Hey there everyone, names Raye, I am your usual Yu.Gi-Oh! player tho i do not follow the meta like many others... Yes I am talking to you "God" Tier Meta deck users. Unlike many others that changes archetypes continuously I always had my eyes only for one archetype born during the Zexal Era the Photon archetype and obviously my favorite card Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon anyway enough talking about that let's talk about how I a normal Yu-Gi-Oh nerd..... GOT HIT BY A GODDAM TRUCK WHILE TAKING A TRAIN LIKE HOW THE HELL DOES TRUCK-KUN HIT ME INSIDE A WHOLE ASS TRAIN AND KILLS ONLY ME! I CALL IT HACKS PEOPLE FUCKING HACKS!
And here I am in front of a old man that has my deck in hand and looking at it while smiling.
"Ehm Excuse me..." I say to the old man as it looks up and strangely enough i didn't expect the afterlife to be like a white room with a table and some tea as i am seated in front of who I think is God?
"Ah yes sorry Raye-kun I was admiring the passion you put in your life with this Photon based deck from what I saw you never once changed deck and only played it since it came out in fact before Galaxy Eyes came out you never once played the game right?" He asked smiling as he floated my favorite and my most beautiful card the Ghost Rare Galaxy Eyes card that was carefully sealed in a Cyan Gray card sleeve as it landed in my hand and I smiled.
"Yes Indeed I just felt something special when seeing Galaxy Eyes for the first time you can say I have an obsession like Kaiba has it for Blue eyes Ha Ha ha!" I laugh as my whole photon deck floats to me and goes back in a neat deck pile as for fun i draw the first 5 cards and i look at the similar perfect starting hand i always drew but never questioned.
"Well what if I told you, that why you always felt something while using Photons and Galaxy Eyes specifically is because, you actually managed to come in contact with him even if your soul is in a universe where duel monsters spirit never reached~" He said while smiling while looking at my chest "Your soul has such a chemistry with Galaxy Eyes that you have slightly come in contact with the Photon Dimension. So now I offer you to be reborn in the world you really love but during a time period of my choice but not alone you will be accompanied by your Photons so what do you say, do we have a deal~?." The old man smiles and put his hand forward.
"Being reborn.... in the Yu-Gi-Oh world... with my photons.... I agree but i want to set some conditions" As he says that he picked 3 set of cards from his deck Ash Blossom, Maxx C and Impermanence "This cards never truly were Photon so I wanna give them away but in exchange i want to be able to create my own cards like some protagonists did by creating cards out of nowhere and lastly..... can you make my Galaxy Eyes Card a Spirit that I can communicate with." I say as I explain my counter offer to him.
The old man grabs the 9 cards in total of the 3 staples and smiles and nods "Ok Agreeable after all this little one always wanted to be with you and in exchange for this 9 cards have this ones in exchange" The 9 cards from the Meta staple transform in 2 Pot of Greeds, 2 Monster Reborn and 1 Card of Demise, 2 Magic Cylinder and 2 Mirror Force. "And lastly I need to change this ones" My Xyz Extra deck floats up as i see my Numbers and Xyz Photon Monsters and The Link Galaxy Eyes Solflare Dragon becoming all Fusion Monsters instead as they go back in a neat pile.
"Wait if they all became fusions it means i am going in a time where Xyz doesn't exists so before Zexal timeline?" I look at the old man as he smiles.
"You are going to the GX era but it won't be the anime or manga one but a fusion of the 2 so except Jaden Yuki to use Masked Hero too other then his Elemental Heroes anyway I said enough and before I send you here." He taps my Ghost Rare Galaxy Eyes as it becomes normal now but as I look at it I can feel it being alive and feel it connected to my soul and my very being while all my other cards photon and galaxy related are connected to itself too now. "Well off you go bye, you will appear at the academy entrance exam and here is your pass to enter the exam" I see my name on it and as I was about to talk I start falling from an hole under me.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DAMN YOU OLD MAN!" I scream as I fall and close my eyes after a few second I feel my body laying under the sun.

I open my eyes as I see myself in a park and as I look around I see a Jellyfish hair teenager bump in a Starfish hair Man and I remember this is Episode 1 of the GX series when Jaden meets Yugi and gets Winged Kuriboh. "Wait if he is here it means the Exam is soon gotta run!" As I Start running I stop and think " (WAIT WHERE EVEN IS THE EXAM DONE?!)" As I say so I hear a voice and start seeing galaxy like particles in a line like making a road. "Raye this way follow this road you will reach the exam location soon" The voice is mature but calm and gentle as I understand it's Galaxy Eyes and I take out the card from my deck and smile at it. "Thanks Galaxy Eyes. Ok Time to go!" I say as I run there and after 5 minutes I reach the place and notice something about my body, It is much fitter then how it was in my original world might be the influence of the old man reincarnating me or Truck-kun gave me abs otherwise I can't explain why.
After 15 minutes i see GX protagonist the Jellyfish hair Jaden arrive late and be scolded but entering the exam class with all of us as the assistants start giving out the exam sheets to everyone and I look dumb founded at the first question:
"How many tributes u need to Normal summon a level 5 monster? Bro what this is like things u learn early how is this an exam for Duel Academy... I could intentionally fail it and go to Slifer but then I would have to live with 2 randoms in my room... better ace this get into Ra or Obelisk since they get single rooms since i can still meet Jaden and be friends with him while not being Slifer."

After getting easily a perfect score in under 10 minutes leaving the instructors speechless it's time for the Practical Duel and strangely Crowler unlike the original decided to duel Jaden first to make an example out of him but it didn't go as planned...
Jaden: "I activate the Field Spell Skyscraper! And now my Elemental Hero Flame Wingman has his field to attack your Ancient Gear Golem teach!" He says while smiling.
Crowler: "Even if you now have a little field spell your lowly hero attack is still lower then my Golem it seems you fail even basic Math."
Jaden: "That May be true for now but... Flame Wingman attack Ancient Gear Golem and now Skyscraper effect activates when a Hero card fights another monster and that monster original attack is higher than my Hero it than gains an extra 1000 Atk during the Damage Step!"
Crowler: Eyes widen but calms down and smiles "Too naive I activate the trap card Sakuretsu Armor to destroy your attacking monster! Say Goodbye to your hero!"
Jaden: "Good move teach but I chain my quick play spell MASK CHANGE! It allows me to change a hero monster i control in a Masked Hero Fusion Monster with the same attribute! Let's go Flame Wingman Henshin! Masked Hero Divine Wind!"

"Because Divine Wind has less attack than Ancient Gear Golem it gains 1000 more atk and because Flame Wingman left the field your Sakuretsu Armor lost it's target!"

"Go Divine Wind destroy Professor Crawler monster with Divine Justice!"
Crowler: "Grrrrrrr My Golem! Just you wait next turn I will destroy you!"

Jaden: "Sorry teach but there won't be a next turn i activate the quick play spell Form Change! This allows me to transform a Hero Fusion Monster in a Masked Hero Fusion Monster with the same level but different attribute! Henshin Masked Hero Koga!"

Crowler: "Wait a sec-" He says Eyes Widen
Jaden: "Koga was summoned during Battle so he can attack too go Koga! Attack Directly Professor Crowler Light Cross!"
Crowler Lp: 2400 --> 0
Crowler: "I-i lost to a slacker..." He says mouth open as he falls on his knees and looks up.
Jaden: "That's game! He he that was a fun duel teach i guess I pass since I won huh teach?" He says after he struck his usual pose after winning.

[Raye Pov]
"So he has his Masked heroes too meaning he will be much more versatile nice I feel hyped to duel him too..." I smile as I see him coming back up the stairs and sit next to Syrus and Bastion that were talking about the duel so I went to them. "Hey Jaden right?"
Jaden: "Yes that is me hello and you are?" He asks looking up and I see his pupils glow yellow for a split second before going back to normal.
"(The supreme king reacted to me? Interesting.) My name is Raye nice dueling out there your heroes are really versatile and you play well." I smile and compliment his skill
Jaden: "He he thanks a lot man ah this are Syrus and Bastion" He says as the 2 where watching us talk.
Syrus: "N-nice to meet you, I am Syrus Truesdale" He stumbles a bit and bows as he presents himself.
Bastion: "Bastion Misawa nice to meet you too." He says as courtesy but he seems to be gauging me firstly similar to how he did to Jaden during Episode 1 before his duel but after it he respected Jaden skills.
"Nice too meet both of you"
After Jadens duel 10 minutes pass for Crowler to regain his posture before fake coughing and sayin in the microphone.
Crowler: "Ok now we will continue the exam in Field 1 against me Raye Seiun as the student with the highest grade in the theoretical, in Field 2 against Proctor (Random) Bastion Misawa ranked second in theoretical and Chazz Princeton in Field 3 against Proctor (Random)."
I get up same time as Bastion close to me and Chazz that was with his minions on the other sides of the room looking smug but looking at us 2 while Bastion smiled at me.
Bastion: "So you are first huh? I expected to be first in Theories but seems I still have to grow huh?" He says as we descend.
"He he I am not that special i am just very informed in duels i bet you could beat me in any other subject anyway good luck with your exam." I nod and smile.
Bastion: "Same for you Raye good luck" He smiles and waves as he goes to Field 2.

As i stand on Field 1 I see Crowler set himself up trying to regain his pride by fighting me even if he seems to look at me with respect because i study good for my result. But that smile it creeps me out and i pick out pot of greed from my deck and sees they are similar. He is indeed the human Pot of Greed i think as we set up out duel disk mine is similar to Kyte from Yugioh Zexal having a crescent moon form catching eyes of many students.
Jaden: "Woah Syrus, look at Raye duel disk it looks so cool like a the moon doesn't it?" He says to Syrus.
Syrus: "Indeed Jaden, it seems a custom made one." He nods at Jaden remark.
Crowler: "Benissimo! Are you ready Mr Seiun for my practicall duel lesson?" He says with re found pride and his giant pot of greed smile
"Yes professor I will give my maximum!"
We both set up our duel disks and draw 5 cards and Crowler picks the initiative.
Crowler: "I will go first Draw!" He draws and I remember in GX they still had the rule that you can draw on turn 1 and the fastest could take the first turn. "I will start by using the spell card Pot of Greed to draw 2 more cards!" He draws 2 cards and then slams a magic card on the duel disk on his chest. "Now i use the magic [Magnet Circle Lvl 2] to special summon a Level 2 or lower machine monster from my hand and I choose Ancient Gear Cannon!"

Crowler: "Now i use the magic card Machine Duplication targeting my Cannon and since it has 500 atk i can now summon 2 other copies from my deck!"

Crowler: "Now observe as I use my Normal summon to tribute 2 of the cannons to summon Ancient Gear Golem in attack Position!"

Crowler: "Now I use the effect of my cannon to sacrifice it and inflict 500 Lp Damage to you directly through his effect!" He says as he slide his Cannon to the graveyard and on the field the holographic version shoots cannons balls at me before falling apart.
Raye Lp: 4000 --> 3500
"Hmph not bad Teacher but you can't attack on the first turn so this 500 damage is the only damage i will get this turn!" I smirk as he frowns.
Crowler: "Don't get cocky now my dear student I set one card down and end my turn."
Crowler hand: 2 cards
Field: 1 card
Set: 1 card
"Ok my turn Photon Draw!" I smirk looking at the monster on my hand.
"I start by activating Galaxy Soldier effect from my hand by sending one Light monster to my graveyard i can special summon it from my hand I send Photon Emperor to the grave and special summon Galaxy Soldier! in Defense Position!"

Crowler: "( Why in defense if it has 0 Defense)"
Jaden: "Why did it summon it in Defense and not attack if it has 2000 atk?" confused

From up the stairs a older student and a female student observe the duel.
Zane: "He summoned it in Defense because his attack isn't higher than ancient gear golem." He says unimpressed
Alexis: "Yeah that must be why let's see what he will do now".

"I now activate Photon Emperor effect when sent to the graveyard while I have a Galaxy or Photon monster on the field I can Special summon it in Defense Position! Come Photon Emperor revive!"

"Now we are set time to get serious I activate Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon effect from my hand by tributing 2 monsters with 2000 atk or more i can special summon it instead of tribute summon! Descend from Space My Soul! Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon!"
The 2 monsters become stardust as they fly up opening a Nebula in the sky as a Dragon roar can be heard and from it it descends and Dragon glowing in an aura similar to a star itself and with eyes deep like the deep space itself as i floats over me and roars!

Examinee: "Amazing it has the same attack as the Legendary Blue eyes White Dragon!" "Yeah True you are right!"
Jaden: "Amazing it looks so cool"
Syrus: "True it looks amazing"
Zane: "Interesting I never saw this type of card, must be a rare card or one passed down in a dojo like my cyber dragons."
Alexis: "It looks intimidating and powerful"
Crowler: "Mmmm a perfect execution of Tribute summoning student Raye" Smiles
"What do you mean teach i still haven't used my normal summon Galaxy eyes special summon itself by tributing monsters~" Smirks at Crowler
Crowler: "Wait what!"
"Now I activate the spell monster reborn and summon Galaxy soldier back from the grave in attack position!"
[Galaxy Soldier] Light/ lvl 5 Atk 2000
"And now I use the magic card Photon Stream of Destruction! This allows me to banish a card from your side of the field if I control a Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon on the field and I choose your set card! Go Galaxy Eyes Photon Stream!"
Crowler: "Mamma Mia! My Sakuretsu Armor noooo! but still I won't be defeated this turn since even if u destroy both our monsters that have 3000 atk your soldier can only deal 2000 damage! I will beat you next tu-"
"Sorry Teach but there won't be a next turn Battle! Galaxy Eyes attack Ancient Gear Golem!" I order
Alexis: "If he attacks he will destroy his monster too. What is his plan?" She asks Zane.
Zane: "I do not know but maybe it has to do with his dragon"

Jaden: "Go Raye!"
Syrus: "You can do it!"

I smirk and look at Crowler. "(Time to use Galaxy eyes new effect!) At the moment of battle Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon effect activates it banishes the targeted monster and gains 500 atk x 2 levels! Ancient Gear Golem is level 8 so Galaxy Eyes gains 2000 atk go Photon Banishment!"
Zane: "Interesting..." He says while looking at the field as Photon Dragon Lights destroys Ancient Gear Golem
Alexis: "That Dragon is really strong and it's effect is nothing to laugh at it could destroy a boss monster in one turn and OTK the opponent if it has no defense set." She says as she looks at the play.
Jaden: "Wow that effect is amazing and it makes Raye Dragon so strong! Wait Look it's shining now is this his true form?" He says looking as the effect is complete and now Galaxy Eyes glows like a Photon in the night sky.
Syrus: "It is a really powerfull card wow..."
Examinee: "Amazing it destroyed Ancient Gear Golem just like that and his attack is higher then Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon now!"
[Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon] Light / Lvl 8 Atk 3000 --> 5000 Def 2500
Crowler: "Wait stop time out!" He says scared looking at the menacing dragon flying to him.
"Sorry Teach this is the end battle continues! Galaxy Eyes direct attack Photon Stream of Destruction!"
Crowler Lp: 4000 --> 0
"And that is the end." I take my cards off the duel disk and my deck back in it's holder as my duel disk retracts back onto my arm becoming a normal bracer again as i go back to my sit after beating Crowler.
