Chapter 66 - CHAPTER 31 — Part 30 — Drakonix Reborn: The Beast Who Remembers the Emperor

The world trembled.

Not from battle. Not from an enemy attack. But from birth.

Drakonix's cocoon—once dormant and humming with soft flame—now split apart with cracks of burning prismatic lightning.

CRRRAAAAAACK—!

A shockwave of rainbow fire surged outward, shaking the ruined valley.Ancient runes carved into the cliff walls ignited in response, as though awakening from centuries of slumber.

Xueya tightened her arms around Shan Wei's unconscious body.

"Drakonix…? You're—awakening?"

Jin Wei stepped forward defensively as sensors flared.

"WARNING: ENERGY LEVELS EXCEED PREVIOUS PARAMETERS.EVOLUTION STATE— CRITICAL."

The Empress stumbled backward, wide-eyed.

"No… No beast should emit that level of divine resonance… Drakonix… what are you?"

The Observer backed away quickly.

"He's not just awakening.Something inside him is remembering."

1. The Cocoon Shatters

The cocoon pulsed once.Twice.A third time—

BOOOOOOOM—!!!

It exploded in a storm of prismatic fire.

Wind howled. The sky bent.Ash swirled upward in spirals of light.

And from the collapsing flames…

A silhouette emerged.

Small.Majestic.Radiating divine nobility.

Drakonix stepped out—

But he was no longer the small, playful cub he once was.

2. Drakonix's First True Evolution — NIRVANA DRAKONIX

His new form glowed like a creature born from starlight and fire.

• Sleeker, elongated body with shimmering prismatic scales• Phoenix-like wings spread wide, feathered with rainbow flame• Dragon horns sharper, glowing with cosmic runes• Tail tipped with a burning, comet-like flame• Eyes—beautiful, terrifying—now slit like a dragon's and glimmering with ancient memory

Xueya gasped. The Empress dropped to her knees.Even Jin Wei lowered his head for a moment, recognizing authority.

The Observer whispered in disbelief:

"He remembers… his bloodline remembers…"

Drakonix looked around—

Then saw Shan Wei lying in Xueya's arms.

Something changed.

His expression—once mischievous—softened into a deep, ancient sadness.

He walked forward slowly, wings folding back.

Xueya tensed.

But Drakonix nuzzled Shan Wei's chest gently with his horned head.

A tear—liquid starlight—fell from his eye.

And he whispered, in a voice far older than his size:

"…Brother… why are you still so weak?"

Xueya froze.

The Empress's jaw dropped.

Jin Wei's eyes flashed gold.

Even the Observer trembled.

"He—he spoke… in ancient Prismatic Tongue…"

But Drakonix continued, voice shaking.

"Why did you come back like this…?Why did you return so broken?"

The temperature dropped.

Xueya whispered:

"Drakonix… return?What are you saying?"

Drakonix looked up at her—

And for the first time, his gaze held sorrow.

"He was the Red Emperor."

Xueya's breath stopped.

The Empress clutched her head, whispering:

"No. Please no. That title… it brings calamity…"

But Drakonix continued.

"And I… I was his flame."

3. The Beast Who Served the Emperor

The Observer staggered.

"No… NO. That means— you were…?"

Drakonix nodded slowly.

"I was born from his last breath.Forged when he shattered the Abyssal Throne.I saw his fall.I saw the heavens erase him.I carried his soul's last spark…"

His wings flared slightly, illuminating the valley.

"…until he reincarnated."

Xueya stared at Shan Wei, tears forming.

"So… Shan Wei isn't just a prodigy.He's—he's—"

The Empress finished for her, voice shaking:

"A reincarnated Emperor of fate-breaking power…"

Jin Wei's golden core flickered.

"PROCESSING…MASTER'S IDENTITY:REVISED CLASSIFICATION—[SOVEREIGN OF PRISMATIC DESTINY]."

Drakonix nodded.

Then looked down again, pain flickering across his divine features.

"But reincarnation fractured him.His memory shattered. His soul is incomplete."

He touched Shan Wei's forehead with a wing-tip.

"And the Devourer… remembers his light."

The wind stilled.

Everyone froze.

"…That's why it came for him," Xueya whispered."He didn't provoke it… it recognized him."

Drakonix nodded.

"It always hunts the Prismatic Emperor.Every lifetime."

4. Shan Wei's Body Responds

Suddenly—

Shan Wei's body arched.

His breath turned ragged.

His golden eyes snapped open—

but again, they weren't golden.

They flickered between:

goldcrimsonprismaticvoid blackand blood-red.

The Observer panicked.

"He's absorbing the memories too fast—his soul can't handle it!"

Xueya held him tightly.

"Shan Wei! Look at me—stay here! Don't get lost!"

Shan Wei's trembling hand rose—

barely brushing her cheek.

"…Xueya…?"

She nodded, tears falling.

"Yes. I'm here."

His breath steadied slightly.

But then—

The sky cracked.

A red line cut across the clouds like a bleeding wound.

The Empress screamed.

"That's— That's the Abyssal Court's Summoning Trail! They've marked this location!"

Drakonix snarled, wings flaring wide.

Jin Wei shifted instantly to Guardian Mode.

The Observer whispered:

"They're coming.Abyssal Nobles.Royal-tier.Maybe… higher."

Xueya stood, drawing her sword, frost swirling around her.

"Then we protect him."

Drakonix stepped forward, eyes blazing.

"No.I will protect him."

The ground rumbled.

The sky tore open.

And footsteps echoed from the forming abyssal gate.

Not one.Not two.

But many.

The Abyss had come.

For the Red Emperor reborn.

And this time—they were not sending hunters.

They were sending executioners.
