Chapter 105 - Chapter 105: Alistair's Hasty Retreat

"Woah, easy now."

Alistair turned his head back and saw Anna Komiya, half-sprawled over the mirror, slowly bending her knees. Her upper body slid down against the mirror surface, completely unresponsive to Alistair's words.

"Did she pass out?"

Seeing Anna Komiya unresponsive and continuing to slide down—her speed even accelerating, about to drop—Alistair was quick. He reached out and scooped Anna Komiya up, letting her lean against him.

"This is... still flying high in the heavens, isn't she?"

Alistair looked at Anna Komiya's vacant expression, raised an eyebrow, and reached out a hand to pinch her cheek. This elicited a series of soft, foolish giggles from her, her eyes filled with blissful distraction.

"Alright, I guess so. It seems being too good isn't always ideal. I'll let you rest then."

Alistair carried Anna Komiya, who occasionally let out an idiotic giggle, toward the bed. He placed her on the bed, pulled the blanket over her, shook his head, and sighed in amazement.

"Huh?"

Alistair suddenly turned his head toward the door. He noticed that the door had been opened at some point. There was a considerable gap now; it was more than just a crack, wide enough for a hand to pass through.

Alistair casually pulled up his zipper and walked toward the door.

Shhh!

Alistair pulled the door open. The area outside was already deserted. From the moment Alistair first sensed the intrusion and noticed the door was open, he hadn't seen anyone.

Sniff~ Sniff~

Alistair sniffed the air, frowning. Even though his sense of smell wasn't the main focus of his enhancements, which had been upgraded several times, it was still much more sensitive than an average person's. He had just caught a familiar scent.

The scent was still lingering on the mirror's surface—the scent of spring water flowing from a woman's Peach Paradise.

Alistair tracked the scent, looked down, and immediately noticed the transparent liquid on the floor that was already mostly dry.

This is... interesting. Was that... Yuria Komiya? Lilliana barely leaves the house, staying in to stream and play games. And in the original plot, it was Yuria Komiya who watched her sisters, Anna and Lilliana, being played by Takashi, motivating herself, only to be discovered by Takashi, who then commanded the sisters to hold her while he fucked her, causing her to awaken her true nature and actively seek refinement. This puddle on the floor is most likely from that woman, Yuria Komiya.

Alistair thought for a moment, put on his clothes, and planned to ignore the damp patch, walking downstairs with a natural expression.

"Oh my~ Komiya-kun, are you and Anna-chan finished discussing? Would you like to stay for a meal?"

Yuria Komiya stroked her cheek, her eyes half-closed, her voice gentle but containing a hint of seductive charm.

Perhaps due to the demonic power focusing on desire that had transformed him, Alistair keenly sensed the deeply hidden fanatic desire and repressed sense of emptiness in her voice. The way she looked at him subtly hinted at a hunger, as if she wanted to devour him.

"No, thank you. I was just talking to Vice President Anna Komiya today, exchanging experiences on working in the student council. Now that I've gotten the information I needed, I'll take my leave."

Alistair struggled to avert his gaze from the voluptuous and beautiful Yuria Komiya. He realized that if he stared at her for too long, his Magma Giant Dragon would likely become aroused and stand proudly erect.

It wasn't that Alistair didn't want to make a move, but he was afraid Yuria Komiya might possess some ominous abilities. After all, Takashi was gone, and the original plot could only serve as a reference for character traits. Alistair dared not gamble on what she might be capable of now.

Alistair currently lacked any tools or abilities to deal with mental or soul-related problems. Yuria Komiya's unnatural, intense desire-inducing aura was clearly unsettling.

In short, Yuria Komiya was highly likely to possess a special mental-based item or ability. Alistair had no counter-measure for this, so for now, keeping his distance was the best course of action. After all, his life was paramount.

"Is that so? That's a shame then~ I look forward to your next visit, Komiya-kun~"

Yuria Komiya stood at the entrance, bidding farewell to Alistair, who was putting on his shoes. Her half-closed eyes and gentle smile made it difficult for Alistair to spot anything amiss. If it weren't for her strange aura that made him cautious, he would have definitely used his Heavenly Rod to teach her a good lesson.

"Then, I must be going. Thank you for your hospitality. Goodbye."

Alistair's expression remained neutral. He tried to keep his gaze focused only on Yuria Komiya's lower body as he spoke calmly.

After speaking, Alistair waved his hand and walked out.

Thud.

As the door closed, Alistair breathed a sigh of relief. He wasn't completely without means to counter mental issues; if it was a strange artifact, he could absorb it simply by touching it. But who knew if Yuria Komiya's effect was an ability or an artifact? Alistair didn't like to gamble with his life.

As someone who had already died once, Alistair valued his life greatly. He had only been a bit unrestrained after realizing his abilities could sweep this area, but later, he had been thoroughly taught a lesson by Hachishaku-sama in the demi-human district, reminding him that there were always greater powers and beings.

Alistair definitely did not want to experience that feeling of sensing everything but having no control over himself again. He would rather encounter characters and plots from the Time Stop genre than those from the Hypnosis genre.

His [Pocket Watch] gave him a passive ability to be unaffected by temporal fluctuations. Characters from the Time Stop genre often lacked any other abilities besides that item. As long as he wasn't controlled by time, he was unstoppable. No one could defeat him when he possessed the Ox Talisman and the Horse Talisman.

...Speaking of which, the Ox Talisman and the Horse Talisman—that strangely familiar combination. Ox-Horse (Niu-Ma)?

It seemed he would have to postpone meeting Lilliana Komiya until he returned to school the day after tomorrow. Although meeting her here was convenient, Alistair felt uneasy with Yuria Komiya around. Especially since Yuria Komiya had definitely been self-stimulating by the door earlier, yet Alistair hadn't noticed anything at all. This was very unsettling. The feeling of being watched only surfaced long after Yuria Komiya had left. How strange. Can the sixth sense be delayed?

Based on the dryness of the water stain outside the door, the person must have left at least half an hour ago. It was hard to attribute this delay just to Alistair being too focused on his "workout." Part of his essence had already evolved from normal to superhuman, so his sixth sense was definitely real. Therefore, there was an eighty percent chance that Yuria Komiya had cast some kind of mental buff on Alistair, even if the major impact was minimal.
