Chapter 182 - Hela VS Apocalypse

Apocalypse looked back at the pyramid, which had been cut in half by a sword and said, "You almost hit me just now. It seems you are a descendant of those lowly slaves."

Hela immediately became enraged upon hearing this.

"Descendant of slaves? You lowly mortal, standing before you is the daughter of Odin, Hela, the goddess of death."

Hela was very angry. She had originally wanted to fight Apocalypse for a while. But now, she wanted to end the battle quickly.

She stomped heavily, and her entire body instantly swept dozens of meters away. Facing the 'indestructible' shield, she raised her fist.

"Break!"

Boom!

The magic gathered at the fist collided with the shield, and the violent energy stirred up hundreds of meters of turbulent sand.

Immediately after, two figures flew out simultaneously.

Hela floated backward in the air.

Meanwhile, Apocalypse rolled across the ground like a ball for dozens of meters before stopping.

He struggled to get up, touching his scraped face. Although the wound had already healed, some blood remained.

"Very well... you dare to make a supreme God bleed."

Apocalypse gradually grew serious. Having just emerged, he, who claimed to be the strongest Mutant, had encountered a formidable character capable of harming him. This surprised and angered him greatly.

Hela subconsciously glanced at Aaron, her expression slightly strained.

To think that she, a dignified God, was actually knocked back by a mere Mutant. This was a tremendous humiliation.

She said nothing, landing on the ground before rushing forward again.

Her speed was almost close to the speed of sound, ordinary people couldn't react at all. But Apocalypse clearly possessed Mutant abilities like Dynamic Vision. His eyes turned white, and the entire world seemed to slow down on his vision.

He waved his right hand, and the sand and dust on the ground turned into a large hand grabbing Hela's ankle mid-run.

More sand and dust, controlled by him, turned into countless miniature bullets, attempting to pierce Hela through.

Hela quickly summoned necroswords to block them, and with a forceful pull, she shattered the large hand formed by the sand and earth.

The sand and dust slammed into the necroswords, eroding them bit by bit until the entire necrosword was shredded.

The remaining sand maintained its momentum, hitting Hela particle by particle. Most were blocked by the Uru Battle Armor she wore. However, some struck unprotected areas, effortlessly piercing Hela's body.

Hela shielded her face while mobilizing magic to create more necroswords.

The injured areas rapidly recovered with the supplement of Asgardian Energy.

The two high-output, high-recovery Tank-Type combatants found themselves unable to overcome the other for the moment.

At this moment, Apocalypse noticed the yellow sand in the sky.

He paused, then looked toward Aaron and the others, scanning the group as if searching for the culprit.

Then, he detected another consciousness within Erik.

"Mental ability?"

Just then, Charles left Erik's consciousness and headed straight for Apocalypse's mind.

Inside Apocalypse's mind, Charles was finally able to stand up like a normal person.

However, before he could act to help Hela, Apocalypse condensed a spiritual body, and a fist sent Charles flying.

Charles was very surprised, not expecting Apocalypse to also possess such powerful mental abilities. In their brief exchange, he had actually been put at a disadvantage.

This was truly unbelievable.

Unwilling to concede defeat, Charles once again gathered his Mental Energy, but Apocalypse, relying on a stronger physique, picked up Charles and gave him a severe beating.

"I have seen you, and I will come for you. Protect your body, I will obtain it."

Saying this, Apocalypse sent Charles flying with a punch.

With his consciousness returning, Apocalypse once again summoned a shield and manipulated the hundreds of millions of tons of yellow sand in the sky, intending to seize control of the sand and completely bury Hela.

But just as he tried to control the sand, he found that another invisible force pushed his power aside.

Apocalypse realized something and finally turned his gaze toward Aaron, whom he had been ignoring.

Aaron had always stood in the center of the crowd, but he did not possess the X-Gene, which led Apocalypse to completely disregard him.

But now—

"Is that your power?"

Apocalypse grew increasingly astonished, glancing at Hela, who was still lively and about to break through his sand restraints.

"Are you and she from the same place?"

Apocalypse, who had always believed that only Mutants possessed transcendent power, now realized that there were other lucky ones besides them and their strength was quite impressive. This generated a sense of crisis within him.

Aaron ignored Apocalypse and looked at Hela instead. "Hela, you have failed this time."

On Earth, the Asgardian Energy Hela could use was limited. Her power was not at its peak. Even if she continued fighting, she would only be evenly matched with Apocalypse.

Hela's talent was immense, she had followed Odin to conquer the Nine Realms when she was only a few decades old. But she did not have enough time to accumulate energy and learn magic, resulting in her current offensive methods being quite limited.

While every one of her abilities was powerful, Apocalypse was no ordinary Mutant. He had more methods, and combined with his incredible recovery ability, it was difficult for Hela, who lacked decisive killing moves, to land a fatal blow.

Hela clearly realized her limitations.

"People with such recovery abilities are disgusting."

Aaron raised an eyebrow upon hearing this. "You're talking about yourself."

Hela, without batting an eye, replied, "I hate regeneration ability users, but I don't hate being one myself."

After speaking, Hela spat. "It's all Odin's fault."

"If he hadn't put a seal on me, why would today be so troublesome?"

"Forget it. Fighting is boring. I quit."

Hela possessed the Authority of Death, and she might be able to directly strip Apocalypse of his life. But that was only a possibility.

Apocalypse possessed a high level of recovery ability and also had the ability to transfer his consciousness.

With numerous abilities, he was practically an unkillable cockroach. His offensive methods weren't strong, but he was very skilled at being annoying.

Hearing this, Apocalypse stopped his actions, staring silently at Aaron and Hela.

A truce? Absolutely impossible!

Not being Mutants yet mastering Mutant power meant that the opponent possessed the strength to challenge Mutants.

Furthermore, from Charles's consciousness, he realized that the current world was ruled by the descendants of those slaves.

He wanted to change this chaotic world, put things back on the right track, and let Mutants become the Kings of the New World.

But most importantly, he had to eliminate Aaron and Hela. If they lived, his heart would not be at peace.

As Apocalypse was thinking, Aaron suddenly looked over. "Are you going to kill us?"

Apocalypse's expression remained unchanged, maintaining his aloof, dismissive posture, silent.

He was contemplating how to quickly end the fight.

Aaron smiled. "You like being mute? Fine, I'll grant your wish."

Aaron suddenly flashed near Apocalypse, his right fist clenched, striking the shield.

Boom!

That colossal force, exceeding millions of tons, instantly shattered the shield that even the necrosword couldn't penetrate.

Apocalypse's face changed drastically.

Looking at the "slowly" approaching fist, he felt an undeniable illusion that he absolutely could not dodge it.

Unstoppable!

Apocalypse immediately opened a Spatial Gate, stepping back and instantly appearing dozens of meters away.

When he looked back at his original spot, he found that Aaron had vanished.

"Behind you."

Apocalypse immediately turned around, only to see a fist rapidly enlarging.

"Only dead men stay silent forever."

As Aaron's voice fell, one punch blasted Apocalypse's head into steam. The headless body was rapidly growing granulation tissue. But Aaron grabbed his body and activated the Primordial Furnace.

In just an instant, Apocalypse, who had trapped Hela in a bitter fight, was completely melted down.

[Force Field: Similar ability detected and fused. You can create a special energy protective field that can isolate attacks or be used to attack.]

[Energy Enhancement: Similar ability detected and fused. You can use your own energy to enhance the abilities of others, including but not limited to Humans, Gods, Mutants, Inhumans, Energy Lifeforms, etc.]

[Consciousness Transfer: You can freely transfer your consciousness onto others, thereby perfectly acquiring their abilities and gaining their lifespan.]

Aaron glanced over.

The ability he valued most was undoubtedly Energy Enhancement, which allowed him to enhance Mutants or any other lifeform possessing energy in batches.

Although the cost was his own energy, did Aaron lack energy?

He absolutely did not.

He had a lot of overflowing energy constrained within his body. This portion of energy could be used perfectly to help strengthen others.
