After the announcement by Daeros, each teacher led their disciple to different parts of the training room. Bringing out an incomplete metal box from their pockets, the teachers placed the end of the box that had no metal flooring on it on the floor and pressed a button on the top of the incomplete box. The box hummed before expanding upwards and sideways into a room with no foundation.
Stepping into the makeshift room, Princess Marina stared at the walls intently.
"It's colbistarum." Pyralex said as he stepped into the room beside her.
"It's a metal refined by those blessed by the spirit of fire and it is said to expand when energy is passed through it." Pyralex said with a smile as he took in his surroundings.
"It's soundproof and it's extremely useful in cases like this." Pyralex said, referring to their training situations.
Saying the words "Cultivar", Pyralex weaved vines from the ground to form makeshift chairs for the both of them.
Stepping further into the room and taking a seat, Pyralex beckoned Princess Marina to do the same.
"What was your thought process when you summoned the mist on the first day of class?" Pyralex asked Princess Marina.
"I thought of early morning fog before the sun comes up." said Princess Marina.
"When you added the wind to the mist, what did you think of?" asked Pyralex.
"A blizzard." Princess Marina said and Pyralex nodded.
"Visualizing is the first step in being able to use the blessings. Those blessed by fire draw out their plans while those blessed by the spirit of the earth, wind and water visualize it in their mind." said Pyralex.
"The second step in being able to use the blessing is execution." said Pyralex.
"Execution makes those ideas come to life but what makes an execution perfect is your level of concentration." Pyralex said and Princess Marina nodded in understanding.
"Can you explain how mist is made?" Pyralex asked Princess Marina.
"There are many ways that mist can be made but the overall format is the condensation of water vapor into tiny droplets." Princess Marina said and Pyralex nodded.
"Instead of simply creating fog, have you ever thought of bending into something else?" Pyralex asked and Princess Marina looked at him in confusion.
Hours Later.
Princess Marina stepped out of her carriage looking haggard. Running to greet her, Lorraine stopped short at Princess Marina appearance.
Muttering mindless concepts under her breath, Princess Marina carried on to her room with a crazed look upon her face.
"Fog is like a cloud at ground level and depending on how dense it is in can obscure vision-" Princess Marina muttered and Lorraine looked at her worriedly.
"And since it is a cloud and cloud forms shapes so a fog can be made to form shapes too-" Princess Marina muttered crazily and her bestiae looked at her in worry from their pit.
"Like this!" Princess Marina said and formed a heart from fog.
"And this!" Princess Marina said forming a circle with fog.
"But why can't I make a human's silhouette in the fog!" Princess Marina said as she kicked her dresser with force and hopped in pain.
"Calm down Princess Marina." Lorraine said as she rushed forward to console her.
"This things take practice and I am sure that by your next class-" Lorraine said before shutting up quickly from Princess Marina's sour look.
Thinking of what to say to take Princess Marina out of her sour mood, Lorraine asked "How was your first transformation into a wolf?"
"I am sure it wasn't easy on the first try." Lorraine said tentatively and Princess Marina looked at her like she was crazy.
"My first transformation into a wolf was flawless." Princess Marina said flatly and Lorraine blanched at the fact that when the Goddess granted her the ability to become a human Lorraine had struggled to walk for a week!
"But my first detransformation into a human-" Princess Marina said with a sigh.
"Took a lot of tries." Princess Marina said begrudgingly and Lorraine brightened.
"See?" asked Lorraine.
"A lot of things take time" Lorraine said encouragingly.
"No!" Princess Marina wailed
"He did it as easily as breathing." whined Princess Marina.
"Who did?" Lorraine asked in confusion.
"Your weapon's instructor is blessed by the spirit of the earth." Lorraine said in confusion.
"No not Daeros, Pyralex" Princess Marina said, shaking Lorraine's shoulders.
"The person in charge of my training for this class and the foreseeable future is also blessed by the spirit of fire." Princess Marina wailed.
