"I will afford you the same choice that you gave my mother in law." Cuau said. "I call for restitution." Cuau said. Dala looked afraid for a moment before she grinned in hope.
I think she thought that she would be fine because she had her husbands. But the next words wiped the smile off of her face.
"With no support and you must drink the same poison that you forced Chief Inti to drink." By now, a few people have become brave enough to venture out to see the commotion. They gasped.
Whispers began as they realized that Dala had poisoned the Chief. Looking at her, they could see that she was in bad shape. Though I had healed most of her wounds and leached out the toxin, she still looked pale and sickly.
It worked to our benefit. The people thought she was still poisoned and anger in their ranks swept like a wildfire through them. Dala glanced out to the crowd.
"No, I didn't…" she tried to say, but the harsh glares of the people made her flinch back.
