I leaned back in the seat, my thoughts drifting, when Niall's worried voice cut through the silence. "Mr. Welch, you couldn't secure that glass cup set. What will you tell your father?"
Resting my chin on my hand, I gazed out the window with a faint smirk. "If I'd dropped 600 grand on it, he'd tear me apart."
"Huh?" Niall's brow furrowed in confusion.
He still wasn't getting it.
I didn't feel like spelling it out for him.
With Yolanda watching every penny, if Sullivan ever overpaid for anything, she'd flay him alive.
I'd already selected a different glass cup set for Sullivan—something I knew he'd actually appreciate.
"Mr. Welch, someone's tailing us," Niall announced suddenly.
I checked the rearview mirror and caught sight of the luxury vehicle behind us.
My jaw tightened. "Stop the car."
