Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Debt of Silence

On the ledger of the cosmos, the most crushing entries are not those of thundering sins, but of absolute silence.

After Wang Chuan and Wang You staked their very existence to quell the storm of the "Debt of Nothingness" at the end of the second volume, they won an era—a new age of rebuilt order, flowing Emotion-Coins, and countless beings competing freely under a vast sky. They had transformed from contenders for godhood to wielders of it, presiding over the reconstructed Hall of Arbitration, overlooking the harmonious operation of the three realms.

This had been their dream, the endpoint they had fought for across countless millennia.

Yet now, Wang Chuan, the former chronicler, stood in the universe's most magnificent library, facing the endlessly self-updating "Scroll of All That Is," and felt an unprecedented emptiness. Everything was perfectly recorded. Everything operated on the rails of law. There were no surprises, no deviations, and no... new stories. He had paid the colossal debt that once shook the cosmos, only to discover that silence itself was a subtler, more pervasive debt.

Wang You, the former architect, wielded near-limitless authority, remolding galaxies, spinning civilizations into being and out of it between his fingers. Yet every miracle he created felt like a replica, following some preordained answer. He had repaid the debt of "Existence," only to incur the debt of "Meaning."

They thought they had settled their opposition with "Nothingness," unaware that the true trial begins at the pinnacle of "Being."

Until the moment arrived.

It was not an invasion, nor a rebellion. It was a soundless sigh from the very foundation of the universe. In the same instant, every god, every living being, felt a tremor in their hearts—as if they had lost something of vital importance, yet had no memory of what it was.

In the "Scroll of All That Is" before Wang Chuan, the page concerning the "Primordial Divinity" was slowly, irreversibly fading. It was not being erased, but was returning to void as if forgotten.

The creative force gathering in Wang You's hands felt sluggish for the first time, as if the universe's very "potential for possibility" was quietly shrinking.

They looked at each other simultaneously, seeing the same shock reflected in each other's eyes. They had won the war, they had won order, but they never anticipated—

The true "Debt of the Heart" is the "first fissure" that quietly appears in a cosmos after its perfection.

And a silent revelation, like a whisper from time immemorial, pierced all barriers to resonate within their divine souls:

"Find me..."

"Before I am forgotten utterly..."

"Repay... this final silence."

Thus, the curtain rises on Volume Three. This is no longer a contest of power, but the ultimate quest for the meaning of existence. They must tread a path even gods deem forbidden, to seek the source of the "Debt of Silence," and reclaim that lost, primordial value before all things return to a perfect nothingness.
