The sky split open like torn flesh.
A rift of pulsing black-red energy stretched across the heavens, throbbing like a living wound. Malicious whispers leaked from the crack—voices layered atop one another, ancient and hungry.
Xueya stepped in front of the unconscious Shan Wei, sword drawn, frost spiraling around her like a silent blizzard.
Jin Wei locked into full Guardian Mode, plates shifting, golden runes igniting across his frame.
Drakonix, reborn in his Nirvana form, spread his phoenix-dragon wings wide as prismatic fire flooded the crater.
The Observer whispered, voice cracking:
"They're here…Abyssal Executioners."
The Empress collapsed to her knees in terror.
"No—NO—Executioners don't leave the Abyssal Throne unless—unless it's a world-kill order!"
The rift widened.
Three silhouettes stepped out.
Each footstep distorted reality.
Each breath rippled the air.
Each presence carried death.
1. The Three Abyssal Executioners Arrive
First ExecutionerTall, armored in bone-white plates etched with golden abyss runes.Four eyes stacked vertically across his mask.A spear dripping with devouring moonlight.
Title:Moon-Splitter VeyruthRank: Abyssal Executioner — Supreme Huntmaster
Second ExecutionerA slim, shifting figure concealed by living shadows. No feet—only tendrils of darkness trailing behind.Six spectral blades orbiting like predatory stars.
Title:Umbral Reaver SerakaiRank: Abyssal Executioner — Soul Dissector
Third ExecutionerA towering brute of raw muscle and stone-like flesh.A giant hammer fused with a spine of some colossal beast. His breathing alone caused the ground to crack.
Title:Gravehammer MorkhulRank: Abyssal Executioner — War Calamity Beast
The wind died.
Even the light hesitated to move.
Xueya's voice trembled despite her resolve.
"…Three…Three Executioners were sent… for Shan Wei alone?"
The Empress answered with a whisper dripping in dread:
"They consider him a world-ending threat now.Nothing less warrants Executioners."
2. The Executioners Recognize Drakonix
Veyruth, the spear-wielder, raised his head slightly.
His four golden eyes narrowed on Drakonix.
"So… the Beast of the Red Emperor survives."
Drakonix snarled, prismatic fire surging from his throat.
"You insects dare speak of him?"
Serakai's shadowy form flickered.
"Your existence was supposed to die with him.You cling to a corpse of destiny."
Drakonix's wings flared violently.
"Come closer.I'll show you how alive I am."
The ground quaked beneath him.
3. Their Eyes Turn Toward Shan Wei
But then—
All three executioners looked at Shan Wei.
Still unconscious.Still glowing faintly red.Still caught between reincarnation and awakening.
Morkhul, the brute, cracked his neck.
"Kill him.Before he remembers."
Xueya stepped forward instantly.
Her aura erupted.
Ice and moonlight spiraled into a blizzard around her, fully awakening her sword intent.
The temperature dropped to lethal levels.
"If you want him—you go through me."
The Executioners paused.
Then laughed.
Serakai's voice slithered through the air.
"The Frost Star Maiden dares block an execution?"
Xueya did not move.
Did not waver.
Her blade glowed with killing light.
"I do more than dare."
Ice burst outward in a dome, shielding Shan Wei's body.
4. Jin Wei Activates Heaven-Rank Guardian Protocol
Jin Wei stepped beside her.
Gold fractal runes formed across his armor.
His voice boomed:
"HEAVEN-RANK PROTOCOL INITIATED:MASTER-PROTECTION ABSOLUTE."
The Executioners paused.
Even Morkhul shifted uneasily.
A Heaven-Rank protocol puppet was not a trivial foe.
Serakai hissed.
"Annoying machine."
Jin Wei raised his arm.
A golden barrier descended over Shan Wei—thousands of micro-formations interlocking into a radiant shield.
5. Drakonix Takes the Sky — His First True Battle
Drakonix lifted his head to the sky.
Then he roared.
A roar not of a beast—but of a divine being.
The valley shattered.
The sky cracked.
Even the Executioners staggered.
Veyruth's pupils shrank.
"That roar…Impossible—! That's the Cry of the Prismatic Monarch!"
Drakonix launched upward—
A blazing meteor of rainbow flame.
Serakai vanished into shadows to intercept.
Morkhul leapt upward with a shockwave.
Veyruth thrust his spear, creating a moon-splitting crescent.
Drakonix answered all three with a single flap of his wings—
BOOOOOOM!!!
A pillar of prismatic fire shot upward, tearing open the sky.
The Executioners were blasted apart.
Not defeated.But stunned.
The Observer screamed:
"He's fighting—THREE EXECUTIONERS AT ONCE!"
Xueya clutched Shan Wei tighter.
"Hold on…Please wake up soon…"
6. Shan Wei's Soul Begins to Stabilize
Inside his body—
Shan Wei's soul flickered between golden light and crimson shadow.
Fragments of his past life drifted toward him:
A throne of dying sunsA shattered saber dripping cosmosA broken crownA hand reaching for him—his own hand, from another life—
He gasped silently.
"…Xueya… Drakonix… where…"
His body twitched.
Xueya noticed and her voice broke.
"He's waking—! Shan Wei, come back—"
But instead of answering—
His aura surged.
Red.Gold.Prismatic.Void.
All at once.
Jin Wei staggered as readings spiked.
"MASTER'S SOUL—STABILIZING AND DESTABILIZING SIMULTANEOUSLY—THIS SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE—"
And then—
Drakonix screamed.
High above, struck by Veyruth's lunar spear.
The attack shredded part of his wing membrane.Blood—prismatic silver—splashed across the sky.
Xueya cried out.
"DRAKONIX!!"
Shan Wei heard her voice—
And something inside him snapped.
7. A Name That Should Never Be Spoken
Veyruth raised his spear again.
"Fall, Beast of the Red Emperor!"
Drakonix roared in defiance—
But Morkhul appeared behind him, hammer raised.
Impact death imminent.
Xueya screamed:
"SHAN WEI—PLEASE—WAKE UP!!"
Silence.
Then—
A voice not belonging to any of them whispered from Shan Wei's lips.
A deep, ancient voice.
A voice that froze the Executioners in terror.
"…Veyruth."
All three Executioners froze mid-attack.
Drakonix hovered, panting, eyes wide in shock.
Xueya paled.
The Empress collapsed.
The Observer nearly fainted.
That was not Shan Wei's voice.
That was—
Serakai trembled.
"N-No…That's the voice of—"
Shan Wei's eyes opened.
Crimson and gold and void-pulsing.
He sat up slowly in Xueya's arms.
The world stilled.
His gaze lifted toward the Executioners—
Cold.Ancient.Regal.
The voice that left his mouth was not his own:
"Have you forgotten…how you knelt before me?"
Veyruth dropped his spear.
Serakai's shadows recoiled.
Morkhul fell to one knee in raw instinctive fear.
Because this was the name only ancient Abyssal Kings remembered—
The true name of the Red Emperor:
"A—"
The sound cut off—the heavens themselves censored it.
But the Executioners already heard enough.
Veyruth trembled violently.
"YOU—YOU SHOULD NOT EXIST!!"
Shan Wei stood.
Prismatic fire forming behind him like wings.
Xueya stared at him, breathless.
"You're… you're…"
But he turned to her, and his expression softened.
For a moment, the ancient Emperor faded—and her Shan Wei returned.
"Xueya…I'm here."
She nearly collapsed in relief.
But above them—Drakonix roared, empowered by Shan Wei's awakening.
And the Executioners?
They realized—
This was no longer a hunt.
This was a war.
