just have only one question, Draken, are you happy in your marriage?" His dad asked.
There's nothing more a parent would want for their child than their happiness.
"Dad, I'm very happy. I love her so much....and I don't have any regrets" Draken replied...from the bottom of his heart.
"Then I can't wait to meet the woman who melted that cold heart of yours and made you fall in love" his dad joked with him.
Their relationship as father and son was admirable, they were the closest to each other.
"Dad, can I ask for a favour?" Draken asked.
"Anything" his dad replied.
"Until I bring her to you myself, can this stay between us please" Draken said.
For the fact that David wanted to get him killed to get Ouracle, if he found out about Emma and her connection to him, he'd surely do something to her just to get back at him. Hitting him, where it hurts the most.
"You can trust your old man, I won't say a word about this" he replied.
Meanwhile~~~
Outside
"What could those two be talking about, what's taking them so long?" David was anxious.
He was afraid that Draken would tell their dad the whole truth, just like he told him about his illegal activities.
Samantha and her mom happened to show up at the wrong time again. He just walked away.... but Erick was watching him.
"Mrs Hunt"
"Auntie" they both greeted Draken's mom.
"How's the chairman now?" Sam's mom asked.
"He's out of danger.. he'll be discharged soon" Draken's mom replied.
"Well now that chairman Hunt is awake, he won't mind if we discuss the alliance between our families.. through getting our children married" Sam's mom said.
"Auntie, I really want to marry Draken and become a good daughter in law, please talk to him about it" Sam continued to press the issue.
Draken's mom stood up from her seat and guided them both into the chairman's room.
"I hope we are not interrupting" she said as soon as they entered.
Draken and his dad were eating the fruits that he'd brought for him, and talking about Ouracle.
"No" Draken's dad replied.
"Someone's here to see you" she said, implying to Samantha and her mom.
Draken's mood changed the moment he saw them, he just hated them and they didn't even realize it.
Their presence irritated him.
"Chairman Hunt, we brought you some flowers and fruits to help on your quick recovery" Sam's mom said.
"Uncle, please get well soon" Sam added.
"Thank you, the both of you" he replied.
"Chairman Hunt, do you still remember before all this happened, you had arranged for my daughter and your son to get married...to form an alliance between our families" her mom got straight to the point.
"Yes I remember, Mrs Dave, but....the decision now lies in my son's hands...if he will marry your daughter, or not" Draken's dad replied.
"And I reject your daughter...I don't want to marry her"
Draken rejected Samantha openly.... without even flinching.
"But Draken..." Sam tried to say, but he cut her off.
"Don't try to press the issue further, my dad just woke up.... don't make him slip into a comma again" Draken heartlessly said.
He didn't even consider their feelings...at all.
"If you have nothing more to say, then you can get out and leave" he didn't waste any time getting them to leave.
They could fool someone else with their fake sympathy.....but not him.
He despised Emma's family for every pain they caused her and made her go through.

At Draken and Emma's house~~~~
"So this is your house, it's more like a villa to me Em, it's beautiful" Ruby said, taking a tour around the house.
"The garden, the kitchen, the bedroom...the balcony filled with jasmines, the interior decoration,"she admired the house.
Today wasn't a working day for the both of them....so she came to visit her at her house.
"I have my husband to thank for that.... he's the one who organized everything here"a replied.
"You such a cute couple...I wish I could find a husband like yours, who's willing to do anything for me...and loves me unconditionally" Ruby said...
"Let's just say, I got lucky and crossed paths with him" Emma replied.
"But Emma, you never told me the story of how you two actually met....I'm so curious to know" Ruby said..
"Then sit down and I'll tell you everything" Emma replied as they both sat on the couch in the living room.
She hugged her teddy, Abel...that was close by before she begun to tell Ruby her story with Draken.
"We met by accident...we weren't supposed to, but fate brought us together that rainy night. I picked him up...I took him to the hospital after he fell unconscious, it was all my fault...and I took his full responsibility, that's how we got married.."she continued to say.
She couldn't forget that day.
"I thought he had no family, he actually lied to me, he hid the truth about his rich family...but the way he treated me after we got married, he cared for me, he was there for me, he helped me when no one could..he saved my life.....I wanted to leave him, but his actions made me fall in love with him...I couldn't stay away from him, I couldn't leave without him... I forgave him and..I love him so much, letting him go is not an option"
Emma's story was heart whelming...Ruby felt so touched by it. It was like she was living a drama filled life....with a husband she just picked up.
"Emma that's so touching...your life is like an opera, but let me get this straight...when shall we get the good news?" Ruby suddenly asked.
"What good news?" Emma was confused.
"A baby, when are you two planning to start your own family" Ruby was more excited than her.
"We haven't had that in mind yet, he still hasn't introduced me to his parents and, I'm still trying to prove myself worthy of him" Emma replied.
"I understand your point, he's a billionaire son, has everything... while you are still trying hard to make it in life...but Emma, the world won't wait for you to prove yourself" Ruby explained her point of view.
Their life was at least peaceful for now, but it was obvious that they'd encounter some problems soon....from her family...or from his...or an enemy....
"Do you mean that I should make my relationship with Draken public?"Emma asked.
"That should be your decision Emma, yours and Draken's, I was just giving some plain advice, don't take it too seriously" Ruby replied.
Was she trying to hint at something??

Back at the hospital
Underground parking lot~~~~~
"Draken, we need to talk" Sam stood in Draken's way as he was approaching his car.
"There's nothing to talk about...I'm very busy, don't waste my time" he replied.
"Don't push me away, our marriage was already mixed, why did you reject me?" Sam was desperate to get answers.
"Don't ask questions that you're not ready to hear the answers to" Draken simply replied.
"I can handle it, why, is it some other woman...are you going after someone else? Answer me?" Sam raised her voice.
David who was close by happened to hear this question, he was also interested in hearing his answer.
"Ms Sam, please calm down and don't raise your voice at my boss or I'll have no choice but to use force on you" Erick interrupted their conversation.
He was right on time.
"I just want one thing...only one, an answer to my question" Sam insisted, but all Draken did was give her a cold look, before he by passed her and entered his car.
"So Sam doesn't even know that my little brother is interested in her sister and not her...poor thing" David thought to himself, staring at Sam who was left hanging by Draken...from the sides.
It hurt him to see Sam like that, he still loved her despite everything, he understood the pain of being rejected by the one you love...but he also wanted to find out about Emma....he didn't like her that much, but the fact that she caught the attention of Draken made him curious about her. She was pretty and all, but his interest was still in Samantha.
Emma could just be the key to his victory...a pawn he could use in his game with Draken...but little did he know, Draken was more than prepared and way ahead of him.

In Draken's car~~~
"Boss, we caught someone snooping around ma'am Emma's old house...but he still won't speak who his working for" Erick reported.
"No worries, I'll handle it.....just keep a close eye on David, he's upto something again" Draken replied.
"Boss, I also just got word from our connections outside, Mr Dave..will soon come back to the city. It will take atmost three days for him to arrive" Erick said.
"Three days will be more than enough to get Dave Corp and give it back to my wife... whatever she wishes to have, I'll get it for her"Draken replied.
He meant each and every single word he said, he was not joking.
"What about that cousin who just returned..what did you find out about him?" Draken continued to ask.
"Alexander Diaz, a nephew to Ms Sam's mother, he's related to Sam by blood, but not to Ma'am Emma.... there's nothing like blood ties" Erick had made his research.
No wonder he acted all clingy to Emma, they weren't real cousins....
Draken was fixing the pieces together.
Could Alex actually be in love with Emma? That alone pissed him off.
" I need to have a serious talk with that cousin Alex" those were his final words to Erick.
What was he planning to do next?
