Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: Learning the Secret Arts and the Ten-Stroke Spell

After the birthday party ended, Ling returned home and took out all the gifts from the gift box to put them away.

She had thirty Shadow Clones divide into three groups to respectively learn the Yin Seal, Wild Lion's Mane Technique, and Secret Scroll of Emptiness gifted by Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru.

As for Ling, she planned to do a gacha pull. As per her usual routine, she would wash her face first before drawing. Although with Ling's current strength, ordinary Cursed Techniques could no longer bring her much improvement in power.

As the light cluster in her mind circulated, a faint glow shot out, and Ling instantly knew what she had drawn this time.

[Technique of Ten Divisions, Kento Nanami's Innate Technique. It allows the user to select any part of an object and divide it into a 3:7 ratio according to their own choice, forcefully turning the boundary line into a weakness. Striking the weakness causes excessive damage.]

Ling didn't expect to draw an armor-piercing ability this time. This was the second Innate Technique Ling had drawn. Although it seemed weak, Ling knew that there are only weak people, not weak techniques.

This technique, combined with Ling's monstrous strength and physical techniques like Gale Sword Technique, would definitely deal more damage than Tsunade, but the premise was hitting the 3:7 boundary line.

Ling was a little curious if two Innate Techniques could coexist and be used simultaneously. However, when she activated both Ten Shadows Technique and Technique of Ten Divisions, there was no abnormality whatsoever.

This meant that Ling could use two Innate Techniques at the same time, which was normal. Couldn't Brain and Ryomen Sukuna also use two Innate Techniques? (If not, then this is a fanon setting)

This Technique of Ten Divisions was a technique purely for increasing attack power. Ling was curious if this technique would still be effective when performing Ninjutsu attacks.

She was a woman of action, so she immediately went to the courtyard. After forming hand signs, she clapped her hands on the ground, and a four-meter-sided stone cube appeared.

Ling knew what kind of damage she could inflict with a punch without Chakra amplification. Now, Ling planned to try it with the enhancement of Technique of Ten Divisions.

Curse Power was infused into the Technique of Ten Divisions, and the stone cube in front of her immediately showed a regular ten-grid scale line, dividing the front face of the stone cube into a three-to-seven ratio.

Ling looked at the red boundary line appearing at about 1.2 meters high and felt as if she had seen a death line with a Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.

Ling punched out fiercely, precisely hitting that boundary line. Then, Ling felt as if she had hit the stress weak point of the stone cube.

It was a mysterious feeling, like the feeling of a Great Swordsman in One Piece cutting through the 'breath' of all things, a sense of transparency.

"Crack~!" The stone cube, centered on the fist print Ling had made, developed countless fine cracks that quickly spread to all parts of the stone cube.

As the first small piece of rock fell, it was like a domino effect, causing a chain reaction. The four-meter-sided stone cube instantly collapsed, turning into a pile of small rock fragments.

Ling really didn't expect that with the enhancement of Technique of Ten Divisions, a single punch with her physical strength alone could be so terrifying, directly shattering such a large stone cube.

One must know that the thickness of this stone cube was enough to block a B-rank Fire Release attack, yet now it couldn't withstand Ling's "light" punch.

Ling wondered what would happen if she used Chakra amplification. Could she shatter this stone cube into dust with one punch?

Then what about using Monstrous Strength? With one punch, it would probably turn the stone cube into a molecular state. Ling imagined such a scene in her mind.

Next was using Ninjutsu attacks. Ling created another stone cube. This time, she used a common C-rank Fire Release Ninjutsu, Great Fireball Technique.

Great Fireball Technique is an area of effect damage, but even area of effect damage must have a position that can hit that three-to-seven weak point. However, this was just Ling's conjecture, and it still needed to be tested.

Ling gathered Chakra in her throat. Now, her use of Great Fireball Technique had been simplified to two hand signs: bending her index finger and hooking it onto her thumb. This was considered one of Ling's one-handed signs.

Fire Release passed through the hole formed by her index finger and thumb, and the three-to-seven scale line reappeared in Ling's eyes. A fireball with a diameter of four to five meters hit the stone cube.

At that instant, Ling once again sensed that the Technique of Ten Divisions had been triggered. It seemed that, as Ling had guessed, even with an area-of-effect attack, as long as an attack hit that boundary line, it could still trigger the effect of the Technique of Ten Divisions. (Whether this is true is unknown; if not, then this is a fanon setting)

Ling's original Great Fireball Technique could only shatter the edges of the stone cube and thin out the side facing her.

But now, with the enhancement of Technique of Ten Divisions, centered on the boundary line, the Great Fireball, while Ling continuously maintained the effect of Technique of Ten Divisions, broke through the stone cube like a hot knife through butter, shattering it.

Only a stone base remained standing there. This was nothing like the effect a C-rank Great Fireball Technique could achieve. Ling estimated it could even reach the power of a B-rank Ninjutsu.

In other words, with Ling's Technique of Ten Divisions enhancement, the power of any offensive Ninjutsu could inexplicably cause a higher level of damage at the boundary line weak point.

This was undoubtedly good news. As a result, under the same Chakra supply, the damage Ling inflicted was excessive. It could be said that Ling's current ordinary Ninjutsu, with the enhancement of Technique of Ten Divisions, should have reached the Kage-level.

The same applied to her Taijutsu. This meant that Ling had two aspects of her abilities reaching Kage-level, making her a mid-tier quasi-Kage.

A Kage-level strong person cannot have weaknesses. Genjutsu does not necessarily need to reach Kage-level, but either Genjutsu or Ninjutsu must at least reach Kage-level, or at least Genjutsu resistance and response to Genjutsu must reach Kage-level.

Ling was now only lacking in Chakra volume. If her Chakra volume reached Kage-level, Ling should be considered a true Kage-level, although possibly at the gatekeeper level of Kage. However, she would still have an absolute advantage against Jonin.

If Ling used all her techniques, employing both Ten Shadows Technique and Technique of Ten Divisions, supplemented by Reversal Technique and Technique Reversal, she could definitely fight the Third Hokage to a draw.

One must know that this was the Third Hokage in his prime, not the Third Hokage who was killed by Orochimaru at sixty-nine. Ling's only drawback was probably a slight lack of stamina.

Speaking of Technique Reversal, Ling still didn't know what the Technique of Ten Divisions would become after reversal. She hoped it would be as abnormal as the Ten Shadows Technique after reversal.

Using the technique of Reversal Technique, Ling generated some positive Curse Power and then injected it into the Technique of Ten Divisions Innate Technique.

"So this is the ability! It's truly unexpected, but it's indeed quite abnormal. Now I have both offense and defense covered."

Ling understood the ability of the Technique of Ten Divisions after reversal. It was actually very simple: when facing an enemy's attack, Ling could select a three-to-seven ratio on her own body, and then when the enemy's attack hit the designated area outside the boundary line, the opponent's attack would be weakened to one-third of its original power.

However, if the boundary line was hit, she would suffer a weak point strike. This ability was equivalent to a Golden Bell Shield with a weakness.
