Chapter 76 - Levi: "I am a lv.4 adventurer."

The fierce-looking man had already sensed that something was wrong. He was a Lv.2 adventurer, after all, and still had some skill.

Just as he was about to retreat, in the next second, he discovered that his legs had been frozen to the ground at some unknown point.

It was so cold that he didn't even feel any pain.

"You!!" The man's mouth fell open, a look of terror flashing across his face. "You're not actually a Lv.1?!"

Levi, however, maintained his indifferent expression. "Isn't that obvious? If I were just an ordinary adventurer, why would Lord Apollo, or even Lady Freya, have their eyes on me?"

Although she had spoken with the boy before her several times, it was only today that she felt she truly knew him.

About three minutes later.

Eina swallowed and spoke cautiously.

"...The Guild has indeed received the 5 million Valis fine."

Then, as she glanced down at the contents of the parchment, she couldn't help but let out a stunned scream: "Wait, Lv.4!!!!!!"

When these words came out, everyone in the hall, whether adventurer or Guild staff, fell silent.

The man was able to adapt. The arrogance on his face vanished in an instant. "I apologize for what I said earlier. So, can we reconcile?"

Hearing this, Levi couldn't help but laugh.

"What do you think?"

As he spoke, in front of everyone present, he materialized two more Icy Kitty Paws. However, he didn't aim for the man's upper body, instead smashing them heavily onto his frozen shins and knees.

In his normal state, Levi's combat power could be stably maintained at the lower tier of Lv.6.

And the man was merely a Lv.2, and not even a Lv.2 who had raised all his ability scores to the S-rank limit.

Facing Levi's Icy Kitty Paw, which was specially enhanced by the 'Heaven's Feel' Craft Essence, the fact that he didn't pass out on the spot was already the result of the former deliberately controlling its power.

Even so, the man's frozen legs shattered directly under the attack of the second Icy Kitty Paw.

Due to inertia, his entire body fell backward onto the ground.

Yet he paid no mind to his pathetic state, merely hunching over, dazedly touching his shins, which had already disappeared.

"My legs... my legs..."

As for Levi, he acted as if he had just done something trivial.

Without looking at the man's miserable state again, he just smiled and turned around, taking 5 million Valis from his inventory and placing it on the counter.

"Miss Eina, please count it. Ahem, my fine."

"Mr. Levi, you..."

The half-elf girl, who had never ventured into the Dungeon, had never seen such a gruesome sight. Upon hearing his words, her whole body couldn't help but tremble.

In fact, it wasn't just her; the expressions on many of the adventurers and Guild staff present were not pretty either.

Eina opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but Levi just let out a soft "Hmm?", and all her subsequent words were swallowed back down.

Levi didn't mind her somewhat distant attitude.

He wasn't Bell, the protagonist from the anime of his past life, who would choose to help even those who had once harmed him.

"Oh, right." As if remembering something, Levi took out a piece of parchment. "I've been busy lately, so I forgot."

"I want to update my Falna level."

With that, he handed over the Falna information that Hestia had spent a long time revising the previous night.

Eina was a Guild employee, after all. She had seen ruthless and violent people in the past.

Having slowly calmed herself, she forced a professional smile upon hearing Levi wanted to update his information and replied, "Okay."

Most adventurers who could grow up in Orario were not naive fools.

Thus, even though the man's whispers of "I have no feet anymore" and "I'm a cripple" still echoed in the hall from time to time, no one paid any more attention to that guy.

Instead, they focused more on the conversation between Levi and Eina.

And it was for this reason that when Eina shouted "Lv.4", everyone, far from being shocked or stunned, showed expressions of "as expected".

It made sense.

The man himself said he was a Lv.2 adventurer—in Orario, adventurers would only ever understate their level; no fool would dare to falsely report a higher one.

And to be able to toy with a Lv.2 like a monkey as Levi did, aside from a Lv.3 with extremely high Magic ability, only a Falna holder of Lv.4 or above could do it.

But Eina, who knew more of the inside story, couldn't control the expression on her face at all.

She knew that Levi had only been an adventurer for a little over a month.

But in such a short time, he had accomplished what many could not in a lifetime: leveling up from Lv.1 to Lv.4.

And...

Eina continued to read the contents of the parchment.

All current ability scores raised to S.

Development Abilities 'Mystery', 'Mixing', and 'Spirit Healing'.

Any one of these, taken alone, was an achievement others could never hope to reach.

Seeing the girl's worldview shattering, Levi offered a "kind" reminder: "There's no need to be surprised, Miss Eina."

"I've studied bartending. After reaching Lv.2 and unexpectedly awakening 'Mystery', I even developed a non-alcoholic sparkling wine that can accelerate the growth of one's own ability scores."

—Hmm?!

If the adventurers in the hall had previously just been thinking, "Orario has produced another monster," upon discovering that the Hestia Familia captain had reached Lv.4 in a short time. Then after hearing what Levi had just said, the expressions on every single one of them changed instantly.

Those who want to become adventurers are driven by either money, fame, or women.

But whatever the reason, power is absolutely indispensable on the path to achieving one's desires.

And Levi, as an extremely rare holder of the 'Mystery' Development Ability in Orario, if he wasn't lying...

"Lord Levi Bright, is what you just said true?"

A blue-haired woman in an off-the-shoulder martial arts robe walked forward, asking with a serious expression.

Levi turned around and saw it was the captain of the Ganesha Familia, 'Ganesha's Staff' Shakti Varma. Behind her was a young girl holding a staff, who looked to be a healer.

He nodded, and at the same time, took out a bottle of Regeneration Wine from his inventory.

With a casual toss, it accurately hit the distraught, legless man not far away.

—Crash.

The glass bottle shattered, and the liquid within spilled out.

In the next moment, a miraculous scene was imprinted upon the eyes of everyone present.

The man, who could only crawl on the ground due to his missing legs, suddenly had the flesh below his thighs begin to twitch inexplicably. Then, muscles and blood vessels grew out from the ice-sealed wounds, one by one. Accompanied by the man's visible emaciation, in just a few moments, most of his legs had recovered, with only the feet still missing.
