Mater looked down upon the Glacial Wight. He couldn't help but feel surprised at how intelligent it was.
A wraith shouldn't be this smart. But the wraith of this world wasn't simple wraith either, they were Chaos Wraith that could tap into the power of Chaos.
"What is your name, wraith?" Mater meowed.
"I do not have a name, Master." The wight said. "Would you like to give me a name?"
"I might. But I need to check something first."
The black cat tapped the Dark Grimoire on his feet. The book stood up straight and a black hole appeared on the fifth page.
"Go in."
"Yes. Master." The ice wight willingly entered the book. It shrunk quickly and completely disappeared into the page.
"As I thought. The wight counts as an undead so the Page of Imprisonment can still hold it."
The information of the ice wight appeared.
[Glacial-Elk Wight]
[Description]: A spirit that was murdered unjustly. Its rage was released by the cold touch of Death. Its killer no longer has any control over it. It has one and only one master.

[Spells]:
- Ice Cage: Summon a pillar of ice from under a surface to trap an enemy inside. The affected enemy is unable to move for 30 seconds.
- Ice Spikes: Summon a maximum of 20 spikes of ice from surfaces around the enemy to attack them.
- Glacial Elk: Temporarily reveal your true form for 180 seconds. The 30-meter radius area around you has its temperature greatly reduced. All enemies inside the area are slowed. Ice Cage is replaced with Glacial Coffin. Ice Spikes is replaced with Glacial Arrows.
- Glacial Coffin: Superior version of Ice Cage. Available only while the wight is in its true form. Trap an enemy inside a pillar made of Death Ice for 30 seconds.
- Glacial Arrows: Superior version of Ice Spikes. Available only while the wight is in its true form. Summon 20 Death Ice Arrows anywhere in the 30-meter radius around you to strike the enemy in the same area.
[Passive Ability]: Body of Ice
- Body of Ice: Gain resistance to all mental effects. The colder the environment is, the stronger the wight. Can regenerate body parts by absorbing ice or snow.
"Level 6... The Submission Seal empowered it as expected. Its prior spells and passive ability were converted by the power of Death Ice.
Instead of a hybrid between a warrior and a caster. It is now a full-blown ice caster.
What is surprising is Glacial Elk. Its power is purely unimaginable for a rank 1 being. Even though it can only last for 3 minutes."
Mater tapped his soft paw on the page and released the Wight. It shot out of the book in a bright light and landed next to Mater.
Its body looked exactly like an ordinary human, except for the blue and white lines of Death Ice running all over its skin.
"You have one hell of a body. You must have been very popular when you were alive." Mater meowed.
"Thank you, Master. But I do not remember anything of my previous life." The Wight answered.
Because of the mental connection between them, the Wight was able to understand Mater even if it didn't speak cat language.
"From now on, you are called Aurora." The black cat meowed.
"Aurora is at your service, Master." The Wight bowed deeply.
Mater nodded his head. He climbed up onto Aurora's shoulder. He had created a vehicle for himself in case Selina was not presented.
The black cat looked down at the naked body of Aurora. He couldn't help but grin deviously while stroking his whiskers. "You know. I really like to admire your beautiful body but we should find something for you to wear if we are to go out in public."
The Wight didn't answer as it had no thoughts or emotions.
"Pick up the Dark Grimoire." Mater meowed.
"As you wish, Master."
With that, Mater and Aurora left the tunnel of the green frog and returned to the ritual site.
Apart from the frog tunnel, there were still two other tunnels. One that was covered in gray membranes. The other was covered in ancient runic symbols.
Mater didn't understand those symbols. The unknown is more dangerous as you can't prepare for it. The black cat decided to visit the rune tunnel last.
"The sewage tunnel I came from was covered in cobwebs. There was a spider guarding it.
The frog tunnel was covered in its toxic slime.
The membranes looked like shed skin of some type of lizard. I can expect the third one is a lizard and anticipate how it would attack.
Let's go to the third tunnel, Aurora."
"Yes, Master."
The naked wight walked deeper into the tunnel with discarded pieces of skin. Its complex and beautiful antlers seemed out of place in the darkness of this sewage system.
The third tunnel led to a large empty area with a very high ceiling.
"Hmmm? Where is the third creature?"
Mater's eyes flashed red as he scanned the darkness of the sewer. He soon found a Chaos creature sticking on the wall. It was the smallest one between the creatures Mater had encountered and was only twice as big as an adult human.
"It is a lizard as I expected. The shed skin must belong to it."
The lizard dashed freely on the wall in high-speed. Its body was almost hard to keep track of.
"Fighting it might be difficult by how fast it moves on the wall. Luckily, my minion is a perfect match for it.
Aurora, ice this lizard!"
"As you wish, Master!"
Mater retreated to the darkness and controlled Aurora to battle the lizard.
The Glacial Wight clapped her two hands together and immediately, a pillar of ice emerged from the wall where the lizard was and tried to trap it inside.
The lizard was quick and dashed away, avoiding the ice pillar. However, its tail was caught by the spell and was ripped off completely. Black blood poured out non-stop.
The lizard jumped to a far platform. It hissed at Aurora while waving its tail. The tail regrew almost instantly and became anew.
"Regeneration? It is expected for this type of creature. But how many times can you heal yourself?" Mater grinned widely. He controlled Aurora to attack the lizard once more.
Ice Spikes was activated. Clear blue ice shot up from under the ground around the lizard and aimed at its flesh.
The lizard used its nimbleness and avoided the spell. It got caught by some of the spikes but those holes were quickly filled up with new flesh.
The lizard's eyes suddenly turned red. Its speed increased greatly and it turned into a blur.
The lizard ran past Aurora. Its sharp claw sliced her arm clean off.
