Author's pov
The whole purple clan was in jubilation as cobra came down from the van with the captives even though one of them was dead, mon'itei was at a corner with Luka watching Cobra as he helped Agu down the van. The rest of the men carried Laden's dead body down to the lagoon to bury him.
"You've done well" mon'itei smiled at Cobra who was beaming with pride
"Anything for you great leader" he bowed
Agu was covered with bruises and his face looked unrecognisable, his clothes were stained with blood and he just lay on the floor breathing heavily. Luka walked closer to him and bent down
"How could you let those officers get you? I thought you were one of bravest men" he said
"I..." Agu coughed
Mon'itei walked over to him, glaring at him
"You disappointed me, coward" he spat
"Give me one reason why I shouldn't exile you or kill you for disappointing me"
"G..great leader i wasn't defeated by the officers..." Agu coughed
The whole clan came closer to hear him
"What do you mean?" Luka asked
"I was defeated by our fellow comrade, the one we all thought was dead. Aron did this to me and got me arrested" he said angrily and coughed out blood
There was a loud gasp from the clan, mon'itei was a bit shocked so was Luka.
"Don't..." Mon'itei said
"I'm not lying, i was shocked too. Turns out he's still alive and he was protecting one woman who I'm guessing must be his secret girlfriend or something" Agu said
Everyone was now confused, Aron wasn't dead and he was actually helping their enemies. Mon'itei folded his fist angrily
"Do you know where we can find him?" Luka asked
"I wish but I don't, i didn't see him again after the military took me away"
"Treachery" everyone whispered
"Betrayed by his own son" some of the women whispered
Mon'itei fumed with anger "Cobra new mission for you, find the woman and find Aron"
Cobra nodded and was about to match off when a feminine figure slowly walked into the compound from the gates. All eyes turned towards the thunder queen as she walked majestically towards them. Mon'itei wasn't smiling
"Ola what are you doing here?" He asked
"Greetings mon'itei, i came with some news" she bowed with an anxious face
"Keep whatever news you have now, we've found Aron. Turns out he's on the enemies' side"
"What...no you're mistaking" she blunted out before she could stop herself
"How dare you?" Luka yelled "mon'itei never makes a mistake"
"I'm sorry, i didn't mean it that way. I came to tell you that I know where Aron is and he needs our help" she explained

A few minutes later
"So you're saying he's lost his memories and doesn't remember us?"
Ola nodded.
They were all seated in the main chamber as Ola carefully explained Aron's situation and how she met the governor's daughter
"We need to bring him back to the camp and help him regain his memories" ola said
"I see. That explains why he was acting strange when we were fighting" Agu rubbed his bruised chin
"Yes" Ola smiled "he never betrayed us, just confused"
"Hmmmm, you've done well Ola. Cobra i want you and Ola to take our men and get Aron back" mon'itei commanded
"Sure thing" cobra nodded
"What about the governor's daughter?" Ola asked
She really wanted to hurt that woman
"She helped Aron so maybe i could spare her life" mon'itei thought
Ola frowned "No, she's our only way to get to the governor. We can't spare her life"
"Someone is jealous" cobra muttered
Ola gave him a bombastic side eye and hissed
"Great leader, you haven't forgotten our plans, have you? The governor's weak spot is his daughter. Let's kill two birds with one stone, get Aron back and get the governor too using his daughter...simple"
"I like the way you think Ola. Cobra tomorrow you two should get Aron and the lady. I want it clean and nicely done...in and out no loops" mon'itei said
"Understood" Cobra nodded
Ola smiled
