Chapter 3 - Superhero Name?

New York.

Aaron and Kate walked slowly down the street.

"Aaron, you easily beat those people several meters away. Can I learn how to do that?"

"Please rest assured, I will give you ample compensation. I can give money, lots and lots of money." Kate's eyes were filled with anticipation.

Ever since she saw Aaron, like a divine descent, subdue those bad guys, she was no longer interested in those dolls she used to play with.

She wanted to have powerful fighting skills and strength, just like Aaron.

"If you want to gain power like mine, then I'm sorry, I cannot give it to you now." Aaron shook his head.

Theoretically, the primal furnace could bestow the same characteristics and concepts on other people.

But why would he do that?

Even if Kate was cute, there was no relationship between them. He would absolutely not casually bestow supernatural abilities upon others. At least, not to strangers.

Kate's expression dimmed upon hearing this.

"Can an ordinary person become a superhero?" She was a little unwilling.

Kate's understanding was a bit off, but Aaron didn't correct her. Instead, he said, "Yes. Look at Tony Stark, isn't he an ordinary person who became a superhero?"

Instead of being encouraged, Kate became even more dejected after hearing this. "But I don't have armor."

"I asked mom, and she said it requires a lot of money, and a big brain, to create something so amazing."

"My family doesn't have enough money, and I don't have a brain as smart as Mr. Stark's."

Aaron looked left and right, then casually said, "Then why don't you start with the basics, learn various fighting techniques, and exercise your body at the same time?"

Kate pondered, "That sounds good? I'll tell mom to sign me up for Taekwondo, fencing, Judo, martial arts…"

Kate fiddled with her fingers, speaking earnestly.

Aaron chuckled. "I suggest you slow down. You're still growing, don't do too many strenuous exercises that could harm your body."

"And Taekwondo… I think you might want to consider other martial arts."

Kate nodded seriously upon hearing this. "I will consider it carefully."

However, Kate was still a bit unenthusiastic.

Although Aaron had pointed her in the right direction, the thought of so many things to learn, and not being able to quickly possess great strength like Aaron's to protect her mom and dad, Kate naturally wasn't very happy.

Especially since Aaron didn't seem to want to be her teacher?

Kate looked up at Aaron's tall figure. "Can you teach me? Anything, fighting, combat experience…"

Aaron's expression was strange as he said, "I don't mind being your teacher, but the things I know, I really can't teach."

"For example…"

"Have you watched Ultraman Tiga?"

"Yes."

Kate's expression brightened as she said, "The child in it can turn into light to help Tiga defeat the monster."

Aaron blinked. "If I said I can also turn into light, would you believe me?"

"Eh?"

Suddenly, the background music of Ultraman Tiga played beside them, like the sun piercing through the night.

Kate, while immersed in the music, was still wondering where the sound had come from.

Then, her eyes fixed on Aaron and could no longer move away.

"Oh my goodness! I saw light!"

Kate covered her mouth.

At this moment, a glow appeared on Aaron's body, growing brighter and brighter, seeming very warm.

"You… you are an ultraman?!"

Seeing Kate's wide-eyed, shocked expression, Aaron chuckled and shook his head. The light receded, and his still warm large hand ruffled Kate's hair.

"I was just joking, don't mind it. I'm not an ultraman, these are just some minor abilities."

"But you really can turn into light. Flash Man?"

Kate was still immersed in the scene she had just witnessed.

Superman? Ultraman? Or the Sun God?

A storm raged in Kate's mind, searching for the most fitting codename for Aaron's abilities.

As she thought, Aaron had already started singing.

This time, it was a very popular American pop song that was recently all the rage.

However, what surprised Kate the most was that Aaron's rendition sounded exactly like the original singer she had heard.

No, it seemed even better.

Every note, every beat, was just perfect.

Before long, Aaron switched to another piece of music with a completely different tune. But it was still incredibly melodious, and the vocal transitions were incredibly smooth, as if they were cast from the same mold.

"How… how did you do that? Maybe you could consider becoming a singer? You would definitely be world-famous."

Kate suddenly understood why Aaron had said that.

Just this one skill, she probably wouldn't be able to master it even if she spent several years, would she?

Absolute imitation of other people's voices!

It was so vivid and lifelike, it was as if the original singer was singing it.

"Maybe you could also be called Mockingbird?"

Kate rubbed her hair vigorously, it was too hard to choose.

"Or should I just call you The Impossible Man?"

"Or Omni-man?"

Aaron waved his hands repeatedly."Stop agonizing over these things. I don't want any more shocking words to come out of your mouth."

First Mockingbird, then The Impossible Man. If he kept letting her imagination run wild, she'll probably come up with names like Thanos, Chthon, or Shuma-Gorath.

This is Marvel. Truly calling out names like that has a chance of attracting Loki's gaze.

...

Aaron's ability to imitate voices came from a special ability he gained after devouring/smelting his mobile phone.

When he was playing music earlier, he had a sudden inspiration, realizing that he could quickly transform sound signals in his mind to imitate other voices.

The facts proved this to be true.

He could easily record external audio, convert it into signals, and then reproduce it perfectly. The two signals were almost identical, but there would be errors during the conversion and transmission processes. However, that small amount of error could basically be ignored.

But this ability couldn't fool certain special beings.

Daredevil, for example, would likely be able to tell the difference.

The sound might be the same, but the emotion would definitely be different. Extremely sensitive people could distinguish truth from falsehood based on this.

"We're here."

Aaron stopped at a corner of the street.

Kate looked up, her tone suddenly rising. "Insect store?! You like insects?!"

Aaron raised an eyebrow. "It seems you're afraid of those things? I'll go in for a while, you wait outside."

Kate was conflicted. "I'll still go in with you, you hold my hand. I'm a little afraid of those things, and snakes."

Compared to insects, she was more afraid of strange, unknown people appearing from nowhere.

Aaron laughed heartily and waved toward the distance.

A burly woman walked over from afar.

She nodded toward Aaron.

Aaron said, "Your protection target needs to stay outside for a while. Take her to the cafe we just passed."

Upon hearing this, the woman nodded seriously, her expression cool and severe behind her sunglasses.

However, she still asked curiously, "Mr. Aaron, how did you find me?"

As a professional, she had maintained a protective distance of at least a hundred meters.

"You think acting like that is cool?"

Aaron rolled his eyes, looking unapproachable. He could see everything clearly, even from several hundred meters away.

Of course, he actually detected her through signals transmitted in the air. Not only did he discover her whereabouts, but he also "heard" her communication with Eleanor.

This was also a crucial reason why he confirmed her identity.

Eleanor suspected that the previous attack was an operation deliberately planned by other security companies.

As the saying goes, competitors are enemies.

What better way to damage a company's reputation than for the owner of a security company to be unable to protect their own daughter?

Aaron didn't care about these rivalries between competitors. Combined, they couldn't compare to what he was about to do.
