Chapter 54: The Wish

"Come forth, Shenron! Grant my wish!"

The words barely fell when the seven Dragon Balls on the ground immediately emitted dazzling light. The originally clear sky quickly darkened. Golden light shot from the seven Dragon Balls, charging straight skyward.

The golden light reached dark clouds. The clouds rolled. A massive head slowly emerged from cloud layers. Heavy pressure permeated the air.

This pressure differed from when Turles and others released their auras. Instead, it resembled life-level suppression. Even Turles could sense life-form differences from it.

Light gradually converged. Appearing in everyone's vision was a winding giant dragon. The dragon's tail connected to the ground Dragon Balls. Its massive body spiraled while hovering midair. Deep green scales covered its entire form.

Shenron's long whiskers floated in air. Blood-red eyes majestically observed the people below.

Raditz was startled by Shenron's entrance. His aura suddenly exploded, gravely staring at this behemoth.

Turles patted his shoulder, signaling him to relax.

Raditz looked at Turles, then noticed Goku and Bulma's relaxed expressions. Only then did he restrain his aura—though eyes still locked tightly on Shenron.

"Speak your wish. I can grant any wish—but only one."

At this moment, Shenron spoke. Its deep, magnificent voice rang out, seemingly reaching everyone's soul depths directly.

Bulma shifted her gaze toward Turles, wanting to see what wish he'd make.

Turles stepped forward, looking up at Shenron, saying: "Shenron, please grant me three more wishes."

"Ah? ×3"

Goku, Bulma, and Raditz couldn't help looking at Turles—shocked by his operation.

But the next second, Raditz and Bulma looked expectantly toward Shenron.

"..." Shenron fell silent. This was the first time He'd encountered such a situation. His creator hadn't taught Him how to handle this!

After prolonged silence, Shenron used His unique voice: "I'm sorry. Please make another wish. This wish cannot be fulfilled!"

"Sigh!" Raditz and Bulma simultaneously sighed, then somewhat unnaturally glanced at each other, faces showing slight embarrassment.

Turles didn't feel disappointed. This had been his test attempt anyway. After all, so many people transmigrating to the Dragon Ball world had found this wish impossible to grant. He shouldn't be an exception.

"Then grant me the ability to instantly teleport anywhere across the twelve universes!"

The next moment, Turles proposed his already-considered wish—Instant Transmission.

This world was too vast. Whatever Turles wanted accomplishing required extremely long travel time. But after learning Instant Transmission—whether seeking opponents on other planets or encountering unbeatable enemies during battle—these problems would be readily solved.

However, Instant Transmission had two types. One was what Goku would learn in future—Yardrat's version through ki sensing. The other was Kai attendant Kibito's type—capable of instantly teleporting anywhere in the universe without ki sensing.

Turles didn't know Shenron's ability limits. So he didn't specify which type. What if Shenron could grant both?

The three nearby shifted gazes toward Turles. Never expecting his operation would still be so unexpected.

The next moment, all three looked toward Shenron—seeing whether He could fulfill Turles's wish.

"..."

Shenron fell silent again. He hadn't expected that after not emerging for so long, this rare appearance would encounter such a difficult customer. Were human demands already this high now?

He really missed those times when wishes were just for underwear. Huh! Wasn't that girl nearby back then too?

Seeing Shenron's silence, everyone knew this wish was also unfulfillable. Immediately feeling somewhat disappointed.

Raditz even looked at Shenron with some contempt. Never expected Shenron to be so underwhelming. Seems Turles was right—Shenron wasn't omnipotent either.

"My power is insufficient to grant you this ability directly. However, I can give you Instant Transmission's training method."

Shenron offered a compromise suggestion.

Turles considered briefly, then agreed.

Having Instant Transmission's training method wasn't bad either. After all, even Namek's Shenron might not fulfill this wish. Learning Instant Transmission would otherwise require another trip to Planet Yardrat.

Seeing Turles agree, Shenron's spirits lifted. His eyes flashed. Somewhat impatiently: "Your wish has been granted! Farewell!"

Finishing, Shenron's body slowly vanished, converging into seven light points beginning to scatter in all directions. Meanwhile, the sky restored to daylight.

Turles couldn't care about organizing suddenly-appeared memories in his mind. One leap brought him airborne, directly catching one light point—precisely the Four-Star Ball. Though currently, the Four-Star Ball had become stone, requiring one year to restore.

Turles handed the Four-Star Ball to Goku, then sat cross-legged on the ground, beginning to organize his mental memories.

Shenron's wish-granting method was quite crude—directly packaging massive data and stuffing it into Turles's brain. If not for Turles's decent mental strength, he'd probably have burst from this data, becoming an idiot.

While organizing this data, Turles mentally gave Earth's Shenron a bad review.

Seeing Turles suddenly sit on the ground, everyone exchanged glances before dispersing.

Goku pulled Raditz to find his spaceship, hoping Bulma could quickly build a gravity chamber.

Meanwhile, Bulma considered briefly, then drove her aircraft following both, together searching for Goku's ship.

Spending a full hour, Turles finally roughly reviewed this data. Could only say—truly worthy of Instant Transmission. That densely-packed spatial knowledge made Turles's eyes spin.

Who knew how Goku—this academic underachiever who'd never attended school a single day—had learned it within one year.

Fortunately, this knowledge didn't require Turles truly understanding everything. Just following the given methods would eventually lead to successful cultivation. Moreover, Bulma was precisely Capsule Corporation's young heiress. She could probably help his training somewhat.

Opening his eyes, Turles stood from the ground, discovering the sky had already darkened. Not a single person remained before him.

Slightly sensing auras, he found Goku and Raditz together. What somewhat surprised Turles—he'd also sensed Bulma's presence near them both.

However, Turles quickly understood. Shaking his head, he walked toward the room Bulma had prepared for him.
