Chapter 243 - Chapter 242 I Am Mai Ge • Alex

Amy's voice was a little childish, but it conveyed a serious attitude.

Two small hands were raised, and two beams of blue purple flames suddenly rose up, scorching the air and sending out two plumes of white smoke, before collapsing into two fireballs the size of fists.

Hearing the conversation, Goodinia asked in surprise, "Are there people in the restaurant?"

"It would be even better if they were here. Don't worry, Gabriel is the most experienced at handling these kinds of things. He'll make them kneel down and kowtow to you in a minute." Devo waved his hand dismissively, his expression becoming somewhat excited. Bullying the weak is really an interesting thing. He always feels inexplicably excited when he does it.

"Heh, little brat, do you think you can scare me away with such a tiny flame? Although I was once a knight, but I, Gabriel, have never had any of those ridiculous principles about not hitting children. If you anger me, I'll beat you up just the same." Gabriel glanced disdainfully at the fireball in Amy's hand, then looked at Mai Ge, who was still sitting at the table, and said with a hint of sarcasm, "You're the owner of this restaurant, right? I heard you beat up my boss's friend. I'm here to settle things for him. Are you going to take this little bastard and kneel out of here, or do I have to do it?"

"This fireball?" Johnny stared at the small fireball in Amy's hand, his eyes widening slowly, and he subconsciously took a step back.

Mai Ge looked into Gabriel's bloodshot eyes, his expression remaining calm, but his hand had somehow already grasped a chopstick.

"Red-eyed Rabbit, I'm not trying to scare you, I'm going to hit you!" Amy shook her head seriously at Gabriel, then threw the two small fireballs in her hand at the same time, shouting, "Go! Little fireballs!"

Two small fireballs, no bigger than a child's fist, floated and swayed towards Gabriel and Johnny. They didn't seem to be moving very fast, but they arrived in front of the two in the blink of an eye.

"Tch!" Gabriel chuckled mockingly, casually raising his long sword and lightly slapping it down. This kind of fireball wasn't even a spark. Did a four years old brat know magic? It was just a fire that could be extinguished with a flick of his wrist. Those ungrateful brats should be taught a lesson.

"Watch out!" Johnny's expression changed drastically. A flash of light appeared on his body, and a red magical shield rose up. He waved his magic wand, seemingly about to unleash some magic, while simultaneously retreating towards the door.

However, it was all too late.

"Bang! Bang!"

Two explosions occurred almost simultaneously.

The moment Gabriel's sword touched the fireball, the fireball exploded, shattering the hundred-refined long sword instantly. The terrifying shockwave, accompanied by flames, blasted him directly out of the restaurant, where he landed with a thud on the street outside. His body was charred black, and he lay sprawled on the ground, covered in horrific wounds, foaming at the mouth, his bloodshot eyes filled with resentment as he stared in the direction of the restaurant entrance.

At the same time, another fireball exploded in front of Johnny. His magical shield, which had barely held for a moment, completely disappeared. He didn't even have time to utter the spell he wanted to cast before his black magic wand shattered in the heat wave, and he was blasted away. He only managed to cast two Water Balls and one Freeze spell on himself at the last moment. He rolled around on the ground a few times in a sorry state, knelt down, spat out a mouthful of blood, and could no longer stand up, supporting himself with one hand on the ground.

The restaurant's tables and chairs were overturned by the terrifying blast wave, but miraculously, the tables, chairs, floor, and walls were not damaged at all, they just looked like a mess on the surface.

"Wow...that's amazing!" Yabemia's mouth dropped open as she stared in astonishment at the scene.

"At only four years old, the power of her instant cast fireball is already approaching that of a level four mage!" Sally looked at Amy with equal shock. She suddenly understood why those two great mages were vying to take Amy as their apprentice. Such terrifying talent was probably unmatched on the Nolan Continent.

"Gabriel! John…ny....." Devo's face turned deathly pale as he watched the two men fly out of the restaurant. These were the strongest swordsman and mage in his tavern. What had just happened in the restaurant? What caused that terrifying explosion?

But no matter what, he knew that this time, they had really bitten off more than they could chew! This newly opened restaurant was probably not so simple.

"This... Devo, let's get out of here quickly, that father and daughter are lawless!" Goodinia's expression also changed drastically. He patted Devo on the shoulder and climbed onto the carriage first.

"Hmph, it's you again! You bad guy, don't run away, eat my little fireball!" Amy walked to the door, looked at Goodinia who was climbing onto the carriage, and said angrily. With a wave of her hand, a small fireball flew towards the carriage.

"Watch out! That fireball is incredibly powerful!" Johnny shouted with all his might. The coachman jumped off the carriage and rolled into the nearby bushes.

Devo and Goodinia stared wide-eyed at the fireball, their thoughts and movements seemingly frozen as it passed between them and exploded inside the carriage.

"Boom!"

An explosion rang out, flames shot up, and Goodinia and Devo, who were standing beside the carriage, were simultaneously thrown out, both landing on the ground with their clothes torn to shreds and covered in burns and blast wounds. Lying on the ground, they looked at Amy standing at the entrance of the Restaurant Mai Mi with a look of terror on their faces, and then they both fainted, their fate unknown.

"Remember this, I, Amy, am really fierce! You'd better behave from now on and don't cause trouble! Disturbing my meal is really annoying!" Amy said seriously, looking at the four people who had collapsed outside the door.

"Little…little bastard…" Gabriel looked up at Amy, his fingers slowly reaching for the broken sword lying to the side, a mad look gathering in his scarlet eyes.

"Clatter".

A shoe stepped on the broken sword, Mai Ge had come out at some point.

"Little Amy, go inside and eat." Mai Ge said to Amy with a smile.

"Okay." Amy nodded happily and turned to go into the restaurant.

"A guy… who only dares to hide behind women…" Gabriel looked up, staring at Mai Ge with a manic expression.

"You are unworthy of the title of knight. Humility, integrity, compassion, courage, justice, sacrifice, honor, and soul—you possess none of the eight virtues of a knight." Mai Ge was not angered by Gabriel's words, instead, he grew even calmer, looking at him with a mixture of mockery and pity. He slowly leaned down and whispered in his ear, "You should have awe for a true knight. I stand behind her, yet I have the courage and determination to die for her at any moment. I am Mai Ge • Alex. Of course, only the dead can hear these words."

"You…" Gabriel's eyes widened in shock, but the words that followed were stuck in his throat by the chopstick. His desperate gaze followed the figure that got up and walked towards the restaurant. He couldn't believe the last words he heard until his death…
