Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: The Track Team and the Alistair Rumors

Snap!

The sound of the starting pistol rang out. Several girls with full figures ran past like the wind. Their bouncing, shaking, ample chests drew the eyes of the boys present, and even a few players on the baseball field were distracted, leading to them missing a catch and getting scolded.

"Athletic clubs really do produce girls with fuller figures, don't they?"

Although phrased as a question, Alistair's tone was full of certainty. Most of the girls on this sports field were "Big" girls, the kind that were "Too big for one hand to grasp." For most people, excluding those who preferred flat chests, this place was a paradise—and that included the delinquents.

Come to think of it, although there were many delinquents here, they were all mostly behaving. They might be trash-talking, but their respective club activities were proceeding in an orderly fashion. Was this some kind of unwritten rule?

Alistair looked at the well-organized sports field, feeling slightly confused. Alistair figured there were many delinquents like Masaru Ogika, who would act out and say inappropriate things regardless of the setting.

"Coach Fujitō, how are the results?"

While Alistair was pondering, the girls who had just run came back and asked the short-haired woman standing not far from Alistair.

"They're not bad. They're good enough for a city-level competition. If you can improve a little more, there's hope of entering national-level events." Coach Akari Fujitō looked at the results, nodding with a slightly serious but appreciative tone.

"That's great!" The girls high-fived each other, laughing happily.

"Wow, that's amazing. To run those times with that kind of handicap is incredible. The ace from Seika Girls' High School doesn't have much better results than that."

Kasumi Haruno walked up to Coach Fujitō, looked at the results sheet in her hand, and spoke with surprise and envy. She also wished she had better physical fitness, like these girls—agile, yet their figures weren't negatively affected; in fact, it seemed to promote their development. That way, she thought, she might be more attractive for Alistair to plow her.

"Would you like to join our Track and Field Club, student? I can coach you and help you become outstanding like them." Coach Fujitō smiled, her voice gentle, unlike the formal tone she used just moments ago.

"Um, I think I'll have to think about it. I don't exercise much, and it looks too strenuous." Kasumi Haruno quickly waved her hand, politely declining. Although she was envious, she knew how hard these girls trained. She was content with being good at housework and cooking. Her dream was just to be a simple housewife and live a peaceful life. She wanted no part of sports.

"Is that so? Well, I won't force you. Let me introduce myself. I'm Akari Fujitō, the advisor for the Track and Field Club." The short-haired female coach placed her hands on her hips and introduced herself. Her maturity carried a hint of youthful energy. Her clean, crisp short hair, combined with her somewhat seductive face, somehow created a harmonious appearance. Her green eyes sparkled with vitality, and below, she had an unavoidably surging chest and shapely hips. Her alluring body exuded a tempting aura of maturity.

"Hello, I'm Asuka Ogura, a second-year student. Hello to both you juniors." A girl walked over and greeted Alistair and Kasumi. She had long, soft hair dyed a light brown, which she wore in a long braid down her back. The few remaining strands on the sides were tucked behind her ears. Her face was beautiful, her features gentle, and she looked very warm and approachable.

"Hello, I'm Mia Stuartson. I transferred from the US this year and I'm also a first-year." The other girl had fairer skin and an even more dramatically developed figure. Her long, pale-white hair was tied in a high ponytail. Her slightly drooping eyelids gave her a lazy look. She wasn't as cheerful and seductive as Asuka Ogura, but her lazy style suggested she might need something to ignite her passion.

"You mentioned that our results are similar to the ace of the Seika Girls' High School Track and Field team. Do you follow track and field events?" Coach Fujitō asked with interest. She still wanted to recruit as many people as possible, so she tried to spark a similar conversation.

"Not really. I just happened to see it occasionally. Besides, Seika Girls' High School is a particularly famous private girls' school. I'm a transfer student, and I used to attend middle school nearby. Although I had no hope of attending that school, it's normal for me to pay attention to it." Kasumi Haruno explained with a slight embarrassment.

"You went to middle school near Seika Girls' High School? That makes sense. I heard that place is only for the daughters of big tycoons and various important figures." Coach Fujitō pondered for a moment.

"Mmh, pretty much. Only the daughters of very influential people can get into that school." Kasumi Haruno nodded in agreement.

"What about that religious-sounding girls' school nearby?" Asuka Ogura asked curiously.

"You mean St. Lux Academy? That place did have that restriction, but in recent years, they haven't had enough enrollment, so regular girls with good grades can get in. Unfortunately, it's still not enough. This year they broke an old rule and even started accepting boys, but not many actually got in, maybe a few dozen." As a teacher, Coach Fujitō clearly knew more and explained the news that the students generally didn't pay attention to.

After all, except for Kasumi and Alistair, the academic performance of the other two was mediocre at best. Their family backgrounds were also average, so they wouldn't pay attention to those aristocratic schools, especially Alistair. Coach Fujitō assumed he wouldn't even look at that news, as those were not only aristocratic schools but also girls' schools.

Coach Fujitō didn't even consider the possibility that Alistair and Kasumi had good grades. She was a teacher, and she occasionally checked school rankings; she had a basic impression of the top students.

"So, would you two students like to introduce yourselves?" Coach Fujitō asked with a smile.

"I apologize, I forgot for a moment. My name is Kasumi Haruno, a first-year student in Class G. Please treat me kindly." Kasumi Haruno first apologized, then introduced herself, a look of regret on her face.

"Sorry, I was engrossed in the talk. My name is Alistair Vance, and I'm in first-year Class H." Alistair also apologized and stated his name and class.

"You're Alistair Vance?" Mia, whose eyelids had been slightly lowered, suddenly opened her eyes wide and looked at Alistair in surprise, attracting the attention of the other two.

"What's wrong? Is Alistair-kun famous?" Asuka Ogura leaned over and asked curiously. Coach Fujitō also looked at Mia.

The two then observed Alistair, but didn't find anything particularly special. He just had a handsome face, leaning toward a cute style. Overall, he wasn't overly outstanding. Was there something else remarkable about him?

They both looked back at Mia, waiting for her explanation.

"Well... it's just..." Mia looked at Alistair. Although the rumors were rampant in private, it was someone else's business, and a teacher was present. She wasn't sure how to explain it gracefully.

Alistair shrugged, indicating he didn't mind. He actually didn't mind some rumors spreading. This would only benefit him by attracting either delinquents or sluts, both of whom would better promote his fusion with the ring. Normal people still made up the majority in this world, and the dark energy from normal people was too sparse for him.

"It's just that... there are rumors that Alistair-kun has some means to make girls submit. Not only does he openly have two girlfriends, but he also threatened a purple-haired girl, who publicly shouted that she wouldn't be dominated by him." Mia recounted the rumor, which had mutated countless times overnight, immediately piquing the interest of the other two. They had heard many rumors. How many were actually credible? Only completely unrestrained people like Takaaki Anjō would make them reach a consensus. There were too many fabrications, and many who bullied others used this as a form of entertainment, so they just listened for the fun of it.

So, the two looked at Alistair, ready to hear his side of the story.

"The part about the purple-haired girl was an accident. She was sleeping and dreaming about something bad, probably like a kidnapping. She happened to wake up when I was talking, so people just fabricated that story." Alistair's tone was calm and natural, as if he didn't care at all. He looked like someone who wasn't afraid of rumors because he was innocent. His righteous manner convinced the three women that the rumors were unreliable. Things like openly two-timing were probably just made up by those people.

Noticing that the women completely dismissed the rumors as unreliable, Alistair spread his hands, offering no further explanation. He had only denied the part about Natsuha Shinomiyagi. He hadn't denied the two-timing part, but since they decided it was false on their own, it had nothing to do with Alistair.

Kasumi Haruno, too, found it difficult to say anything. She didn't know why, but she didn't oppose Alistair's choice and simply decided to comply. However, since it wasn't exactly a glorious thing, she silently watched them listen to Alistair's explanation and fill in the blanks themselves.

Clap! Clap!

"Alright, you've rested for a while. Time to continue training." Coach Fujitō clapped her hands. They had rested for long enough and needed to continue their training.

"Yes~" The two girls agreed. They had experienced Coach Fujitō's strictness before. Besides, for better results, they were willing to proceed with the new training.

"Well, we're leaving. We're going to check out the other gymnasium." Alistair waved his hand and led Kasumi Haruno toward the other gymnasium, which was mainly home to the baseball and soccer clubs. This school must be rich to have two sports fields.

I think the girl Rina-senpai mentioned joined the baseball club. I should check there first.

Alistair, who was just a second ago unable to concentrate on Kasumi Haruno because he was thinking of other women, was now thinking of another girl. This made him sigh, A scumbag template really suits me better.

It seemed he was destined to "painfully" alternate between "self-reproach toward girls" and sowing his seed.
