Zimo walked into the living room and sat down opposite Wang Renshu. He could feel Renshu's eyes on him, sharp and unblinking, yet he kept his gaze lowered.
"Now that your case is almost settled, what will you do?" Renshu asked.
Zimo looked at him for a moment and then answered, "How can I be sure that it'll be settled?"
"Are you still going after my father?"
"I just want to clear my name. As for taking revenge, I'm too tired", Zimo said, but the last part was laced with a lie. Going after Wang Lihong had become something he couldn't avoid. And lately, his resolve to bring him down had hardened like steel.
"What about Gu Yuxuan? Will he take revenge for you?"
Zimo paused, realising the probe behind Renshu's words. He then answered, "The feud between them has long been planted. What makes you think he'll take revenge because of me?"
