Chapter 7 - 7

Deep within the Batcave, a massive display screen continuously played a heart-stopping combat recording.

On the screen, the scene of Tel-Rol catching lightning with one hand was repeatedly shown in slow motion.

Bruce Wayne sat in front of the computer, his face expressionless as he typed on the keyboard.

His eyes gleamed with a light that only appeared when analyzing the most dangerous enemies.

"Alfred, pull up all the data on Kryptonian physiology."

"Certainly, Master Bruce. Though, if I may say so, you look like you're preparing to deal with a new supervillain."

The old butler walked over, holding a teacup.

"No, Alfred."

Bruce said without turning his head.

"I'm preparing to deal with a being that might be even more dangerous than Clark."

On the screen, Tel-Rol's arrogant face was frozen and magnified.

Bruce created a new folder, titled: [Tel-Rol Contingency Plan].

The first subfolder: [Anti-Special Kryptonian Armor Design Draft].

"Master Bruce, are you sure you want to give him that codename?"

Alfred looked at the title on the screen and couldn't help but ask.

Bruce brought up Tel-Rol's combat data analysis.

"Overwhelming strength, simple and brutal attack methods, and that madness of fighting just to fight."

"Most importantly, the white energy around him is completely different from a Kryptonian's bio-electric aura."

Just then, the Batcave's communication system rang.

"Bruce, we need to talk."

Clark's voice came through the speaker.

"About Tel."

"I'm waiting for you all."

Bruce pressed the connect button.

"Watchtower, in ten minutes."

Ten minutes later, at the Watchtower.

Clark, Wonder Woman, and Supergirl sat around a circular table.

Diana's left arm was still bandaged, and her face was a little pale.

"He's not an ordinary Kryptonian."

Diana clenched one hand into a fist, speaking with a grave expression.

"I've fought countless formidable enemies, but I've never encountered an opponent like him."

"He's like a beast born for battle."

"His technique is crude, but his strength and combat intuition are terrifying."

Clark nodded.

"I can feel that the energy within him is completely different from ours."

"That's not the power a Kryptonian should possess."

"It's more like something more primitive, more violent."

Kara said anxiously from the side:

"But he's still our kin!"

"We can't just give up on him!"

"No one said we're giving up on him, Kara."

Clark immediately raised a hand and gently patted Kara's shoulder, comforting her.

"But we have to face a reality — in his current state, he is a disaster for this world."

"I have a responsibility to guide him onto the right path."

"But before that, we need to be able to stop him."

Bruce's voice came from the shadows.

"So, you've decided?"

The three turned to look at Batman in the corner.

"To classify him as an A-level potential threat and monitor him 24 hours a day?"

"These are necessary precautions."

Clark said heavily.

"I don't want to see innocent people get hurt because of my negligence."

Bruce walked to the table and placed a tablet computer on it.

The screen displayed a detailed threat assessment report.

"According to my analysis, his danger level already exceeds most known supervillains."

"His sheer power alone is enough to destroy a city."

"And he clearly lacks moral restraint."

Diana looked at the data on the report and frowned.

"You've already started developing contingency plans against him?"

"That's my job."

Bruce replied expressionlessly.

"To create countermeasures for every possible threat."

"Including everyone present."

Clark said with some dissatisfaction:

"He's my cousin! Discussing him like this makes me very uncomfortable!"

"Clark, I understand how you feel."

Diana said gently.

"But as heroes, we must prepare for the worst-case scenario."

"This isn't against him personally, but to protect more innocent lives."

While the group was discussing, in an apartment in National City.

Tel-Rol was sitting on the sofa, with a dozen empty takeout boxes in front of him.

Kara stood at the kitchen doorway, watching this scene, her mouth twitching.

"You... you ordered takeout from the entire block?"

"Mm."

Tel-Rol wiped his mouth.

"The taste was alright, just too little quantity."

"That was the inventory of thirty restaurants!"

Kara felt her wallet weeping.

"Do you know how much all that costs?"

"Money?"

Tel-Rol tilted his head and looked at her.

"What's that?"

Kara paced back and forth, taking deep breaths, trying to stay calm.

"Money is... it's used to buy things... Never mind that for now."

"Let's talk about your behavior today."

"You can't just run off and fight in other people's territory!"

"Especially a sacred place like Themyscira!"

Tel-Rol stood up and walked to the window.

His senses swept across the entire city again.

Suddenly, he stopped moving.

In a corner of the city, he sensed a faint but very interesting energy source.

That energy was peculiar, carrying a dark and oppressive aura.

It wasn't very strong, but it had a mysterious quality that made one want to investigate it.

"Found it."

A smile played on his lips.

"Found what?"

Kara asked, puzzled.

"The next interesting opponent."

Tel-Rol turned to look at Kara.

"That guy in the black bodysuit, where is he?"

"Black bodysuit? You mean..."

Kara's face turned pale.

"You're not thinking of causing trouble for Batman, are you?"

"Batman?"

Tel-Rol savored the name.

"Sounds very weak."

"But since you're so nervous, it seems he might be somewhat interesting."

"No, no, no! You can't go looking for him!"

Kara quickly blocked his way.

"Batman isn't like us, he's just a normal human!"

"You'll kill him!"

"Normal human?"

Disappointment flashed in Tel-Rol's eyes.

"Then it's no fun."

"But..."

He carefully sensed that energy.

"The aura around him doesn't seem like a normal person's."

At the same time, high above Gotham City.

Batman was patrolling the night sky in the Batwing.

Suddenly, the plane's alarm system blared wildly.

"Warning! Unknown high-speed object approaching!"

"Flight pattern: Non-Kryptonian standard!"

"Estimated contact time: Thirty seconds!"

Bruce's brows furrowed as he watched the rapidly approaching light on the radar screen.

"Alfred, initiate emergency evasion procedures."

"Activated, Master Bruce. But the target's speed is too high!"

"Estimated contact in ten seconds!"

Bruce's finger hovered over the ejector seat button.

Through the cockpit glass, he saw a white streak of light hurtling straight towards him.

The light was exceptionally conspicuous in the night sky, like a falling meteor.

"Damn it..."

Bruce gritted his teeth.

"How did he find me?"

The white streak of light suddenly stopped less than ten meters from the Batwing.

Tel-Rol hovered in mid-air, curiously examining the strangely shaped aircraft.

"Interesting toy."

His voice somehow reached the cockpit.

"The person inside, care to chat?"
