The night is beautiful....stars twinkling away with no worries...that's all i notice as I rush inyo my apartment and slam the door shut behind me.
I press my hands to the wall...leaning against it..not trusting my shaky legs to support me all the way to the bathroom.I look up into my image in the mirror..not ready to face what i saw...
My lip trembled as i held back the tears....someone's life force all over my skin like lotion....my torn blouse...dark circles...and empty ..hollow eyes..
I strip myself down in a rush....willing to get away from the rustic scent of blood.I step into the shower..scrubbing myself so hard as if to cleanse my literal soul from the sin i witnessed...
My vision blurs..my breathing quickens..i lose my bearing...and as everything goes dark..i know im going to have a cold....
