Cherreads

Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Little gathering

After that, we decided to take a walk around Waco and check out the Magnolia Market. My Bryan was super into it, and we were taking pics and laughing in front of all the chipper decor. We geeked out over all the Magnolia branded merch, and I was loving how into it they were. We grabbed some snacks and treats, and it was just this totally chill, perfect day vibe.

As we were wandering around, Gabriel finally caught up with us, and we were all hanging out, taking in the sights. My Bryan fit right in with our group.

We walked along the Brazos River, enjoying the view and the chill atmosphere. It was one of those days where everything felt right, you know? We ended up talking about everything from our favorite books to our dream travel destinations.

Eventually, we made our way back to our dorm, and it was, like, this natural end to the day. We stood outside, chatting for a bit, and I was just thinking, This is it, this is the moment. Bryan smiled at me and said, Today was really fun, let's do it again soon? and I was, like, Definitely, for sure.

We said our goodbyes, and I watched him walk off, feeling like I was walking on air. Gabriel was grinning at me, like, Dude, you got a shot, and I was just shaking my head, laughing.

We headed back to our room, and I couldn't stop smiling. It was, like, one of those days I'll never forget. Gabriel was teasing me, saying, You better get that coffee date, and I was just, like, Shut up, dude.

I spent the rest of the night thinking about my Bryan and how much fun we'd had. It was, like, this spark of excitement that I couldn't shake, and I was just hoping that it would lead to something more.

The next day, I couldn't wait to text him and make plans for that coffee date. It was, like, the perfect ending to a perfect day, and I was stoked to see where things would go.

I sent him a text, saying, Hey, had a blast yesterday, wanna grab coffee this week? and I was hoping they'd say yes. The wait was killing me, but when they responded with a smiling emoji and a "definitely", I knew it was game on.

We ended up grabbing coffee a few days later, and it was, like, this amazing continuation of our day together. We laughed, talked, and just vibed, and I knew that this was just the start of something special.

As we were finishing up our coffee, Bryan turned to me and said, Want to go on a real date with me? and I was, like, Uh, yeah, absolutely. It was, like, this dream come true, and I couldn't believe how lucky I was.

We high-fived, and he walked me back to my dorm, feeling like I was on top of the world. It was, like, this perfect ending to a perfect day, and I was stoked to see where things would go from here.

I was living in the moment, and it felt amazing. We parted ways, but the excitement lingered. I couldn't wait to see him again.

As I settled into bed that night, I couldn't help but smile. Today was the day everything changed. I felt like I was on cloud nine, and nothing could bring me down.

The next few days flew by in a blur. We texted, laughed, and made plans. Our coffee date led to dinner, and dinner led to... who knows? But I was ready to find out.

I learned that sometimes, the best things in life come when you least expect them. And this thing with my crush? It was definitely unexpected.

As I drifted off to sleep, I knew that this was just the beginning. And I couldn't wait to see what the future held.
