Synopsis
The story follows Shige Haru, a laid-back high schooler whose greatest ambition in life is to find the perfect place to lie down and do nothing. Haru spends most of his free time playing a new RPG that's still in beta testing-a game that has quickly become popular for its shocking level of realism. But one afternoon, on his way home from school, everything changes. Without warning, Haru is pulled into a strange light and suddenly teleported to an unknown place. A floating system window appears before his eyes. In that moment, Haru realizes the impossible: he has been transported into the very game he was playing. Now trapped inside a world governed by quests, skills, and dangers, how will a lazy teenager like Haru manage to survive?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

-Haru Pov-

"Bro, look at my character!"

"Whoa, damn—your items are all rare! Take me to a dungeon next time, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, sure."

Meanwhile, on the girls' side…

"Wow, your spirit is a rabbit? That's so cute!"

"Hehe, because I picked the Spirit Mage class."

At the company office…

"If I sell this heroic-rank item… will it actually sell?"

Everyone was playing the new game that opened its beta test a week ago. Why? Because the game was insanely fantasy-themed, full of action, and the system and visuals made it feel like you were really living in another world. And me—did I play it too? Well…

"Hey, Haru, let me see your character's items."

I nodded and showed him my screen, chuckling casually.

My friend's eyes widened the moment he saw my character.

"Bro, all your items are heroic rank?! How the hell do you have so many? Give me your tips, oh great master!"

I just laughed proudly, rubbing my nose with a smug grin.

"Well, I put all my stat points into Luck, so I get a higher chance of getting high-rank items."

My friend nodded in understanding. When the school bell rang, he waved goodbye as we both headed home.

I walked along the sidewalk, already planning to make sweet, wholesome love to my bed for hours when suddenly—

[Player Haru Detected. Beginning Teleportation.]

My vision distorted, and the next thing I knew, I was teleported into what looked like a forest, standing in the middle of some ruined structure—surrounded by people who also looked confused, just like me.

I looked around and touched the ruined structure beside me. It felt completely real. A system window appeared—everyone else seemed to receive it too.

[Welcome to the world of Garundou.

You are currently inside a dungeon, and your tutorial is simple: survive for six days.

On the last day, a door will appear that allows you to exit this tutorial dungeon.

Oh, and don't forget to say "Status Window."]

I exhaled and quietly said, "Status Window."

Another window appeared.

[Correct. You may now view your own potential.

We hope you're satisfied with your stats.

Also, the protective barrier around this ruin will collapse in 10 seconds.]

I stared blankly at the message. My hand instantly went to scratch my head—out of stress, frustration, and a very real sense of fear.

"Great. Just great. Why do I have to end up in a situation like this?! I just wanted to sleep and enjoy my peaceful life! And my potential looks terrible—only my Luck is good. Damn it… the barrier's about to collapse… damn it… at least give me a passive or active skill!"

I quickly opened my Status Window again to check my skills—and apparently, I had one.

Lazy… Eyes?

The moment I said the name, something activated. Suddenly, windows popped up around me—showing the stats of everyone nearby. Meanwhile, they clearly couldn't see anyone else's stats.

So this was… a skill that lets me observe the status of others?

"Oh, come on. This isn't even a combat skill—"

Before I could complain further, the barrier shattered.

Goblins and orcs poured in.

People screamed, panicked, shoved each other, some falling to the ground. Chaos broke out instantly.

I clenched my teeth, forcing myself to move. I grabbed the starter items the system gave me and sprinted out of the ruined building, leaving behind the terrified crowd and the chaos swallowing them.
