The heat from my breath ghosted across her lips as I leaned closer, our faces mere inches apart. "Give me a kiss," I murmured, watching her pulse flutter beneath the delicate skin of her throat.
Her eyes went wide, blinking once, then twice, before crimson bloomed across her cheeks like spilled wine. The innocent reaction sent a thrill through my wolf, confirming what I already suspected - no man had ever claimed those lips.
She held her breath as I pressed closer, my chest brushing against hers while my arm curved around her neck, drawing her against me until there was no space left between us.
"Y-you're insane," she stammered, her face burning with embarrassment. "You've completely lost your damn mind."
A low rumble escaped my throat as I studied her flustered expression. "Is this how you respond after what happened in the cave? After you took advantage of me while I was unconscious?"
