The moment Harry Potter woke up, his heart almost shattered.

"Harry I succeeded so there was no reason for it not to work, and anyway look over there."
She quickly changed the topic.
Before Harry could continue complaining, Hermione had already spotted something.
Following her gaze, both of them looked toward the Chamber of Secrets.
What they saw made them freeze.
Beneath the statue of Salazar Slytherin, Tom Riddle was floating in mid-air.
At his feet lay a young wizard, his condition unknown.
A ring of green light surrounded Tom's body.
A glowing rune was imprinted on his forehead.
Even without understanding it, they instinctively knew its meaning.
Life.
Rebirth.
Resurrection.
"Lord Voldemort."
Harry's voice was low but firm.
Fragments of memory surfaced, confirming his judgment.
His eyes were filled with anger and vigilance, but not fear.
"Lord Voldemort I will kill you."
Without hesitation, Harry raised his gun, aimed at Tom, and fired as he rushed forward.
The gun flashed repeatedly.
Tom rose from his position and casually raised his hand.
A green barrier formed instantly, blocking the incoming attacks.
"Harry Potter."
He looked slightly surprised.
But only slightly.
Harry continued firing without stopping.
The chamber was no longer silent.
Harry's voice echoed.
The Basilisk roared from within the statue.
Gunshots rang out one after another.
For the first time in years, the Chamber of Secrets felt alive.
Tom maintained his barrier effortlessly.
Unlike ordinary shields, his magic carried a green hue.
It was the result of using the Basilisk's transformed magic.
"We should sit down and talk properly Harry."
Tom spoke calmly.
Hermione rushed to Harry's side.
Both of them stared at Tom cautiously.
"Professor Albus Dumbledore will be here soon so you will not succeed Lord Voldemort."
Hermione's voice was tense, but steady.
She did not fully understand why Harry called him that.
But she trusted him.
Tom looked at her and almost laughed.
Not out of anger.
But amusement.
"We are not enemies and you should not be attacking me because I only made you unconscious to prevent you from interfering and now that you are awake you can witness my rebirth."
His voice was calm and clear.
Magic carried his words directly to them.
"Lord Voldemort what are you trying to do."
Harry did not lower his weapon.
Neither of them believed him.
Words alone could not change what they knew.
Tom sighed slightly.
"I already told you I am not Lord Voldemort."
Even if they would not believe him, he still repeated it.
Because after today, he would no longer be that person.
He would be someone new.
Someone independent.
"As you can see I am approaching rebirth."
Hermione's gaze shifted to the boy on the ground.
The green magic linking him to Tom made her tense.
Her mind quickly formed a conclusion.
"Are you using his life to resurrect yourself."
Her voice was tight.
"No because I would not harm him and I am using the life of the Basilisk instead."
Tom answered without hesitation.
Hermione frowned.
Even if his answer sounded reasonable, she still trusted her own judgment more.
The tension in the air did not ease.
