Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Special Dish

Liu Ming's mouth twitched. He had indeed guessed correctly.

The beautiful woman with long, straight black hair in front of him was exactly who he thought.

The first time he heard the pen name Akiyama Shinobu, the image of a beautiful woman immediately popped into his mind.

He had even once thought about pursuing her, after all, she was a super beauty. But as soon as he thought of her dark personality and the scissors she carried that were comparable to missiles, he spinelessly gave up.

At that time, he was just an ordinary person and truly lacked the confidence to face a human missile. Those scissors were no joke; what if he accidentally got cut?

Now he had the strength. After equipping the sword of god, his physical attributes were several times that of an ordinary person, and his attack power had broken through the 5000 mark.

But then another problem arose: the faint, lingering scent of jealousy and envy behind him. Liu Ming didn't even need to turn around to guess it was Thor, that jealous fat dragon.

"So you are Teacher Akiyama Shinobu. It's a pleasure to meet you," Liu Ming said with a smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Teacher Liu," Natsuno Kirihime finally pulled her gaze away from the Lily and Red Date Porridge.

"You are both famous authors, so you must have common topics.

Now, I'm going to order. I'll have a Twice-Cooked Pork," Editor Hiiragi Suzuna said.

Liu Ming shifted his gaze to Natsuno Kirihime. He had to admit, she was truly beautiful.

"What's that? It doesn't seem to be on the menu," Natsuno Kirihime pointed towards Grandma Doma.

"That's Lily and Red Date Porridge. I made it especially for Grandma Doma. She's a bit old, and Lily and Red Date Porridge is very suitable for her," Liu Ming explained.

"Is that so? Then, if I wanted to order it, could you make it?" Natsuno Kirihime wrinkled her delicate nose, her eyes showing a hint of anticipation.

"If it were anyone else, certainly not, but you are Teacher Akiyama Shinobu. Since this is our first meeting, I'll make an exception for you. However, isn't there anything you like on the menu?" Liu Ming was a little puzzled why she insisted on ordering Lily and Red Date Porridge.

"I've had the other dishes before, and they were just okay. But that bowl of Lily and Red Date Porridge gives me a very different feeling. I want to try it; I feel like inspiration will gush forth."

Natsuno Kirihime didn't hide her feelings, directly expressing what she felt.

"I'm happy to hear you say that, but comparing other places' dishes to mine is a bit much. Every chef has their own specialty. You shouldn't judge all dishes to be the same just by a dish name. That's not good,"

"What you say makes a lot of sense, but I wonder if your cooking skills are as superb as your writing ability. Don't end up embarrassing yourself by eating your own words."

Natsuno Kirihime was indeed a sharp-tongued, dark-bellied woman. Even though Liu Ming was mentally prepared, he still couldn't help but want to hit her. However, as his gaze drifted to the silver scissors at her waist, he forcibly suppressed that urge.

Violent, sharp-tongued, dark-bellied woman, can't afford to provoke, can't afford to provoke.

"How about I choose a dish for you, one that's also not on the menu?" Liu Ming seemed to think of something fun, a strange expression appearing on his face.

Natsuno Kirihime raised her beautiful eyebrows. She always felt that he had some ulterior motive.

However, this was a public place after all, and Hiiragi Suzuna was with her. Coupled with her confidence in her own strength, she wasn't afraid of Liu Ming playing any small tricks.

"I'll look forward to it," Natsuno Kirihime's eyes sparkled with brilliance as she met Liu Ming's gaze.

"Me too!" Hiiragi Suzuna raised her hand high.

Liu Ming gave her a chop to the head. "You've already ordered, no changing."

"Teacher Liu is biased," Hiiragi Suzuna pouted unhappily.

"Don't try to act cute after thirty," Liu Ming said gruffly, then ignored her.

Returning to the kitchen, he saw Tadokoro Megumi still diligently practicing her knife skills and couldn't help but feel greatly relieved. This apprentice was truly hardworking. It seemed he, as the master, also needed to be a bit more serious.

"Megumi, stop for a moment," Liu Ming said.

Tadokoro Megumi stopped and looked at Liu Ming.

"How's your tongue now? Is it still very painful?"

Tadokoro Megumi shook her head, then nodded.

"It's not as painful as last night, but there are still occasional pangs."

Tadokoro Megumi nodded.

"This shows you have a good physique. In just one more day, your tongue should be fully evolved."

Tadokoro Megumi still didn't speak, but the smile on her face already indicated her mood.

"Now I'm going to teach you a special dish. Pay close attention and remember it," Liu Ming's expression became serious.

Tadokoro Megumi's eyes shone with golden light, and she became excited.

For her master to be so solemn in his instructions, it must be an extraordinary dish.
