At the Dave Mansion~~~~
Samantha sat in his silence in her room after they returned from the hospital.
"I reject your daughter"
"I don't want to marry her"
"Don't ask questions that you're not ready to hear the answers to"
Draken's voice kept ringing in her head. How could he rejected her so openly...what was his reason?
She remembered the days when they were still young, Draken was more lively than he was now...how could someone change so much, and so quickly?
As for David,he hadn't changed...he even came to comfort her after Draken left her hanging and broken. After everything she'd done to hurt him, he was still there for her...maybe, all along, she was chasing after the wrong person.
She heard a knock on the door.
"Come in" she said.
It was her cousin Alex.
"Hey, are you okay?" Alex asked after closing the door behind him.
"Aunt told me what happened at the hospital... " He continued to say.
"I got rejected by my first love" Sam replied in a sad voice.
How could Alex even tell her that he was in the same situation as her...being rejected by the person you love, for someone else.
"Draken Hunt, you're truly heartless" she mentioned the name Draken.
All along, Alex hadn't know that the man Sam was obsessing about, and Emma's secret husband..were the same person. What was so special about him, what did he have that Alex didn't.....to make two beautiful women to love him so much to that extent.
"Cheer up Sam, he's not the only man out there" Alex said.
"He isn't....but he's the only man I want...I don't want to let him go!" Sam almost cried.
"Cousin, he's not worth it...stop chasing after him,for all we know he could have feelings for someone else and not you" Alex replied.
He still kept the promise he made to Emma, that he wouldn't tell anyone about her marriage... especially to her family.
"He could have told me the truth himself if he had another woman he loved!!" Sam snapped at him.
As if she would be ready to accept it and accept defeat! She couldn't believe when her own cousin told her about it... it was clear that she wouldn't be able to handle it.
"Sam, you should focus more on yourself and think about the company.... leave Draken Hunt alone, he'll only keep hurting you" Alex said, before he stood up and left her room.

At Draken and Emma's house~~~
"Your hospital visit must have been so tiring love..."
Draken returned home to his wife,and immediately wrapped his arms around her...she was his safe zone and his final resting place.
"So tiring, I need to hold my wife to recharge" he replied.. burying his head in her neck.
"You must be hungry too, I was waiting for you so we can eat together...I cooked your favorite" Emma whispered.
"My wife takes such good care of me...I feel like I'm the luckiest man in the whole world" Draken lifted his head and kissed her forehead.
"Draken, I don't want to hide anything from you...I want to tell you the truth" Emma suddenly said.
"What happened, you know you can tell me anything....I'll listen" Draken replied.
"Alex came to see me at work yesterday....back then, he was always the one who stood up for me and defended me...I thought I liked him, I confessed to him but he... didn't like me back" Emma explained, while Draken listened.
"He went abroad and that's when I realized that I mistook the respect and admiration I had for him as love. ..and the confusion completely vanished when I met you, my true love" Draken held her closer after he heard her say that.
"He came to see me yesterday... asking me to leave you, and go to him because he loves me...but I can't even look at him that way anymore...I don't want to leave you"Emma said, tightening her grip around Draken.
Draken was enraged, the nerve of Alex trying to take his wife away from him. He'd kept quiet long enough now, he had to do something about it.
"Why are you so quiet, are you mad?" Emma asked.
"No, because I trust you more than myself...I trust that you love me, and won't leave me" Draken replied.
"Only death will do us part Draken...in this lifetime, maybe in the next lifetime you'll easily get rid of me" Emma said, before Draken kissed her.
"Mrs Hunt, why don't we... finish this conversation in the bedroom" he was hungry for her.
"Draken no...we still haven't eaten" Emma shyly said.
"No one else is here...the food won't run away, it can wait" Draken whispered in her ear, trailing kisses down her neck.
"You're so naughty Mr Hunt" Emma replied before she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
The next thing they knew, they were in their bedroom....on their bed, tearing clothes off their bodies....skin to skin, fingers connected to each other, bodies connected to each other.

At Ouracle~~~~
David's office
"Sorry, the number you're trying to reach is unavailable at the moment..please try again later"
"Damn it!! Where did this idiot disappear off to" David yelled... throwing his phone on the table.
He was trying to contact the man he'd sent to collect information about Emma, but he wasn't reachable.
"Mr Hunt, President Hunt's assistant just informed that the President is busy...and won't be able to see you" his secretary said, as soon as she came in through the door.
"President Hunt is always busy...he'll never have time for me.....you can leave" David replied, and his secretary walked out of his office.
"He's upto something....that brat" he thought to himself.
He kept wondering how his plans always failed when it came to finding about Emma and Draken.
He had to find out soon, now that his father was awake....his days working at Ouracle were numbered, and if he found out about him trying to kill Draken... he'd oust him out of the family.
What was he going to do next?
He had to plan his next move immediately. His phone rang.... thinking it was his man calling, he rushed to pick it up...but the caller ID was unexpected...Sam was the one calling.
"Can we meet?, I need to talk to you" Sam said as soon as he answered.
"Sure, where should we meet?" David asked.
"I'll send you the address...please come soon" Sam replied before she hung up.
This left David more than surprised.
What did she want to talk about with David Hunt? What did she want from him?
David didn't object, as soon as she sent the address, he left right away to meet with Sam.

At Draken and Emma's house
Emma woke up exhausted, but Draken wasn't beside her when she woke up. She wore his shirt that was a bit big on her, but covered upto her thighs and went downstairs..... looking for him.
She found him setting the table with their food.... dressed in a black vest, some pants and an apron.
He was so busy trying to make it perfect that he didn't even notice she'd come downstairs.
Emma came from behind him, and wrapped her arms around his waist.
"Why didn't you wake me up, I could have helped you" she said.
"I didn't want to disturb you and let you sleep...do you feel better now?" Draken asked, holding her arms and turning to face her.
"I feel better...I'm used to your body now anyway" Emma teased.
"So, you haven't had enough..." Draken also teased.
"I've had enough, don't even think about it" Emma replied.
"You look so gorgeous in my shirt, do you know that?" Draken said.
"If your wife doesn't look good in your clothes, then who else will" Emma replied... before they shared a passionate kiss.
"I have to tell you something" Draken said, after breaking the kiss.
"What is it?" Emma replied.
"I'll be working at night with Erick and Shaun...so I might be home late, you don't have to wait up for me" Draken said softly.
"As long you're safe and come back home to me, but don't overwork yourself too much..you'll fall ill" Emma didn't mind, rather she was more worried about his health.
She had no idea of the kind of work the three were going to do in the night.
"I promise, I'll come home to you in great shape... nothing bad will happen to me" Draken reassured her...before he pulled her into his embrace.
What would she do if she ever found out about that side of his? How would she even react? Would she abandon all her promises again and leave him?
"Emma, I love you... don't ever forget that" he whispered.
"Draken you're scaring me, that's how you behaved the last time you left me without saying anything" Emma replied.
"I won't leave....I just wanted to say it" Draken said.
"You better not be lying to me again....I won't be able to handle it anymore Draken please" Emma replied, tightening her arms around him.
"I won't lie to you anymore Emma, please just trust me" Draken said.
"I trust you, I'll trust you again..." Emma replied before they sat down to eat their food.

At a restaurant downtown~~~
"I came as soon as you called, what do you want to talk about Sam?" David asked, after he sat down across Sam at her table.
"Do you still want to get married David?" Sam replied.
"What?" David was left speechless.
"Let's get married" Sam continued to say.
What was she upto now?
"Sam, are you sure you're okay, are you sure about this?" David asked confused.
"I've never been more sure in my life than I am right now.... I'm willing to give it a chance with you" Sam replied.
"What made you change your mind?" David asked.
"Draken doesn't love me,but atleast you do....you're willing to do anything for me, and as long as you're a Hunt, my family will never object to this marriage" Sam replied.
She was serious about what she was saying.
"Fine then Sam, il willing to get married to you... again" David said.
At least one thing was going right, according to what he wanted. Maybe if he married one of the Dave's heiress and specifically the one who was running Dave Corp...his father would notice him....the way he notices Draken.
He'd have done something to benefit his family and their family business.
"So when is the wedding date?" David had only one question in his mind.
"In two days, when my father comes back home" Sam replied.

Later that night
The night was more windy than usual... David drove Sam back home, after they had dinner at the restaurant.
Draken's dad was still at the hospital under observation while his wife kept him company.
Alex was at his apartment, drinking while thinking about Emma, and the last words she said to him.
Emma lay on her bed, hugging her teddy Abel, worried about Draken... he'd left already, but she still couldn't help but think that something bad was going to happen to him.
Draken, Erick and Shaun were in a secluded area, where no one could even think of going... torturing their victim.
"Please let me go, please" the man pleaded with Draken.
He'd already pulled out six of his fingernails...and cut off one of them.
"What a pity, the person you're trying to protect...he won't care if you're dead"
This time, he pulled out a gun....and pointed it straight to his head.
"This is the last chance I'm giving you ...who ordered you to find out about Emma Dave" his voice was colder than usual.
His blood shot eyes were more scary than before, when it came to Emma....he was willing to kill.
"Fine, I'll talk just don't kill me....it was D.. David Hunt ..he was the one who ordered me to do it" the man replied.
No wonder.
"I'd let you off, but you've seen my face" Draken said before he pulled the trigger and shot the man dead without thinking twice.
"Erick, Shaun..clean this mess up....the next person going to die will be my dearest brother"
He'd messed with a wrong person...
